Hi Resilient Sunshine!
Thank you so much for joining me today for another meditation.
Please do take some time to set yourself up comfortably in the most comfortable position for you right now,
Whether that's going to be sitting or laying down.
I'd like you today to try and make an effort to sit down because we're gonna try to keep ourselves a little energized.
This is a meditation to carry on with your day or start your day with full of positive energy.
And as you are set,
I'll ask you to give a little wiggle in your body just to make sure that you can feel yourself grounded.
Shake a little bit your hips,
Shake a little bit your shoulders.
Try to invite fluidity with you today.
No matter how you woke up,
No matter what happened earlier in your day,
No matter what is expected of you later on,
Right now this is your moment.
You're right here,
Right now,
Taking the time to just be,
Be with yourself.
And in these moments,
And what I love about moments like these,
Is that you set your own expectations.
If you have an intention for the session,
Please do set it,
But don't feel obliged to.
This is your time just to set yourself up for the day.
I'm gonna invite you here to take a deep breath in,
And hold there for a few seconds.
One,
Three,
And exhale from the mouth.
There's no square breathing exercise,
Nothing that is expected more of you.
Just go back to your normal breathing.
And in this moment,
If you hadn't closed your eyes already,
Please feel free to close them.
I'd like you to pay a little attention to your shoulders.
How are they feeling?
Can you feel some tension between your neck and your shoulders?
Are you holding tight?
As you breathe normally,
Can you feel your breathing flow?
Flowing through your body at all.
Can you connect with parts of your body?
Can you shake your elbow?
The right,
The left,
The right,
And the left,
The right,
And the left.
The right wrist.
And the left wrist.
Back to the shoulders.
Can you feel anything left,
Any resistance left in those shoulders?
Can you shake them up a little,
Move them around just a tiny bit?
No need to overdo anything,
Just whatever feels comfortable to you right now,
That's all that matters.
Right,
That's right.
How is your back feeling?
Do you feel some tension?
Can you adjust?
Can you breathe in and out?
Ah,
Releasing anything that might still feel stuck.
What we're breathing in is the energy of this present moment.
So we're breathing in the present and we're exhaling in this present still.
We're there.
Ah,
If you feel cold too,
You can feel free to put your hands on your knees if your position allows you to do so.
And just touch your knees.
Touch your thighs.
Be the present,
Give yourself a gentle squeeze.
Just gentle,
Just to tell yourself,
I'm here.
I am here.
I'm here,
Just there.
Nothing else matters.
And as you feel a little bit more present in your body right now,
We're not moving the shoulders anymore.
We're not moving our elbows anymore.
We're not touching or squeezing our knees or anything particularly.
Just invite the stillness as much as you can.
Just notice these parts of your body that you've been just shaking a little bit or moving a little bit just before.
Notice the stillness there.
Just this second suspended in time where you are just there.
You do exist.
And why is this so inviting to us is that no matter what happens in your day,
Whether you're in movement,
Running between meetings or actually just sitting still in front of your computer,
You can always invite your body to move a little bit more or be a little more still.
It is so insightful to allow it to express itself,
To allow it to be movement,
To allow it to pause,
Be in movement again,
Pause.
That just shows us that same as our body,
Our mind can also be in perpetual movement and also find some brief moments to pause.
And sometimes pausing may mean focus and just focusing on something very specific.
So I'd like to invite you right now to,
If you hadn't set an intention at the beginning of this practice,
Invite an intention to sit with you right now for the rest of your day.
If there is one thing,
One thing that you'd like to happen the rest of this day,
What would that be?
Just surrender to whatever came first.
Just surrender to that and seal this intention within by bringing your left hand on your heart and your left hand over it.
Taking a deep breath in and a long exhale out.
And like every practice,
I'd like to thank you for showing up and to invite you to thank yourself for showing up.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And gently allow your eyes to open wide again.
Take a look around you,
What's surrounding you,
What's inviting you to step back into your day right now with a clear intention.
And I'm wishing you to carry on this day with all the love and resilience possible.
