Hi,

This is Ozzy.

Thank you for joining me in today's guided meditation.

Today's meditation will be a restorative one,

To calm the mind and release stress and anxiety.

This is a meditation that you can do in the evenings,

To calm your mind,

But also in the morning,

If you feel that your brain is already rushing through the thoughts.

You know,

At times we get overwhelmed by our daily lives,

Our emotions,

Our daily activities,

And sometimes,

Funny enough,

We use the expression,

I cannot get out of my own head.

Well,

Today,

We're going to do just the opposite.

We're going to get inside our head,

To find a healthier connection with ourselves,

With our mind,

And with our body.

So as we begin,

Sit comfortably in a cross-legged position.

Place your palms facing upwards on your knees.

Take a moment to recognize every sound around you.

Familiarize yourself with your environment.

What can you hear?

Pay attention to every slight sound that surrounds you,

May it be far away or close to you.

Take a moment to acknowledge the temperature of the room.

Feel the temperature of the air against your skin.

Feel the temperature of the air as it flows smoothly in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Feel the temperature of your own body,

Your arms,

Your feet,

Your legs.

How does the inside of your body feel?

Take a moment to connect to that feeling.

And as you do that,

Just keep breathing slowly,

In and out.

With every inhale,

Try to relax your mind.

And with every exhale,

Try to relax your body.

Now,

Visualize yourself sitting in a beautiful,

Lush garden.

You are sitting on a wooden bench underneath a majestic willow tree.

This is your personal garden.

This is a restorative place,

Where nothing and no one from the outside world can reach you.

Take a moment to look at all the beautiful nature around you.

Notice the color of the trees.

Notice the smell of the grass.

And the sensation of having your bare feet touching it.

Maybe afar you can see a pond.

Maybe you can hear birds singing.

Maybe you can see animals walking around you.

Take a moment to admire all this beautiful nature.

This is a soothing environment.

This is a safe space for you to finally unwind and connect with your inner self.

In this garden,

None of your daily problems matter.

There is just you and your own self.

As you enjoy this beautiful garden,

Repeat this mantra.

I release all my worries and cultivate inner peace.

I release all my worries and cultivate inner peace.

And as you repeat these words,

They are becoming embedded in you.

In fact,

They are becoming your very nature.

As you feel peace settling down within you,

Notice that next to you,

On that bench,

There is a small wooden box.

Take it in your hands.

Open the box and collect anything you would like from this garden to keep inside the box.

Maybe it's your favorite flower.

Maybe it's a stone.

Find one thing that you like the most in this environment and place it in the box.

You will be able to take it with you and use it at any moment of the day to reconnect with this feeling of peace and inner calm.

All you'll have to do is just picture it in your mind.

Start to feel the weight of your body.

As you sit comfortably on the floor or on the chair,

Start reconnecting with the smells and the sounds around you.

Gently wiggle your fingers,

Your toes as you slowly reconnect with your physical body.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with your surroundings and with the next inhale,

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

You can thank yourself for taking this time to connect with your mind,

To find inner peace and calm.

Thank you for joining me today for this guided meditation.

I really hope you enjoyed it and I really hope it will help you as you go through your day or as you prepare yourself to go to sleep.

Till next time,

Namaste.
