Hello and welcome.

My name is Satine Starr and today we are going to release the stress that is stored in your body,

In your muscles,

And in your nervous system.

Today,

We're going to release it all.

So I ask that you stand or sit comfortably,

Take a deep breath,

And let's begin.

Now,

Let's be honest about what it is that's stressing you out.

Is it work?

Maybe it's money?

Relationships?

Maybe your health?

I just want you to take the time to name it without pushing it away so that we can fully acknowledge it.

You can say,

I'm stressed out about blank.

And that's okay.

It's a lot.

Now,

We're going to take some time to focus on those things that are stressing you out.

And if it's more than one thing,

That's okay.

Just name it.

Don't push it away and acknowledge it.

Now,

We're going to physically release that stress.

So I want you to shake out your hands,

Shake your arms,

Shake your whole body if you need to.

This is how we physically release that tension and signal to the body that we are actively releasing that stress.

Now,

I want you to make a sound.

It can be any sound that feels right to you.

It can be a sigh,

A groan,

Whatever wants to come out.

Give it permission without judgment and release it.

Now,

If you can,

I want you to jump one to two times.

Then,

I want you to stomp your feet.

What we're trying to do is move that stress through your body and out of your body.

Now,

I want you to stand still and place both of your hands on your belly.

And I want you to take the deepest breath that you've taken all day.

And when you take this deep breath,

Make sure you hold it at the top for at least a four-count and then exhale forcefully through your mouth,

Almost like you're trying to blow out birthday candles.

Now,

I want you to repeat this three more times.

Breathe in.

Hold.

And breathe out that stress with your exhale.

Again,

Breathe in.

Hold.

And breathe out that stress with your exhale.

One more time.

Take a deep breath,

As deep as you can get it.

Hold.

And release.

Now,

I'm going to go through some affirmations that I would like you to repeat out loud.

I release what I cannot control.

I trust myself to handle what comes.

I am allowed to rest.

I am doing enough.

I am enough.

Let's repeat those one more time.

I release what I cannot control.

I trust myself to handle what comes.

I am allowed to rest.

I am doing enough.

I am enough.

Now,

I want to wrap this meditation up with rolling our shoulders back,

Standing taller,

And knowing that you just released so much tension from your body.

So,

Let's roll those shoulders.

And you can continue this until you feel relaxed and that the tension in your shoulders have been released.

And I want you to take a final deep breath with me here.

Inhale.

And release.

And now,

You can return to what you were doing,

Lighter and more relaxed.

Thank you for taking the time today to work with your body and to release that stress and that tension that's been holding you back and keeping you spinning.
