Although it feels urgent,

Please know that you are still in control of how you show up for yourself.

Thank you for honoring your needs by pausing to simply tend to your body in order to get back on track.

This won't take long,

I promise.

Now,

If you're able,

Gently close your eyes or simply gaze downward in front of you.

All I need you to do,

In this moment,

Is to imagine that you are smelling a flower and then blowing out a candle.

Smelling a flower and blowing out a candle.

In that order.

Now let's begin.

Smell the flower and blow out the candle.

Again,

Smell the flower and blow out the candle.

Smell the flower and blow out the candle.

Now repeat this as many times as needed until you feel at ease and are able to adequately return to your day.

And I thank you for having the audacity to activate your self-care practice in the midst of stress and or chaos.

Because you are worth it.

Thank you.
