Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Somewhere you feel safe and will be undisturbed.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
Slowly exhale through the mouth,
Letting go of any stress or distractions.
Take another deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your full body down to the tips of your toes,
And exhale through the mouth.
Let it all go.
Allow yourself to settle into the peace of this moment.
Let your breath return to normal.
Feel the cool air entering your nostrils as you inhale,
And the warm air leaving your nostrils as you exhale.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to become more relaxed and present,
Fully supported by the surface beneath you.
Now bring your attention to the area of your heart.
Imagine a warm,
Radiant light glowing in the center of your chest.
Take note of whatever color this light appears to be,
And remember,
There are no wrong answers.
This light represents your heart chakra,
And its energy is associated with love,
Compassion,
And deep emotions.
With each inhale,
Imagine the air feeding this light,
Getting brighter and growing stronger with each breath.
Picture this radiant light expanding outward,
Gently enveloping your entire body.
See it extending beyond your body,
Creating a warm aura around you.
Take a moment to bring forward something you've been struggling with emotionally.
Don't overthink it.
Whatever comes to mind,
Let it exist as it is without trying to change it or fix it.
Be a witness to your own hurt,
And make space for your own emotions.
You're safe here,
To let these emotions expand,
Letting them filter through your body and your heart.
