
Alignment - Breathing Your Yes

This breathwork journey is an invitation into alignment, the felt experience of coming into coherence with your inner truth. Through conscious connected breathing, awareness is guided out of the thinking mind and into the intelligence of the body. As breath flows continuously, clarity begins to arise as sensation, resonance, and inner knowing rather than analysis. Alignment here is not something to figure out, but something to feel. This practice supports embodied clarity, helping you sense when something is true for you and when it is not. A space to reconnect with your inner yes and allow direction to emerge from within. Please note: This practice is conscious connected mouth breathing and is not recommended during pregnancy, for those with a history of seizures, heart conditions, or other medical considerations that may be affected by activating breathwork. Welcome beautiful soul,
Take a moment now to truly arrive,
Let this time be a pause from everything else,
A pause from doing,
A pause from thinking,
A pause from holding yourself together,
Please allow yourself to lie down,
Let your body rest fully on the surface beneath you,
Feel the weight of your body being received by earth,
You do not need to hold yourself here,
The ground is doing that for you,
Make yourself comfortable,
Warm,
Supported,
If there is anything around you that feels distracting,
Allow it to fall into the background now,
Nothing outside of the space needs your attention,
Gently close your eyes and let the outside world soften,
Take a slow inhale through your nose and a long exhale through the mouth,
Let the breath carry away the residue of your day,
Again inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth,
Allowing the shoulders to drop,
The jaw to soften,
The belly to relax,
One more time,
Slow inhale through the nose and a long exhale out the mouth,
With every exhale your nervous system receives the message that it is safe to slow down,
Safe to be here and safe to let go,
Now bring your awareness gently into your heart space,
Not as an idea but as a feeling,
And I invite you now to set an intention for this journey,
Whatever arises is enough,
Hold it softly without pressure,
This breath work is about alignment,
Not alignment as something you force or achieve but alignment as something you feel,
Alignment is the moment your body relaxes into truth,
The moment your system recognizes what supports it,
The moment your breath moves without resistance,
Your body is intelligent living system,
It knows exactly what you need in this moment in order to restore balance,
Clarity and ease,
Today we will be working with conscious connective breathing,
This means breathing in and out through the mouth,
Allowing the breath to flow in a continuous circular rhythm,
No pauses at the top and no pauses at the bottom,
The style of breathing brings oxygen deep into the body,
Oxygen is medicine,
It nourishes your cells,
It supports your nervous system,
It creates the conditions for energy to move and reorganize,
As the breath deepens you may feel sensations arise in the body,
Tingling,
Warmth,
Waves of energy,
You may feel emotion move,
You may feel memory surface,
All of this is natural and all of this is welcome,
Your body will only ever meet you where you are,
It will never give you more than you are ready for,
This journey will move through three rounds of breathing,
Each followed by a breath hold on the exhale,
The breath holds are moments of deep integration,
They allow clarity to settle,
They allow alignment to stabilize,
If at any point your body asks for air during a hold,
You are always welcome to take a small inhale and fully exhale again and return to the stillness,
You are in control,
You are supported,
There is nothing you need to push,
Nothing you need to fix,
Nothing you need to figure out,
Your only invitation is to stay present and allow the breath to guide you,
We will begin the first round of breathing together,
So on my count let's begin with the technique,
Three,
Two,
One,
Open your mouth nice and wide,
Inhale through the mouth,
Exhale through the mouth,
Inhale through the mouth,
Exhale through the mouth,
Inhale through the mouth,
Exhale through the mouth,
Allow the breath to flow in and out,
Connected and continuous,
No pauses,
No forcing,
Just a steady circular rhythm that your body naturally finds,
As you breathe let yourself fully arrive here,
Nothing else matters right now,
There is nowhere to get to,
Nothing to achieve,
This is your time,
Inhale and exhale,
With each inhale fresh oxygen moves through the body nourishing every cell,
With each exhale space is created,
Not because you're trying to let go,
But because the body knows how,
Let the breath do the work,
As the rhythm settles bring your awareness gently into the body,
Feel the weight of your body being supported beneath you,
Feel how the ground is holding you without effort,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
Notice how the breath begins to soften the nervous system naturally,
The body responds to safety immediately,
When it feels held it opens,
You do not need to control this process,
Your body is intelligent,
Continue breathing,
Inhaling through the mouth,
Exhaling through the mouth,
You may begin to start noticing sensation moving through the body,
Warmth,
Tingling,
Energy flowing,
Emotional waves,
All of this is welcome,
Don't resist it,
This is circulation returning,
This is life force moving more freely,
Nothing is wrong,
Nothing is too much,
Your body will only open to what it is ready to release,
Trust your body,
Trust this process,
As the breath continues gently bring your awareness to alignment,
Alignment is not something you force,
It is something you feel,
It is the feeling of ease instead of effort,
Expansion instead of contraction,
Truth instead of pressure,
As you breathe ask yourself gently,
Not with words but with awareness,
Where in my life do I already feel aligned,
Where do I feel steady,
Grounded and at home in myself,
Let the body answer,
Notice what happens in the chest,
Notice what happens in the belly,
Notice the quality of breath when you imagine living from that place,
This is your body showing you what alignment feels like,
Stay with this breath,
Now allow awareness to move to a place in your life where you feel an invitation to choose more,
Just an invitation,
As you hold this lightly in awareness notice how the body responds,
Does something soften,
Does the breath deepen,
Does a sense of clarity emerge,
This is your inner guidance communicating through sensation,
You don't need to rush it,
You don't need to analyze it,
Just keep breathing,
With each inhale you're creating space for truth,
With each exhale you are allowing the body to reorganize itself naturally,
If emotions arise let it move,
Emotion is energy in motion,
If the breath wants to deepen,
Allow it,
If the breath wants to stay steady,
Trust that too,
There is no right way or wrong way,
There is only your way,
As this first round deepens bring awareness to self-trust,
Not as an idea but as a felt sense,
Self-trust lives in the body,
It is the knowing that you can stay with yourself,
That you can listen,
That you can respond honestly,
Each breath strengthens this connection,
You are teaching your nervous system that it is safe to feel,
Safe to open,
Safe to choose from truth,
Stay with the breath,
Feel the body becoming more present,
More alive,
More available,
You're not drifting away,
You are arriving,
You are coming up to our first breath hold,
So keep breathing,
Breathe a little bit deeper if you can,
A little bit fuller,
Bring as much oxygen into the body as possible before our first breath hold,
Stay connected to your breath,
Okay,
On your next breath take a deep inhale through the mouth,
Fill the lungs fully,
Then exhale everything out,
Let the breath empty completely and then hold your breath,
In the stillness notice what remains,
Notice the presence in the body,
Notice the quiet strength beneath the sensation,
This is not emptiness,
This is awareness without movement,
Stay with it,
Let the body speak,
Notice any sensations,
Notice any clarity,
Notice any sense of grounding or openness,
Keep holding if you can,
If you can't take a quick sharp inhale and release and come back to the hold,
Ask yourself gently from this place,
What feels most true in my body right now,
What choice allows my body to soften and expand,
Do not answer with words,
Let sensation respond,
You are safe,
Your body knows exactly how to regulate,
Stay with it,
Let this clarity imprint,
Okay,
When you're ready take a big slow inhale through the mouth,
Hold it at the top,
Beautiful and then a long steady exhale and just let the breath return,
As breathing resumes,
Notice the shift,
Something has settled,
Perhaps subtle,
Perhaps clear,
This is alignment integrating at a cellular level,
Okay,
On my count let's come back to the breath technique,
So in and out the mouth,
Let the nervous system absorb this information,
Feel the body now,
More present,
More grounded,
More available,
Inhale and exhale,
Allow it to continue flowing in and out through the mouth,
Connected and circular without pause,
No need to change anything,
No need to correct the rhythm,
Your body already knows where to take this,
Trust it,
Okay,
As the breath continues,
Notice how different the body feels now compared to when you began,
Perhaps more open,
More awake,
More honest,
This is the intelligence of oxygen moving through places that have been waiting for it,
Let your awareness settle deeper into the body,
Not hovering above it,
Not watching it from a distance,
Dropping fully into it,
Feel the breath moving through the chest,
The ribs,
The belly,
Feel how the body responds when it is met with presence instead of pressure,
The second round is about trust,
Not trust as an idea,
Trust as a lived physical experience,
Trust is the feeling that you can stay with what is true without collapsing,
That you can feel what you feel and remain grounded,
That you can listen to your body without needing to override it,
Okay,
As the breath continues,
Gently bring your awareness to the centre of your chest,
The place where truth is often felt before it is understood,
Notice the quality of sensation there,
Is it warm,
Is it open,
Is it quiet,
Is it expansive,
Whatever is present is welcome,
Allow the breath to meet the space,
Not to change it but to support it,
With each inhale fresh oxygen nourishes the centre,
With each exhale the body softens into itself,
You are not doing this to fix anything,
You are doing this to remember,
Remember how it feels to be in your body without resistance,
Remember how it feels to trust your own signals,
Remember how it feels to let life move through you instead of holding it back,
As the breath continues,
Bring your awareness to the idea of choice,
Not choices and obligation,
Choices and alignment,
Keep breathing in and out the mouth,
Inhale and exhale,
Inhale and exhale,
Every breath deeper than the breath before,
Bringing as much oxygen into the cells as possible,
Alignment is what happens when the body feels supported enough to be honest,
As you breathe allow one area of your life to gently come into awareness,
Simply a place where you feel an invitation to choose from truth,
Notice how the body responds when you imagine choosing what feels most aligned,
Notice the breath,
Notice the posture of the body,
Notice whether there's a sense of expansion,
Ease,
Clarity,
This is your body communicating,
You don't need to justify it,
You don't need to explain it,
You only need to listen,
Stay with this breath,
Stay with the technique,
If sensation intensifies anywhere,
Let it,
Sensation is movement,
Movement is release,
The body opens layer by layer at its own pace,
There is no rush here,
There is no deadline,
There is only presence,
As this round deepens,
Bring awareness to the spine,
Feel the spine supporting you effortlessly,
Strong without strain,
This is the posture of inner alignment,
Let the breath support the sense of grounded strength,
With each inhale feel yourself gathering clarity,
With each exhale feel yourself settling more,
You are allowing alignment to surface,
As the breath continues notice how the nervous system responds when you stay present instead of pulling away,
The body learns quickly when it is safe,
Safe to feel,
Safe to choose,
Safe to trust,
Keep breathing,
You're doing an amazing job,
You are teaching your system that honesty is supported here,
Stay with the breath,
The second round is preparing you for deeper embodiment,
For ownership,
For commitment to your own truth,
Take a few more rounds before we have our second breath hold,
This is where trust settles more deeply,
Stay connected,
Okay beautiful,
On your next breath take a deep inhale through the mouth,
Fill the lungs fully and then exhale everything out and let the breath completely empty and hold,
Remain here in the stillness,
Notice the body,
Notice the sense of grounding beneath you,
This is trust without effort,
Ask yourself gently what feels true to you right now,
What choice allows your body to feel settled and supported,
Listen to the sensation,
If at any point you need air take a small inhale,
Exhale fully again and return to the hold,
There is no urgency,
There is no force,
You are safe,
Let the sense of trust imprint at cellular level,
When you are ready take a beautiful slow inhale through the mouth and hold it at the top and exhale slowly,
Let the breath return to its natural rhythm,
As breathing resumes notice the shift,
Something has stabilized,
Perhaps a sense of inner strength,
This is trust integrating through your nervous system,
Stay with it and now you can come back to the technique,
So open your mouth nice and wide,
Inhaling through the mouth,
Exhaling through the mouth,
As we enter our last and final round,
Allow the body to absorb this information fully,
Notice how the body feels now,
More present,
More grounded,
More coherent,
Every breath a little bit deeper,
A little bit fuller,
Inhaling through the mouth,
Exhaling through the mouth,
Notice how familiar this breath feels now,
Your body has learnt it,
It recognizes the pattern,
It trusts it,
As the breath continues feel how present you are,
Not spaced out,
Not floating away here in your body in this moment,
This round is about embodiment,
Not understanding alignment,
Not thinking about alignment,
But living it from the inside out,
Bring your awareness to the whole body now,
The body is not something you use,
It is something you are,
As you breathe notice the quality of energy moving through you,
There is more coherence now,
More steadiness,
More availability,
This is what alignment feels like when it is embodied,
Clear,
Stable,
Honest,
Keep breathing,
Stay with the technique,
Don't give up yet,
We are nearly done,
This is your nervous system aligning with your truth,
As the breath continues gently bring to your mind your yes,
Not a forced yes,
Your real yes,
The yes that feels like expansion,
The yes that feels like relief,
The yes that feels like coming home to yourself,
You do not need to define it perfectly,
Just let the body recognize it,
Notice how your body responds when you hold this yes in awareness,
Does the breath deepen,
Does the chest soften,
This is the body saying this is aligned,
Stay with the breath,
As you breathe allow this yes to spread through your body,
Let it move into every cell of your body now,
This is embodiment,
The alignment is not something you choose or chase,
It is something your body settles into when you stop overriding it,
Each breath reinforces the state,
Each breath strengthens a natural pathway of self-trust,
Each breath teaches your system that it is safe to choose what is true,
You are not abandoning anything by choosing alignment,
You are choosing yourself,
As this round deepens feel the sense of ownership growing inside you,
Ownership of your choices,
Ownership of your direction,
Ownership of your inner authority,
This is clarity,
Keep breathing in through the mouth,
Out through the mouth,
In through the mouth,
Out through the mouth,
Make it deep,
Make it full,
Don't give up yet,
We are coming up to the last breath hold,
Stay with it,
Lean in,
You've got this,
This is where alignment locks in,
Not as an idea but as a lived state,
Stay connected,
Okay on your next breath,
Take a deep inhale through the mouth,
Fill the lungs fully,
Then exhale fully,
Empty the lungs and hold the breath out,
Remain here,
Feel the stillness,
This is presence without movement,
Notice how your body holds your yes,
Notice where it lives,
Ask yourself what does alignment feel like in my body right now and let the sensation answer,
If at any point you need some air,
Take a small inhale,
Exhale fully and return to the hold,
Your body is integrating,
Beautiful,
When you are ready take a slow inhale through the mouth,
Hold it at the top and a long steady exhale,
Let the breath return,
Allow the breath to soften now,
Close your mouth and just bring your breathing back to nasal breathing and through your nose,
Out through your nose,
Just feel it and feel your belly soften,
Still present,
Still connected,
Let the inhale arrive naturally and let the exhale release slowly,
Feel how the body responds when it's allowed to settle,
Feel the nervous system reorganizing the work it's just done,
Take a moment to feel the alignment you've cultivated,
Feel it deeply in your cells,
Feel it moving gently through your body like a quiet current,
Stay with the sensation,
Let yourself really feel what it feels like to be in your body,
This alignment lives inside you now,
Allow awareness to move slowly through the body,
Notice the rhythm here,
Notice how safe it feels to breathe without control,
You are here,
You are present,
You are embodied,
Take a few more moments to just simply rest in this state,
Not trying to do anything with it,
Not trying to analyze it,
Just allowing your nervous system to absorb what has shifted,
This is integration,
This is where your body learns that alignment is sustainable,
That truth can be lived,
That presence can be carried,
Notice how different this feels from when you began,
Notice the clarity,
Notice the sense of being at peace,
Take one more beautiful big inhale through the nose and a beautiful exhale out the mouth,
Now I invite you to just bring some gentle movement into the body,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Move your wrists and ankles,
And if it feels right you can gently draw the knees in towards your chest and give yourself a beautiful hug or stretch your arms overhead and take a beautiful stretch,
Move in the way your body asks,
There's no rush,
As you come back keep a part of your awareness inside,
Notice how you feel as you move,
Notice how the body stays present,
Take one final big deep inhale,
Hold it at the top and release slowly,
Let everything settle,
Carry this feeling with you,
Carry this alignment with you,
Carry this connection to your body with you,
You are loved unconditionally,
You are worthy,
You are powerful,

I see you,
I feel you,
I honour you,
