Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.

Today's meditation will focus on self-love and finding our divine purpose.

We will begin in either a seated position or lying down on the ground,

Back flat.

If you are seated,

Find a cushion or if your hips are open,

Allow the knees to splay out away from the hips.

If you're on the cushion,

Let the knees angle down towards the ground,

Pelvis tilted ever so slightly forward,

Sitting just on the edge of your cushion so that the lumbar spine can find its natural curvature.

You can broaden the shoulders,

Allowing the sternum to reach forward ever so slightly.

Bring the shoulder blades down the back.

Allow the shoulders to fall away from the ears before just relaxing them.

If it's comfortable,

Tuck the elbows into the waistline and allow the palms to face upwards.

We're beginning our practice just centering in,

Finding our comfortable position.

If we're lying down,

Allow the arms to be a little bit away from the body.

Allow the feet to splay out.

Tuck the shoulder blades closer to the ground so that the back is entirely flat.

And maybe bring the jaw just a tad bit towards the neck so that the cervical spine is elongated on the backside of the body.

We will begin our meditation once we have found our comfortable posture by just breathing.

Tuning in,

Maybe noticing if the breath is stuck anywhere,

If we have any tension or anxiety.

If the breath is stuck in the chest,

Can we draw it down further to the lower lobes of the lungs before we release it?

Using the breath to move the tension,

To release the tension,

To move the emotional distress,

To release the emotional distress.

Finding stillness and calmness within the body,

Within the mind,

And maybe even within the spirit.

Breathing deeply,

Not necessarily changing the breath,

Only using the breath as a tool to cultivate an environment of peace.

If any thoughts are popping up,

As they will,

Allow them to exist as they are.

And then as you exhale,

Allow them to float away with the breath,

Trailing off into the distance.

Using the breath to quiet the mind,

To center in,

To relax.

Now remembering the purpose of this meditation to cultivate self-love,

To connect to divine purpose.

You are invited to draw one hand over your heart,

Or to just leave the palms upward facing,

Resting on the floor or your knees.

Continuing to stay with the breath.

If you have placed a hand over your heart,

Allow it to begin to connect with the heart chakra,

With the body.

Maybe you begin to feel warmth or a tingling sensation associated.

I am love.

I am enough.

I am powerful and strong.

Allow an environment of self-love to envelop you,

To wrap you in joy and harmony.

Allow your own mantra to bubble up from within.

Keep it simple,

Keep it short.

And as you inhale,

Draw in the power of your mantra.

And as you exhale,

Feel free to repeat it verbally or internally in your mind's eye.

I am love.

I am strong and powerful.

I am enough.

Continue this mantra meditation for a few moments in stillness.

I am love.

I am enough.

I am strong.

I am powerful.

At the bottom of your next exhale,

Allow the palm to release,

Either back to the ground or to the knee,

Palm facing upward,

Maintaining the intention that energy may flow freely within and around us.

Take a deep inhale.

Hold one,

Two,

Three,

And release it gently.

Tune in and notice if anything has changed around you.

Maybe you notice that envelope of love is still around.

Maybe in your mind's eye it's even glowing.

Sense into this energy.

How does it feel?

Is it warm or cool?

Does it have a color?

Or is it bright white?

Do you hear any sounds in the space around you?

Sensing into the body,

Allowing the mind's eye to guide us from an environment of self-love in the space when we are connected to divinity,

When we are one with divinity.

It is in that space where we can ask,

What is my purpose?

Why am I here today,

This moment?

Take a moment of deep breathing to allow the answers to come naturally,

Trusting your intuition,

Trusting that your mind's eye will know the difference between your divine purpose and the egoic mind.

What is my purpose today?

Once you have an answer,

Whatever that may be,

Ask yourself,

How do I get there today?

What steps should I take?

Maybe it's something as simple as,

I need to unload the dishwasher today.

So you go to the kitchen and you open the dishwasher and you put them away one by one.

Maybe you are ready to start your own business and have been hesitant on forming a plan.

Maybe today you start with a pen and a piece of paper and you write a list.

Whatever your divine purpose is today,

Ask yourself,

What can I do today to carry me towards that divine purpose?

The answers will come.

Taking another moment to return to the breath.

First,

Inhaling and exhaling.

Taking a moment of gratitude and joy to your inner guide,

The divinity within you that has provided you with love that envelops you and direction a compass towards your truest purpose.

Thank you.

Maybe you smile,

Allowing the corners of the mouth point upwards just a little bit.

Allow the breath to deepen.

Allow the breath to bring you back.

Back into your body.

Sensing into the space around you again.

Feeling what has changed.

Noticing any sounds.

Envisioning the room you are in or the outdoor space.

Before allowing the breath to deepen so greatly that the power,

The life that it brings into your body energizes and invigorates you and maybe inspires you to follow your divine purpose in love and creativity.

Fluttering the eyes open when you are ready,

Taking your time.

Knowing that you are love,

You are enough.

You are ready to take steps towards your divine purpose.

Thank you so much for sharing your practice with me today.

It was an honor and joy.

I hope you feel as you go out from here.

Stay.
