Hello,

Thank you for joining me today for this meditation for pregnant women in all trimester.

You have taken the choice to find some relaxation.

Congratulate yourself.

It's so important to have moment of relaxation during your pregnancy.

In this way,

You influence your baby to know what relaxation is.

So in some way,

It's one of the first teachings you give to your little one.

With that in mind,

Find a comfortable position.

It could be sitting on a little pillow.

It could be sitting on your couch with your feet well planted on the ground and a pillow behind your back.

It could be laying down on the side of your favor right now with a pillow under your head and maybe a pillow over between your legs.

Let's settle here with a couple of breaths.

Inhaling through your nose and maybe exhaling with first sleep for a little while.

As if you were blowing dust.

Inhale and exhale.

Letting go of air.

Let's do a few more.

If the place you're in feels safe,

Please close your eyes.

However,

If you're in a public space or there is a lot going on around you,

Feel free to keep your eyes a little bit open.

Just gaze in the surrounding without really paying attention fully to what's going on.

Just enough like a cat will do during a nap.

Let's connect with your breath,

With your body.

Maybe the little baby inside is moving and you can feel it.

Maybe it's a little early for that and you imagine the baby moving and floating in there.

What a nice place to be inside a tummy.

Feeling your warmth,

Hearing your heartbeat,

Eating your food and receiving your air.

All the oxygen you take is also going to our little one.

So imagine your little one there,

Well at ease,

Calm and tranquil or getting a little excited because you're becoming calmer and tranquil.

Sometimes babies do that.

For the next few moments,

I would like us to focus on sounds.

Your baby does hear things but your hear differently.

Focusing in sounds is an anchor in meditation that allow you to let go of thinking and stressing and just be present.

So we'll play with that.

I invite you to first pay attention to the sound of my bell.

So beginning and the end.

And then invite any sound from your surrounding,

From your breath to any sound in the room you're in.

And the building behind the street.

Notice if those sounds are far away or really close to you.

Notice if those sounds are pleasant to the ear or pretty disturbing.

But allow your mind to come back to listening to sound if it drifts away.

Sometimes we think,

We think,

We think and we forget.

I invite you to just pay attention to sound as if you were in conversation.

Let's do this a little longer.

Maybe your baby is also reacting to some sounds.

You may have noticed when certain persons speak,

The baby may stop moving or may start kicking.

I have such a connection right now.

How nice is that?

In a moment I'll ring the bell.

It will be the sign of the ending.

Please listen to that bell.

Thank you so much for taking the time to sit and meditate or lay down and meditate.

It's such an important part of your preparation to motherhood.

Thank you.
