
Deep Healing For Challenging Times
Drop into a deeply healing rest for your mind and body. This meditation will comfort and soothe you in challenging times. It will help to ease anxiety and aid in dropping into a peaceful sleep. This is a live class recorded on September 23rd of 2021.

So thank you for being here this evening guys.
I just want to take a moment or two to really feel the essence of each and every being that's here because although we aren't in the same physical space together,
When we drop into simply being,
We meet on a deeper level than all the stories and all the noise and all the busyness.
There's a true meeting and I'm beginning to feel that coming together,
The intention that we all have to go within.
And let's take a really deep releasing breath together to mark the transition that we're going to be making.
So inhaling right down into your belly and maybe hunching your shoulders right up to your ears and then just let your body go.
And then in your own time,
As the energies of your mind and body begin to settle down naturally,
Let's just breathe together,
Taking a few of those really slow,
Really low releasing breaths.
And really take your time,
Slowing your breath right down and really feeling your breath and just let the weight of your whole body fall into the support beneath.
Feel where your body makes contact with that support and completely surrender the weight of your whole body to that contact.
And check that your breath is going really low,
Right down into your belly like you're filling up a balloon in your abdomen.
And then just give the exhalation away with a lovely long and soft sigh.
I invite you this evening to really give yourself a break from the whole world and everything in it.
We're not asking any of that to go away or to be different,
But we're just dropping beneath before.
And do take a few of these slow and low breaths because they will send a signal to your mind body system that we are in a really safe space here together.
The space of just being that has already said yes to body just like this,
However it feels,
Whatever condition may be present to mind just like this,
Whatever it's doing and yes to world however it is,
Just let yourself drop into the very welcoming,
The very simple and completely effortless space of just being.
And all that's being asked of you right now in this moment is to really feel your breath and to let your body instinctively take as many of those slow and low breaths as it needs to give it all up,
To hand everything over,
Giving up all the trying,
The controlling and the managing and let yourself just be here,
Not thinking about your breath,
But can you feel the very subtle movement of your breath,
Just quietly noticing the feeling in the inner passageways of your nostrils,
Perhaps that whisper of breath on the upper lip as the breath comes in and as the breath leaves and without trying to find anything just let that feeling come to you.
And with every exhalation just let the whole story of your life,
Past or future,
Fall away and any time it comes back just let it drop away again in that moment that you notice that you're back in the story,
You have a choice,
A choice appears,
Some space appears and just let yourself fall right back again,
Noticing the parts of your body that naturally move as it breathes and whenever you're ready just let your breath be natural,
No need to control your breath,
But see if you can stay with the very simple experience,
Body,
Breathing and however you feel tonight,
Whatever mood is present,
See if you can let that be okay,
You don't have to feel any particular way,
Everything is welcome here,
You are welcome exactly as you are,
Feel the relief of not having to wait for either your inner or your outer environment to be a particular way,
Feel the relief of having full permission right now to just let go of all the trying to get anywhere different,
It's too much effort now to control your mind and even try to stop thinking,
Just letting everything be free,
Just body,
Breathing and feel where your head meets the pillow,
Just that plane of contact where your head meets the pillow and just let the weight of your whole head melt into that support and remember that even as your body slips into the sweetest,
Most healing rest,
That awareness remains and that you can come back to that in any moment,
So just let your body drop like a pebble,
Dropping into a pond and landing in the earth,
Coming home,
Nestling into its home,
Coming home to presence,
Surrender this body and all that's being held to presence,
Let your body suffer,
Feel the inside of the mouth,
Tongue resting in the mouth,
The inner walls of the mouth,
Just the feeling,
The natural fluid inside the mouth and the natural taste inside the mouth,
Just a direct experience,
A direct meeting,
Taste inside the mouth,
The root of the tongue softening and the throat settling down naturally,
Just let the hinges of your jaw loosen,
The lower jaw surrendering to gravity,
The skin releasing its weight,
None of this needs to be done,
Just let everything be done for you,
Just words arising,
Body responding and awareness noticing,
That awareness is completely effortless,
You don't need to try,
Let your eyes rest right back into the sockets and let the whole area around and behind eyes soften,
The temples,
The eyebrows,
The space between eyebrows resting open and welcome the sensation behind eyes,
Let that come to you,
The sensation behind eyes,
Just whatever's there right now,
So let that sensation be free and allow it to unfold and unravel in awareness,
The nerve connecting back of your eyes to brain,
Releasing and letting go and the brain dropping into a deep rest with nothing that needs to be figured out,
Nothing to analyse,
No meaning to be sought,
Nothing to work out,
It's enough right now just to be here,
Back of the head,
Base of the skull,
Shoulders emptying out,
You're aware,
You are present and conscious,
Right now in this moment even her body rests so deeply,
You are that very awareness that is here right now and welcoming the simple experience whole right arm and give up the weight,
Whole right arm,
You don't need to imagine it,
Just being with the immediate experience,
Back of right arm,
A direct meeting,
Whole right hand,
Not the memory,
Not the image but the actual experience,
Right hand,
Let that come to you,
Palm of right hand,
Give it time,
There's all the time in the world,
No hurry,
Palm of right hand,
Whatever's there right now you cannot get this wrong,
Thumb,
Second finger,
Third,
Fourth,
Little finger,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Just giving up the weight,
See if you can stay right here,
Right now,
Anytime you leave,
Whether it is getting lost in your thinking mind,
Checking out,
Numbing out whatever it might be in the moment that you notice,
Just come right back and see if you can be with the simple experience,
Whole left arm,
Just handing over the weight,
Whole right arm,
Left arm,
Nothing to wait for,
Just whatever's there right now,
That is enough,
Back of left arm,
Whole left hand,
The direct feeling,
If you knew nothing about left hand,
How do you know that it's there right now,
The current feeling,
Palm of left hand,
Let it come to you and allow the sensation to be free,
Thumb,
Second finger,
Third,
Fourth,
Little finger,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Whole left arm,
Just handing over the weight,
Whole left arm,
You are present as an effortless presence,
As an eternal,
Infinite being that can never leave you,
Whole right side of chest,
Whole left side of chest,
Not one thought is needed right now,
Not one,
Heart beating,
Right side of your back,
Left side of back,
A softening deep down in the belly,
Really safe,
Really really safe,
Just to give up all the holding,
Nothing to hold,
Hips releasing their weight,
The whole right leg,
The whole right leg,
Just the immediate feeling,
Whole right leg,
See if you can really be here,
Giving yourself fully to the simple experience,
Whole right leg,
Comfortable or uncomfortable,
Just the actual feeling right now,
Soul of right foot,
Just gently coming back any time you leave,
Soul of right foot,
Let the experience whole left leg come to you,
Whole left leg,
Just giving up the weight,
The bones surrendering to gravity,
Soul of left foot,
The whole body,
The experience of the whole body in this moment,
Just as it is,
The current sensation body,
Just take a moment to scan your body from head to toe,
Shining the light of your awareness on any areas of holding,
Gripping or bracing,
And let's invite the body to know that it's safe to just give it all up,
And to let your body soften,
Maybe just a little more,
Feel the aliveness of your whole body,
Whole body alive,
Pulsating as heart beats,
Waves of vibration coursing through this body,
The body and experience in you,
A naturally aware and awake presence,
The body,
Just a cloud of sensation,
Appearing in you,
Just a cloud of sensation,
In you,
A wide open,
Unbound,
Aware being,
See if you can stay right here,
Right now,
Let your body empty out of all that's not needed,
And right now,
Check,
That there is no doing happening,
There is absolutely nothing to do,
Let yourself just be here,
Giving up that last bit of trying or holding,
And let's fall into the mystery of simply being together,
Just let yourself drop into the compassionate,
Effortlessly welcoming space of just being,
Where every feeling,
Thought,
Sound,
Sensation is fully welcome,
Let's just enjoy being here together,
In our shared space of awareness,
And let yourself just forgive yourself instantly,
Anytime you leave,
And just come right back,
Honouring our commitment to meeting the content of awareness fully,
Whilst we rest as that very awareness,
Leaving the content alone,
Just being with it fully,
Without any commentary,
Without any agenda,
Without any doing,
Just being.

A wide open awareness The experience body,
Feeling the aliveness,
The sensation in the palms of hands,
The breath coming in and the breath going out Let's invite the breath to deepen again,
Really taking your time and letting that breath go right down into your belly Let's just enjoy the simple pleasure of just lying here quietly and breathing and let your body receive that gift deep into your belly and wide into your chest Feeling the movement of your breath like a long slow drink quenching every cell of this body Really embodied,
Safe to be here fully,
To feel fully Every sensation,
Every feeling and as you continue to take those slow and low breaths I'm holding in my heart the knowing of who you are before you are anything,
Before you are anyone,
Before all the beliefs,
All the stories,
A magnificent being,
Unlimited,
Undivided And we're here to bring each other home,
Each of us leading the other home to that remembering,
To that recognition of the incredible beauty,
Love and peace that you are at the core of your being,
That can never be taken away from you And as you breathe slowly and deeply,
Breathe that in,
An eternal,
Infinite being,
Eternally awake,
Even as body sleeps Move yourself to that fully and as you receive that nourishment,
The air that we breathe,
Loaded with that fresh life force energy Let's take a moment to check in,
What wants to emerge from your deepest being,
From your ground,
Of presence,
What does your heart long for and what wants to drop away Because your willingness is enough to meet whatever is ready to drop away Your sincerity,
Your commitment and your willingness is enough and life will take care of the rest What wants to emerge from the love within your heart,
What gets in the way,
What old beliefs,
Outdated stories,
Feelings that for whatever reason we couldn't fully feel at the time Let's meet it all,
Meet it all,
Welcoming it all in,
Let it all come home Feel the movement of your breath,
Freely given,
Here in abundance Checking in with your body,
There's always a deeper layer that can be released and there's no end to the depths that you can drop into the mystery that you are Feel your whole body,
The beating of your heart,
Feel the plane of contact where your body meets the support beneath Let your body be held,
Body so grateful,
So just be relieved just for now from all the stories Check in with what your body needs right now,
Trusting this highly intelligent body that perhaps wants to rest a little longer,
Maybe your body is ready to move and just let your body do whatever it needs to now Staying anchored in your ground of being Letting your body move in whatever way just feels good and as it all comes back as the content of awareness gets a little louder,
Don't lose yourself fully to that,
Just keeping some attention on the field of awareness itself Thank you friends I'm just feeling the essence of each and every being that is here and I want to thank you for showing up,
For bringing your full presence and for taking time out to just remind ourselves of the truth that is before,
All the fear,
The stories,
All the stuff that's going on and trusting that all is well and the more that we retreat to this knowing of our own being,
The more that we feel and sense that all is well,
That life is taking care of itself and that there will always be a loving,
Intelligent response to whatever presents itself in the moment if we really stay anchored right here,

Thank you so much for uploading this divinely inspired meditation. For me I found it quite challenging as during the prayer for life I felt that I have to totally get rid of all forms of fear and compromise in my life, that me heart centre wants to implement this courage. You have helped me so much during these times. I don't know where I would be without your work. I hope I can thank you with the way I live my life. I loved the music too.
