Welcome to this meditation for acceptance and inner peace.

Take a moment now to find a comfortable position and when you are ready gently close your eyes.

Breathing in deeply and exhaling as you allow your entire body to relax.

Allowing yourself to be just as you are.

There is a saying that says,

What you resist persists.

The more we resist the more tension and suffering we create inside ourselves.

It becomes more difficult to flow with life and to adapt in times of uncertainty or change.

This meditation practice is focused on accepting what is and letting go of any resistance that you may have to your current circumstances.

Acceptance allows us to relinquish control.

And to release the tension that comes with pushing up against that which you cannot change.

Take a moment now to reflect.

What do I need to let go of today?

What am I holding onto that is no longer serving me?

Take one full deep breath in here and as you exhale release and let go of what you no longer need to hold onto.

Feel your entire body lighten and soften with every exhalation.

In this moment you are peaceful.

You are exactly where you should be.

You embrace this moment and surrender to what is.

With every exhalation you release even more and you feel lighter.

Acceptance does not mean giving in or giving up.

It simply means that you are able to greet your circumstances from a place of openness and calm.

And from here you can choose a response or an action that moves you forward.

Life is a practice of constantly letting go.

Continue to breathe in deeply and with every exhalation you are shedding layers.

Releasing anything that is weighing you down.

And you are creating lightness and spaciousness within.

Perhaps setting a gentle intention now to take the learnings from this practice into your day and into the rest of your life.

When you are ready start to bring movement back to the body.

Awareness back to the space that you are in.

When you are ready you can gently open your eyes.

Wishing you a calm and peaceful day ahead.
