Welcome to this guided mindful meditation session on being still.

By achieving stillness we can increase our mindfulness.

Make yourself comfortable either seated or lying down.

And let's begin.

Allow yourself to relax by taking two slow deep breaths.

Just notice the rise and fall of the chest and stomach.

And now take your awareness inside of your body.

And now take your awareness inside of your body.

Simply observe and notice what is true for you in this moment.

I invite you to breathe into your heart space and keep your awareness here.

Breathe in.

And breathe out.

And breathe out.

And breathe out.

Notice how your heart space expands as you experience inner stillness.

Simply notice that as you breathe and remain focused on your breath you easily achieve stillness and inner quiet.

Take two more deep breaths.

And breathe out.

And as you stay with your breath just notice how your breath moves easily through your body.

Notice where there's any activity or unsettled feelings.

Allow your breath to shift into the areas of anxiety or discomfort.

And then breathe deeply.

Notice how your expanded chest falls as the air is released on the exhale.

Take a few moments now to simply stay with your breath.

Notice the quiet and stillness that's growing inside of you.

And simply allow any emotions that come up at this time to pass in their own time.

And take two slow deep breaths.

And breathe out.

And breathe out.

We often find that the most difficult thing to do is remain in the present moment and achieve stillness.

Keep breathing slowly and deeply.

Whenever thoughts or feelings come up simply observe them,

Pay reverence and allow them to pass.

Keep being detached and return to your breath.

Take two more deep breaths.

And in your own time you can end this meditation allowing your consciousness to return back to your present day.

Take two more deep breaths.

I liked this meditation. It kept me focus on the breath and I enjoyed the music, which was very different from others. Thank you.
