This meditation is a soft return to yourself, a place to rest when you’ve been trying too hard to find clarity, peace, or answers. Here, you will be gently guided to follow the rhythm of your breath, the quiet conversation between inhale and exhale, until it all begins to feel like one continuous flow. It’s an invitation to trust the wisdom that breathes you, to know that even when you stop searching, life continues to guide you home. Return to this meditation whenever your mind feels restless, when you’re seeking direction, or when you just need to remember that clarity comes not from forcing, but from allowing. This meditation was recorded during one of the live events on Insight Timer. If you found this meditation helpful, you can support my work through a small donation.

Hello wonderful being,

Thank you for choosing me to be your guide today.

So begin by settling into a comfortable position.

It can be either sitting,

Standing or lying down,

Whatever your body needs right now.

Becoming aware of your body in this space.

Now if you are comfortable,

I invite you to either close your eyes or to lower your gaze just to limit visual distractions,

Turning our attention inward.

Now become aware of your breathing,

Noticing the air move into your body and out of your body.

Continue to notice your breathing without feeling any need to change it in any manner.

You are breathing just fine and each breath is providing you with whatever you need right now.

If your mind begin to wander,

That's perfectly okay,

It's the nature of your mind.

So whenever you notice it wander,

Again bring your attention to your breathing.

Noticing the air move in and out.

Keep your attention on your breath.

As you continue to notice your breath,

Can you also notice how your in-breath is melting into your out-breath and then your out-breath is becoming one with your in-breath.

Noticing this cycle.

You don't have to force anything or concentrate too hard.

All you have to do is just bring your awareness to the cycle that is already happening.

Your in-breath merging with the out-breath and your out-breath becoming one with the in-breath.

Becoming one with this flow of breath.

Again,

If your mind wanders,

That's perfectly fine.

All you have to do is make this breath a part of your awareness again.

Continuing to notice the breath moving in and out.

Moodily flowing into each other.

The inhale becoming the exhale and the exhale leading to the inhale.

Now,

Imagine that each time you inhale,

You are making space for the divine,

For guidance or clarity.

So,

As you inhale,

Making space for something that would enhance your life.

And as you exhale,

Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

Inhaling and making space.

Exhaling and letting go.

You are doing good.

Continue breathing in this manner.

Inhaling,

Making space and exhaling,

Letting go.

And now,

If you feel ready,

Begin to become aware of your whole body.

Sensing yourself present in this body.

If you feel like you can wiggle your fingers or your toes,

Feeling your body.

And now,

Whenever you feel ready,

You can gently open your eyes.

And become aware of being here in this space.

Thank you for listening and I will see you soon.

Bye-bye.

Take care.
