Meditation for managing time.

This meditation is designed to help you cope with the stresses you feel as a result of time pressures.

I want you to begin by finding a really,

Really comfortable position.

And when you've found that position,

Just take a few moments to relax into it.

Let go of all the stresses,

The strains,

The struggle that you've come to this meditation carrying.

And just find a position where you can relax.

And let your attention and your focus drop into your belly.

Watch what happens as your belly rises and expands with every focused breath that you take.

Lift your attention slightly to your diaphragm,

Noticing what happens to this core muscle as you breathe in.

And in your own time,

You breathe out.

Notice what happens as you breathe within your chest,

Right up to your shoulders,

And any tension that you carry there.

How does the breath affect that tension that you carry in your shoulders?

Let the breath wash through any tension you're holding.

Breathe it in and breathe out all the tension.

And relax.

In this busy,

Modern world,

It's easy to feel pressured and stressed and pushed for time.

I want you to realise that in any moment you can let go of that feeling of pressure.

And that when you let it go,

You are able to move through life without rushing and with ease,

So that you create more expansion for yourself.

Keep breathing.

Deeply relax.

Relax.

And let it all go.

Often when we are stressed,

It creates more tension in our bodies,

Which means we then don't think clearly.

And our actions and decision-making is inhibited.

The more you can allow yourself to relax in moments of tension and under moments of pressure,

The more time you will feel yourself to have.

It might be that you still arrive late or don't get the job done,

But the focus and attention that you allow to have in your body will be much more relaxed,

Calm and at ease.

Your mind's focus will be so much better for working out the correct steps to do what has to happen next.

Taking away the pressure and allowing flow and ease.

My voice is going to go quiet for a few moments while you breathe in and out,

Aware of letting this tension out of your body.

As you breathe.

And when you are ready,

Notice that you can return to your body and return to awareness,

Tapping this state of relaxation and calm.

You do not have to gather this tension and stress that you used to carry back into your body.

You can choose to go through your life,

Tapping in to this greater sense of relaxation.

And when you're ready,

Start to wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Bringing attention and focus back to your wakeful state.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Wonderful meditation. It really helped me calm my mind and body from the busyness of my day. I was able to slow down and get ready for bed.
