Hello everyone.

Welcome to this short relaxation meditation.

Throughout this session,

We'll be inviting in a sense of peace and calm into the mind and into the body.

Just focusing on allowing and letting go and moving towards a more relaxed state.

So before we begin,

I'd first like you to find a quiet and comfortable space.

Somewhere where you won't be disturbed during this practice.

You can either sit or lie down.

You can lean against a wall or chair or even stand up if that's resonant for you.

No matter what you choose,

Just take note that this is your time,

Your space,

Your opportunity to give yourself what feels most supportive.

And when you're ready,

I'll invite you to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Breathing in,

Inviting in,

Lengthen your spine and breathing out.

Letting go of any rigidity that may be present.

Allow yourself to feel the weight of your body sinking into the surface beneath you.

Letting go of any tension in your muscles,

Starting from your toes,

Moving up through your legs and all the way to the top of your head.

Letting your body be both soft and open.

Breathing in,

Relaxation.

Breathing out,

Inviting a sense of peace over the body.

Bring an awareness to the pressure or the weight of the body.

Letting go of any tension,

Allowing yourself to feel grounded.

Maybe placing one or both hands over the belly,

Feeling into the rising of the breath on the inhale and the falling of the breath on the exhale.

And as we end this meditation,

Just take a moment to express gratitude towards yourself for taking the time to show up and practice.

Knowing that in any moment you can always reconnect to the body and reconnect to the breath as a way to create space in your life.

And when you're ready,

You can gently open your eyes,

Bring some subtle movement back to your body.

Maybe take a stretch.

And just let yourself slowly reconnect to your surroundings.

Going about the rest of your day with more ease and peace.

Thank you for sharing your practice with me and until next time,

Be well.
