Welcome,

Meditators,

To this affirmation meditation meant to empower you and instill in you the pride and confidence that guess what?

You're still here.

You know,

This year has been something else.

And sometimes I catch myself looking around thinking,

How did I even get here?

If that's you,

You are definitely in the right place.

So let's start by finding a comfortable seat.

And taking a moment to check in with the spine.

The posture in this meditation is incredibly important.

So making sure that you're sitting up nice and straight.

Think about how you would sit if you're feeling really proud of yourself.

Draw your shoulders up,

Down and back.

Find a gentle lift in your heart and your chin that says,

I'm here.

This is to take up a little bit of space.

Let's start by taking a gentle breath in and out.

And I invite you to either repeat this meditation in your mind or out loud with me to really allow the words to land in the body and soul.

Let's begin.

I am here.

These times,

Life has tried to knock me down and yet I'm still here.

Life has thrown me tragedy.

It's thrown me trauma.

I've fumbled.

I've fallen.

I've messed up and maybe even failed.

And here I am.

I am still here.

I am stronger because of what I've experienced.

I am more resilient than ever before.

I am more confident,

More proud of the person I've become.

I am still here.

I've learned that life is full of pleasant and unpleasant surprises.

There have been times when I've thought,

There's no way I'll get through this.

This is too hard.

I'm too weak.

I'm just not strong enough.

And look,

I'm still here.

I am choosing to still be here,

Anchored into my strength.

I am choosing to triumph over my setbacks.

Life can try to take me down.

People can be cruel.

And yet here I sit.

I know my value.

I know my truth.

I know my worth.

I know my strength.

I am empowered.

I am still here.

I am still here.

I am still here.

Perfect! Be like a big redwood tree! That does not bend in the storm! No matter how windy or cold or hot it is the big redwood tree just โ€œisโ€.
