Welcome meditators and thank you so much for being here with me today and meditating.
This meditation is for the amazing resilient human beings who are holding mental,
Emotional,
Spiritual and often times physical space for those around them.
This meditation is for the strong ones.
You know who you are.
This meditation is also a reminder that you deserve the same attention,
Love and compassion you extend to the people in your life.
Maybe you are someone who has found themselves in the helping profession or maybe you are a caretaker by nature.
Whatever your unique circumstance,
Today give yourself the time,
Space and energy you so generously offer others.
As the strong ones,
We can often feel like we are caught between a strong mind and a fragile heart,
Able to overcome and power through difficult situations yet tender under the surface.
You too deserve tending to.
For this meditation,
I highly recommend you lie down if it is available to you.
Feel free to sprawl out,
To take up space,
Arms and legs out nice and wide with the palms face up.
As you make your way into this comfortable position,
Allow every muscle to relax and to soften.
With each inhale and exhale,
Every fiber,
Every cell becomes more open and infused with more ease.
Expecting to connect with the breath here.
Noticing that subtle rise and fall of the chest as you inhale and exhale.
Allowing the breath to breathe you,
Breathing life and energy into your body.
Take a nice big inhale right here.
Feel the chest and the belly rise up toward the sky and exhale.
Let it go,
Letting your body melt down,
Relaxing even deeper.
Let's do that again.
Inhale breathing in through the nose all the way deep down into the belly.
Feel the belly rise up toward the sky and exhale.
Let it go.
Press the air out of the body.
One more time,
Biggest breath here,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing deeply into the belly.
Watch the belly rise and exhale,
Relaxing,
Releasing,
Letting go.
As you lay here fully supported by the floor,
Imagine yourself surrounded by a healing translucent white light.
Imagine this white light encompassing your entire body.
Seeing this white light to surround you in the essence of protection and healing.
Within this white light is love,
Compassion,
Understanding and generosity.
I know for us strong ones it's so easy to give these things,
To give love,
To give compassion,
To be generous with our time,
Our energy,
Our words.
Now is the time to offer that and receive that for yourself.
As you lay here,
Welcome in this love,
Allowing yourself to receive openly and with ease.
As you gently breathe here,
Even allowing this white light to breathe in through the nose to fill up the body,
Every single cell offering healing,
Love,
Compassion.
Starting to breathe,
Continuing to receive here.
Around any parts of you that need more healing,
That need more love.
In these next few minutes here,
Giving yourself permission to heal.
Giving yourself permission to rest.
Giving yourself permission to give back to yourself the love you're so willing to give others.
Breathing in that white light,
Breathing in healing,
Surrounded by this healing white energy.
As you continue to rest here in this beautiful,
Healing,
Loving white light,
Allow these words to settle into your soul.
You don't always need to be the strong one.
There is strength in rest.
There is strength in vulnerability.
There is strength in asking for help.
There is strength in love and in gentleness.
There is strength in being supported by the ones that you love.
And if it calls to you,
Feel free to repeat these words out loud or to yourself.
I allow myself to receive love.
I allow myself to receive support.
I allow myself to heal.
I can be strong and gentle.
I can be strong and protected.
I can be strong and honor my needs.
I am safe to lay down my strong shield if even for a moment.
I welcome love and support by myself and others.
Feeling this white energy,
This white bubble that you've been surrounded with.
Allow yourself to take that energy in,
Giving yourself permission to tap back into this whenever you need.
And as you make your way back into the awareness of the body and the room that you're in,
Feel free to reach the arms up and overhead,
Stretching the body in two directions,
Reaching through the fingertips,
Pointing through the toes,
Big body stretch.
And then slowly release and soften,
Blinking the eyes open when you feel ready.
I see you,
Strong one.
I am you.
I see your strength.
I see your resilience.
And I hold space for you today and every day to take care of your mind,
Body,
And soul just as you do for others.
May you come back to this meditation as often as you need.
Sending you all the love.
Namaste.
