Welcome Dear One,
Begin this meditation by getting into a comfortable,
Seated position.
Allow your spine to be tall and straight,
Shoulders rolled back slightly to open up your magnificent heart,
Your palms resting gently facing down in your laps.
And when you are ready,
Softly close your eyes.
Simply tune into your body and your breath.
As you breathe,
Give yourself the gift,
The gift of slowing down right now.
Give yourself permission to smile right now and going inwards,
Feeling your belly expand on every inbreath and contract on every outbreath.
Feeling the satisfaction of each inhale and each exhale.
May I be safe,
May I be peaceful,
May I be kind to myself.
Breathe and begin to take a moment to scan your awareness through the body.
Listen and breathe in divine stillness to your head,
Your face,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your hands,
Your chest,
Diaphragm,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
Leg,
Your knees,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
Leg,
Your feet,
And your toes.
Breathe in peace and stillness into your body.
As you breathe out,
Let go of any muscles you do not need to use right now.
Allowing the muscles in your face,
Your jaw,
Your body to be slack,
Loose,
And comfortable.
Allow your shoulders to drop down and be relaxed.
Where else can you relax more deeply?
Gently breathing and feel your body relaxing.
Breathe and follow the sensations of the air you are breathing.
Joyfully feel your inbreath,
Feel your outbreath.
If any moment your mind starts to wander,
That's okay.
Let go of your thoughts,
Let yourself off the hook of any distractions,
And simply return your attention to your body and your breath.
Notice your awareness moving inwards,
You start to become more aware of a sense of stillness that lives within.
Your stillness is not something to create from the outside,
It's already there within you.
Your divine stillness is just waiting for you to tap into it,
To tune your attention into it.
I will leave you for a few moments to simply feel and connect with this inner stillness.
I will leave you for a few moments to simply feel and connect with this inner stillness.
Now take a moment to appreciate yourself.
Today is a beautiful day,
I am grateful for my breath.
Thanking yourself for being here,
Forgiving yourself this moment of inner stillness.
Stay connected to this feeling throughout your day.
Now begin to roll your shoulders,
Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes to the world around you.
The stillness you need for your day is always there within you.
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
