Today's meditation and centering exercise is all about creating this sense of oneness,

Exploring this expansive thought pattern of not being an isolated being,

But part of a greater whole.

In celebration of Earth Day,

I felt that this was a beautiful centering exercise because as an aware being living out my human experience,

My spiritual self,

Living out this human existence,

I really live in awareness of being connected to all that is.

The air that I breathe is the same air they breathe in China,

The same air as they breathe in Brazil.

The water I drink,

Others drink,

In my community,

My city,

And so on and so forth.

And it comes from a larger source.

We are so interconnected.

And so today,

Let's center and really foster that interconnection and also know that we draw just like an inhale and an exhale,

We draw energy all around us and we play an important role in that exchange.

So I want to be the best aware,

Mindful,

Spiritual being that I can as I live out my human experience on Earth.

And if I worry,

Cancel,

Clear,

Delete,

I don't like the word worry,

If I concentrate on who I am,

How I show up in the world and be the best that I can be,

Then I can have a ripple effect on all of humanity.

But I need to start with myself.

So let's center ourselves,

Shall we?

Close the eyes,

Rest the eyes closed and just connect to the flow of your breath.

Feel the breath flow in,

Feel it flow out,

Don't alter it,

Just get into that zone.

Bring yourself present to here and now,

This moment in time and deliciously savor it.

Everything around you is not important right now.

The moment to be lived is here and now,

Centered,

Connected to your breath,

Tune out the world and just tune in to your own inner stillness.

Encourage the mind to really be focused on the flow of breath and release everything else.

Giving the mind something to do,

It's following that flow of breath in and out.

If the mind wanders off lovingly and compassionately,

Just steer it back.

The mind is designed to think and it's a great multitasker.

But place distance between you and those other thoughts and stay focused on just being in your stillness.

Really feel your connectedness starting just in that immediate space where you're seated.

Feel the breath as it flows in and you draw it in from that immediate space that you're holding.

Exhale and imagine letting go.

Any toxicities,

Anything that no longer serves,

Gladly exhaling out your body.

Drawing from source for your next inhale.

Holding space and awareness of your own inner surroundings.

That which is within yourself and outside yourself.

Feel the connectedness,

Then allow the mind to expand outside your own little space.

Whether it's your community,

Your city.

This exercise will continue to just go out,

Out,

Out.

But first start within yourself,

Within your own surrounding.

Move in to your community.

Feel the oneness.

Place that you choose to live or work,

Doing this at work.

And then the greater community of the town or the city that you live.

And the country or the state,

The republic.

Taking your time and then feeling that spaciousness and going outside your continent,

Globally.

And then going past that and seeing the earth as part of the cosmos,

All the planets.

Stay in silence and just expand and expand with each flow of breath and encouraging that mindset of full expanse of awareness.

Coming up into that higher realms of thinkingness and consciousness.

With each flow of breath losing sides and feeling yourself and the lightness that you are.

The particle vibrational entity that you are part of this vibration and collective consciousness.

Tune in.

From your heart center.

Feel this beacon of light and this vibration emanating from you.

Can you send love?

Can you send compassion?

First for yourself and then out.

Can you feel the connectedness to those in your community and then those in your city and your town and your state and your republic,

Your country and then globally?

And then as interplanetary beings.

Inside yourself and outside your own earthboundness.

Feel the expansiveness with each breath and feel the expansiveness at the heart center.

Telepathically can you imagine sending love and compassion for those all over the world?

In war torn countries and countries impacted by earthquakes.

Can you feel yourself connected to the cosmos?

To something you don't even understand possibly,

That collectiveness?

Can you send this energy from your wholeness at your heart center?

Can you send it to mother earth and all living beings that share this breath and water that we all consume?

Can you emanate peace,

Love,

Acceptance,

Contentment?

Can you choose it?

You feel your vibration emanating like this beacon of light.

Using that power of breath,

Own it,

Feel it,

Embrace it,

Choose it.

And before you open the eyes can you think of something that you can emanate and bring into your awareness to better,

To better serve your community,

Your country,

Your city,

Your earth.

And when you're ready,

Set into motion,

You are the master of every thought,

Set into motion that which you desire with thought and imagine filling your cells.

I want to choose peace so that when I open my eyes I choose to see out of a lens of peace whatever it may be.

Set it into motion with thought,

Emanate it like a fragrant perfume because your cells are owning it,

You're speaking to this vibrational being that you are,

This cellular being that you are.

When you're ready,

Gently open the eyes to a soft gaze and choose to see out of a lens of that which you desire.

Bring it forth into this present moment and live it and choose it here and now.

The spirit in me bows to the spirit in you.

I thank you for holding space with me here and now.

Namaste.
