Welcome,

Blissful being.

This is Barbara Botellotti with your Mindful Minute.

Before entering a difficult situation,

We all at times have faced a difficult conversation or stepped into a challenging situation,

And this can stir up our nerves and tension and cause worry.

So this meditation allows you to pause,

Breathe deeply,

And find your center before you take action or have that conversation.

It's perfect for moments before a tough meeting,

Emotional discussion,

Or any situation where you want to feel clear,

Confident,

And calm.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or standing,

And allow your feet to connect with the ground beneath you.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Bring one hand to your heart if that feels supportive,

And take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your belly and chest.

Then exhale fully through your mouth,

Letting go of tension or unease.

Repeat this three times at your own pace.

As you breathe,

Notice how your body responds.

Feel your shoulders begin to soften,

Your heartbeat gradually slowing,

And your mind becoming a little more spacious.

If you still sense your nerves or heart racing,

Allow yourself a few more deep breaths and patiently giving your body the message that you are safe and supported.

Now imagine yourself surrounded by a gentle field of calm and protection,

A soft,

Steady light that holds you no matter what lies ahead.

With every inhale,

Draw in courage and clarity.

With every exhale,

Release fear,

Doubt,

Or tension.

As your breath settles into a natural rhythm,

Silently affirm,

I am grounded.

I am centered.

I can meet this moment with grace.

Feel these words take root inside you,

Strengthening your presence.

I am grounded.

I am centered.

I can meet this moment with grace.

And when you step into a difficult conversation from this place of calm,

You are more able to choose your words with care and you're able to listen with compassion and respond rather than react.

I am grounded.

I am centered.

I can meet this moment with grace.

If you would like to extend this calming energy to the person or situation before you,

You can send this energy through your exhale.

Just imagine it flowing from your heart center,

Or I like to imagine that my higher self meets their higher self with the intention that we come together for a greater good.

You could mentally,

Emotionally,

And energetically infuse the situation with whatever intention serves the best for all involved.

And from this place,

Cooperation,

Resolution,

Solutions,

And even miracles unfold.

Take one last nourishing breath in and a full,

Steady breath out.

When you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes and move forward with clarity,

Strength,

And mindful presence.
