Good morning dear mamas-to-be and welcome to our affirmation meditation of the second trimester.
So as you know these are short meditations but I still invite you to sit upright and assume a comfortable seated position with a beautiful long spine and relaxed shoulders.
The hands can just rest somewhere on our laps and our head is in line with the spine,
The chin a little bit in maybe and the eyes are closed.
Let's take a moment to take three deep mindful breaths,
Maybe your first mindful breaths of the day.
So breathing in through the nose and out through the nose,
Elongating the exhale slightly and with each breath out relaxing the body.
And take a moment also to scan through your body today and notice if you're holding any tension anywhere which maybe you were not aware of until this very moment.
So notice any areas where tension is held,
See if you can just really softly gently nudge these places to release,
Just encouraging them to relax,
To let go.
And asking this question if any part of your body needs something in particular today,
Needs a little love,
A little attention,
A little massage maybe.
Is there any part of the body that is craving for something?
And listen if that's the case without thinking,
Judging,
Without letting the mind get involved,
Just let your body speak.
You can acknowledge these messages,
Keep them for later.
Let's begin our affirmations and now simply repeating silently for yourself these words,
These words these words,
These affirmations.
I listen to myself,
My inner wisdom and I give myself the care,
Love and nourishment I need.
I listen to myself,
My inner wisdom and I give myself the care,
Love and nourishment I need in this pregnancy.
I listen to myself,
My inner wisdom and I give myself the care,
Love and and I give myself the care,
Love and nourishment I need in this pregnancy.
Repeating these words mentally a few times more and feeling the depth of their meaning.
And I invite you to release these affirmations when you are ready to open your eyes again.
