Getting settled in your space.

You can close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Finding a position in your body that embodies dignity.

Chest rising toward the sky.

Shoulders down and back.

Your body affirming and radiating an attitude of presence.

I invite you to rub your hands together,

Noticing the feeling of skin to skin contact as you create friction and heat.

Now place your hands on your abdomen,

Transferring all of that energy you just created to the area of your body that does so much incredible work.

Can you breathe into it?

Witnessing the miracle that is your body.

Getting to know your body.

How it feels to just sit with your body.

What is your experience like when you acknowledge your body with softness?

Without the harsh tone of judgement,

Anger or frustration.

No matter how your body is presenting to you today,

In whichever shape,

Form,

Pain or aches.

Is it possible to send a sense of friendship to your body?

Perhaps finding kindness and softening to the parts of your body that you feel betray you.

Accepting your body just as it is today.

Placing your hands wherever they feel comfortable.

I invite you to breathe in and with your exhale,

Smile.

Allow yourself to notice how your body responds to your smile.

Do you notice a sense of warmth,

Softness or is your body resisting?

Just notice.

Repeating the following silently to yourself.

My body is my friend.

My body is powerful.

My body is good as it is.

My body deserves kindness.

I am one with my body.

Can we open to a sense of ease and playfulness with our body?

Can our body become our best ally rather than our greatest enemy?

An ally that is deserving of care and attention no matter how it shows up as today.

Can we carry this inner smile,

This warmth through the ups and downs that our body presents us with?

With nothing to fix,

Nothing to control,

Nothing to change.

Can we simply be with who we are today,

One breath at a time?

Taking a few moments now to simply be with your body,

Be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.

Take a few moments now to simply be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.

Take a few moments now to simply be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.

Take a few moments now to simply be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.

Take a few moments now to simply be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.

Take a few moments now to simply be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.

As we start to come out of this meditation,

I invite you to start to awaken your body,

Moving your fingers and toes.

You can start to roll your neck and invite gentle movement into your body.

When you are ready,

Slowly you can flutter your eyes open to embrace the remainder of your day.

Take a few moments now to simply be with your breath,

Be with your kindness and compassion to your experience now.
