Hello,

My name is Brenda Carey.

And I have the privilege to guide you through your journey to abundant energy.

And this talk and meditation is for you if you find yourself feeling so tired,

Maybe even exhausted.

Maybe you find yourself reaching for that next cup of coffee in the afternoon,

Or maybe a candy bar as a sugar boost to just get you through the day.

And so this healing journey that I guide you through will give you four different directions or natural paths to creating sustainable energy so that you feel more like you.

Now keep in mind,

This is an inward journey.

So if possible,

You'll need a fairly quiet place where you can focus inward.

Maybe have a journal and a pen nearby that's totally optional.

But allow yourself some sacred space to really dive deep.

Your body truly has its own innate wisdom.

And we are going to tap into that with these four directions.

This is your sacred path.

So let's begin.

Sit in a comfortable seat.

If possible,

Close the eyes down or a soft gaze just to reduce the visual stimulation.

Begin to breathe a little bit deeper,

Really be present come into this moment knowing that you are meant to be here to be as present as you can with each breath,

Every inhale and exhale.

Now we're going to start on our first direction.

And I call this planning your destination.

So often we talk about having an intention or a focus to our daily lives.

I'd like you for you for just this moment to ask yourself,

What are some limiting beliefs that are creating your reality?

Again,

You can journal this if you'd like.

What are some self limiting beliefs that are creating your reality?

So for example,

I'll give you a personal example of mine.

I was telling myself throughout the day,

I'm just so tired.

I just don't know if I'll have enough energy to get through the day.

And I would repeat this to myself over and over.

And it became this self fulfilling prophecy.

And it became a self limiting belief.

I just kept telling myself I wouldn't have enough energy to get through the day.

And universe said,

And so it is.

So what would it be for you?

What self limiting beliefs are you repeating throughout your day,

Even on a very subconscious level?

Is it that you will be tired?

That you don't have enough time to do the things that you want to?

That's oh well,

Just the way it is nothing you can do about it.

Continue to breathe deep.

And just notice what comes up,

If anything,

And if nothing does for right now,

That's okay.

Again,

Just holding sacred space being present for yourself.

Either jot down this self limiting belief,

Or just take a mental note.

And then the question that follows is,

What would you like to feel?

How would you like to feel throughout your day?

Give it one word or a short phrase.

Maybe it's energized.

Maybe it's vibrant.

But choose a word or maybe a couple of words that you can use as a mantra throughout your day.

I feel and fill in your destination feeling.

And this is where you become the co creator of your life.

When you declare what you truly desire from your heart.

I feel neither write it down,

Say it out loud,

Make your mental note.

And if you do need a little more guidance and more time with this,

Please check out my previous meditation called feeling into an intention.

If you feel ready to move on to our next direction,

Take that intention of how you want to feel with you.

And we are going to breathe life into it.

That is the second direction we take our breath,

Our prana,

Life force,

Brings energy into every cell of our body.

And it enlivens our mind,

Bringing more oxygen to the brain.

So as you take your first direction,

Your destination feeling how you want to feel,

I want you to breathe even deeper,

Really breathe it in as you inhale,

Fill all of your lungs and belly expand and open,

Slight pause at the top,

Feel that expansion and then slowly soften and exhale the breath.

Maybe you say that intention out loud even I feel and do this several more times.

Inhale and I really want you to notice and feel the expansion of your breath as you inhale,

Pause at the top,

Hold that expansion,

Staying relaxed and calm and then slowly softly exhale.

Couple more times at your own pace.

Remember you're breathing in this destination feeling,

Pausing at the top,

Just retaining the breath and feeling that expansion,

That life force energy within you and then exhale,

Slowly soften.

Do this for a couple more deep breaths.

And now if you feel ready to continue on our healing journey,

The next direction is what I call hydration for the body and the mind.

Now on a very practical level,

So often we are just simply dehydrated and we're not drinking enough water.

So make a mental note to drink water throughout your whole day.

This will just enliven every cell of your body.

But what I also think is equally as important is hydrating our mind.

And that comes in two parts.

The first one is just giving our minds a break from all the information overload that it has to absorb at times.

So if you find yourself consuming a lot of information,

Allow yourself to either shut down the screen,

Close the book,

Just to be in a place of as much quiet,

Reduced stimulation as you can.

Just allow the mind to wander a bit,

Not attaching to any particular thought or to do list.

But just give it some time to settle and rehydrate.

Our brains can only absorb so much information before it goes on overload and we just feel depleted.

And once you give your mind some true rest,

Bring in that destination intention of I feel once again,

Really focusing on that.

And then let's do a soul check in.

Place your hand on your heart and ask yourself with kindness and with grace,

What do I need in this moment?

And as you're breathing deeply,

Notice what comes up.

And if nothing does,

No rush to it.

What do I need in this moment?

Ask yourself,

What do you really need?

Notice it's something very simple,

Like more sleep or more water.

Maybe it's time outdoors in nature.

Something to connect you to this universal life force.

And if you would like more guidance on this,

Please refer to my previous meditation called soul check in.

And that will give you an extended opportunity to really dive deep into your heart's deepest desire.

And then as you feel ready,

Moving on to our final direction of this healing journey to abundant energy.

And just as we are designed to breathe,

Moving our breath,

We're designed to move our whole body.

To move with breath and life.

Our physical body has an innate wisdom to move.

And so shortly after this meditation,

I would encourage you or even right now if you would like to move your arms out wide,

Feel that expansion.

Maybe wiggle your toes,

Your fingers.

Maybe do some neck rolls,

Stretch and move in any way that feels good.

All the while breathing deep,

Sending gratitude to your physical body.

Sending gratitude especially to the body parts that feel really good.

And for those body parts that perhaps are not feeling as well or even in pain.

Maybe placing a hand on that body part if possible or just sending that part love.

Using that body part,

Healing energy from our deeper breath,

From our intention of how we would like to feel,

Beginning to trust your body's innate wisdom.

And then concluding our healing journey.

Perhaps again placing a hand on the heart or bringing both palms together in a prayer like position,

Honoring this sacred time that you have gifted yourself and knowing that you can come back to these four directions at any point along your healing journey.

And again those are planning your destination by creating an intention of how you would like to feel,

Acknowledging those self-limiting beliefs,

Not judging them but just being aware of them to create a destination feeling.

And breathe life into you,

Breathe deep,

Create that expansion within and send it out.

And hydrating your body with water and your mind by giving your mind an information break and checking in with your soul.

And then finally moving,

Moving with breath,

Appreciation for your body and then closing it out with a gesture.

Honoring this time.

Thank you so much for allowing me to guide you on this healing journey,

Your journey to abundant energy.

Namaste.
