Welcome,
Love.
This is a meditation to connect with Dhumavati,
The Goddess of Endings,
Emptiness,
And the Sacred Unknown.
She walks with us in our grief.
She holds space in the silence.
She reminds us that what feels like nothingness is often the beginning of something new.
Begin by gently closing your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and a slow exhale out through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale stillness and exhale pressure.
One more breath.
Inhale presence and exhale resistance.
Let yourself land fully here.
Bring your awareness to your heart space.
Not to change it,
Just to feel it.
Is there a heaviness,
A hollowness,
A quiet ache?
Whatever is there,
Let it be.
This is a space where you don't have to fix.
Be productive or certain.
Just present.
Breathe gently into your belly,
The seat of your intuition,
Your knowing.
Feel yourself settle,
Feel yourself held.
There is power in simply being.
Now imagine yourself standing in a vast open landscape.
There are no buildings,
No people,
No distractions,
Just peace.
A soft mist floats through the air.
This is the realm of Dhumavati.
Out of the mist,
She slowly appears,
Cloaked in grey,
Radiant in her age,
Carrying the wisdom of lifetimes.
She doesn't smile.
She doesn't speak.
She simply sees you.
And in her gaze,
You feel the most unexpected thing,
Peace.
She does not ask you to move on,
Or let go,
Or change.
She just sits with you.
And in her presence it becomes clear.
You are not lost.
You are in a pause.
And the pause has a purpose.
Sit with her now,
No need to do anything.
Let yourself be witnessed.
Let yourself rest in the in-between.
As you sit in this sacred stillness,
Repeat these affirmations softly or in your heart.
I am not broken.
I am in the space between.
I honor my grief and give it breath.
I do not rush my healing.
There is wisdom in this pause.
I am Dhumavati.
Let these words settle deep in your bones.
Feel their quiet truth.
Now gently ask your inner self.
What am I being invited to release?
What part of me needs stillness,
Not fixing?
What truth is only audible in silence?
Let any images,
Feelings,
Or messages rise up without forcing.
Dhumavati does not offer clarity with fireworks.
She offers it through quiet,
Through waiting.
And what you receive in the void,
That will become your next becoming.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Take a deep inhale,
Grounding and soft.
Exhale slowly,
Carrying Dhumavati's calm with you.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Feel your body supported beneath you.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
You have walked through sacred emptiness.
You are not alone in the unknown.
Dhumavati walks with you.
Thank you for your courage to sit in the stillness.
May it guide you forward in grace.
Namaste.
