Welcome to this mini meditation for fear and anxiety.
Alright,
So first let's unpack what it really means to be fearful.
Fear produces anxiety and it is often preceded by worry.
Worry is like praying for something that you don't want.
When we look at it this way,
No one would ever knowingly choose this.
But it happens.
So this meditation is designed to help you dissolve this habit.
So just for a moment,
I want you to recall a worst case scenario in your life.
Perhaps you instantly visualize an event or it might take you a little longer and that's okay.
Think of how this event made you feel.
You might even feel the energy of these feelings flowing through your body right now.
And it may not feel good.
But don't worry,
I got you.
We're going to transmute that energy.
Thoughts release chemicals and signals into the body which is why our beliefs control our biology.
I'm going to say that again.
Thoughts release chemicals and signals into the body which is why our beliefs control our biology.
When we're feeling fear,
It causes a release of cortisol,
Norepinephrine and other chemicals that interfere with the immune system.
Remember this,
When you're in fear,
The mind will always attempt to create a behavior or an experience to show you coherence.
In other words,
You will experience things that continue to keep you in fear.
Alright,
So we're going to hop into a quick meditation and I mean quick.
After all,
This is a mini meditation.
But first,
Let's take a few deep belly breaths to flood our body with oxygen.
So on the inhale,
You're going to blow air into the belly as you feel and watch it protrude.
And on the exhale,
You're going to bring the belly back as close to the spine as possible.
And you're going to repeat that for a total of three deep belly breaths.
And you can also close your eyes or find a low gaze,
Whatever feels good to you.
Next,
I want you to visualize a warm or bright glowing light shining above your head.
This may feel close or it may feel far away.
Either way,
This is God or source or spirit supporting and holding space for you.
It's always there.
We just have to tap into it.
So I want you to feel this light connecting with your body by penetrating through your crown chakra and filling every single crevice of your body down through the fingertips,
Down through the toes.
Now allow this warmth to transmute all feelings of fear.
It's OK.
It's OK for you to surrender.
We have to be willing to release what no longer serves us in order to see change on the other side.
All is well.
This warm healing light calms the adrenal glands,
Settles the nervous stomach and floods the heart with pure love.
I'd like to leave you with a mantra to keep your vibrational frequency high and in a state of gratitude and love.
And you can use this mantra as an affirmation or in meditation.
It's also helpful to read it silently as you are getting into this quiet,
Comfortable space,
As we have just done.
OK,
Here goes.
I release all fear surrounding my life.
Fear is just an energy and energy can always be transmuted.
I have the power to transmute my fear.
Only love surrounds and guides my expansion,
My growth,
My perfection and my evolution.
All right,
Friend,
I told you this was going to be a short one.
I hope you enjoyed this mini meditation for fear and anxiety.
Remember to listen and apply this to your life as often as needed.
And if you don't already have a daily practice,
I would highly encourage that you create one.
All it takes is just a few minutes alone where you are able to tap in to your higher self and to source.
I'll see you in the next meditation.
