**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY and with HUMILITY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, nor agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

Transcript

This talk is an inquiry in a very serious way to understand ourselves deeply,

To really see the nature of the mind by really perceiving the self-centered activities,

The me.

And this whole journey of this self-inquiry and understanding is meditation.

So now,

Let's empty the thoughts,

The real thinking,

All kinds of tendencies.

To empty them is to see them clearly,

That is also to be aware of the self.

And this continuous awareness and the constant of watching bring about the transformation of the mind.

Without this constant of watching,

The mind is always seeking outwardly.

It depends,

It relies,

It wants,

It desires.

And this seeking outwardly is the beginning of all kinds of life miseries,

Which creates such a foundation of all civilization,

Tradition,

Culture in all kinds of forms.

This constant of watching means we go deep,

We turn inward,

Which means the mind stops seeking.

When the mind stops seeking,

The life is totally transformed.

It is not a mere statement made by the speaker,

It is a fact,

Which needs everyone to find it out seriously.
