We only belong to this moment,
Don't we?
This very moment is the only thing we really have.
But we have imagined we own a lot of things.
We have this,
We have that.
All kinds of ownership,
Possessive desire.
They are all in the domain of thoughts.
We use thoughts to define the ownership,
Define all kinds of religion.
But the true religion is beyond any thoughts.
The religion between us and this moment is beyond any description.
The truth about life is beyond any description.
When the mind is confused,
Which means that the mind is broadened with thoughts,
Illusions,
All kinds distorted perception.
That kind of mind can't really see this truth when only belongs to this moment,
This very moment.
When the mind is distorted by thoughts,
The mind seeks certainty,
Security from thoughts,
From ownership,
In order to feel safe.
But the real security never arrives.
The mind panics.
The mind creates more,
In the hope of owning more,
Acquiring more,
To be safe,
To be emotionally stable.
The mind is therefore caught up in a pattern of craving more,
Asking more,
And seeking permanence.
Such a mind is cunning and thinks it is clever.
But what is really unfortunate is that the mind loses the touch with this moment,
The only thing the mind really has.
What a contradiction,
Isn't it?
The self-deception in this pattern only brings about insecurity.
The very seeking security destroys security.
When the mind is caught in that pattern,
The mind is turbulent,
Confused.
That's why we all turn inward to understand the inner world thoroughly,
To really see this pattern in each one of us.
See that clearly.
That seeing is acting,
Therefore is ending,
Ending that pattern.
And that process of ending is the process of reuniting with the nature,
This moment.
Because only this moment belongs to nature,
The nature of the world,
The nature of mind.
Meditation is really a beautiful name.
Meditation implies inputting,
Inputting the thoughts and restore the perception.
In the proper perception,
The mind feels that it belongs to this moment,
And such a mind is living in truth.
And such a mind never seeks,
Because the mind knows no matter what it seeks,
The very seeking destroys everything.
