
Opening The Heart To Light | A Journey Into Light
This meditation invites you to breathe deeply into your heart center, tuning in to your inner space and discovering where you are today. From that place of awareness, you’ll be guided to step into a radiant light—a metaphor for releasing darkness, lifting your vibration, and embracing vitality, energy, and renewal. Let this be your doorway into a fresh beginning.

Close down your eyes if you haven't done so already.
Make sure that your spine is nice and straight and you're in a comfortable seated position.
Of course you can lay down if you want to,
You can be in bed if you're still there.
Make sure that you're comfortable.
And then as always,
Start to focus on your breath because your breath is so powerful.
Your breath determines a lot of the time how you feel unconsciously.
So by slowing your breath down,
You're starting to calm down the mind and the body.
So nice long,
Slow,
Deep breaths just to settle into your practice.
Let your shoulders relax,
Soften the muscles in your face.
Start to pull your focus and attention into your physical heart this morning.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
See if you can feel what space your heart is in.
Not your heart chakra,
Not right now,
Just your physical heart.
Feel into the sensation of it,
The weight of it.
Even though the heart is an organ,
It actually,
You can tap into the feeling.
Sometimes your heart feels very light and open and sometimes it feels tight and painful and heavy.
Where is your heart?
What does it feel like this morning or this evening or this afternoon,
Wherever you're at?
Just take nice long,
Slow,
Deep breaths,
Starting to let the world around you disappear,
Pulling your attention into your body,
Into this moment in time,
Directing your breath into your physical heart now.
So as you breathe in through your nose,
Use your inner sight,
Use the sensation,
The feeling of the breath.
Breathe in through your nose,
Feel and imagine in your inner sight that you can see the breath moving down your throat,
Down into your lungs and then specifically falling and entering into your physical heart.
And as you breathe out,
Try and just soften your body around your straight spine,
Relaxing your arms,
Relaxing your legs,
Your hands.
Once again,
Direct your breath,
See it in your mind going into your physical heart,
Pull it down into your throat,
Down into your lungs,
Down into your heart.
And as you breathe out,
See if you can soften your heart specifically.
So on that exhale,
Imagine that your heart is just softening,
Releasing any tension or tightness,
Heaviness,
So you're starting to use your breath as a healing modality.
Breathe in,
Send it to the heart,
Let it enter,
Let it swirl around your physical heart.
And then as you exhale,
Soften,
Surrender,
Let go.
Let's add on a little bit more magic here.
As you breathe in,
Imagine that you're breathing in a loving breath.
We can add a visual so that it feels more like you can see it easier in your mind.
So imagine that you're bringing the air that's coming in through your nose.
It's like the biggest,
Softest candy floss color,
Pink,
Pink candy floss,
Kind of cloud there in front of your mind.
And as you breathe in,
You breathe in this loving,
This kindness,
This softness into your heart space.
So you're adding more intention to your breath now.
Bring that in,
Let it fall into your physical heart as if your heart is being touched and held.
Maybe a nice,
Soft,
Loving hug.
And then breathe out,
Let go.
It's like you're doing Reiki or hands-on healing,
But you're doing it with your breath.
And once your heart,
Your physical heart feels a little bit softer,
Maybe a little bit more open,
Notice it might feel lighter.
Let's move our attention across slightly into the center of your chest,
Where your energetical heart chakra lies.
So this next breath that you breathe in,
Breathe in the pink candy floss,
Breathe it in,
Pull it down into your throat,
Down into your lungs,
And let it start to settle into your chest.
Let it settle on.
In your mind's eye,
You can see your heart chakra like a lotus flower.
And as the pink,
Loving,
Kindness,
Softness of your breath starts to fall onto the lotus flower in the middle of your chest,
Let's see it opening slowly so it can accept more of that energy that you're bringing in.
And as you breathe out,
Just release even more.
Release any tension from your shoulders and breathe it out.
Release any heaviness from inside of your head,
Any tension,
Breathe it out.
Pull in the soft,
Dusky pink,
Loving energy,
Pull it down into your heart center.
And every time you breathe into your heart chakra,
See in your mind that this breath is fueling the heart chakra to open more.
Allow yourself to pull your shoulders back and open,
Let your chest rise a little bit more in that seated position,
As if you're opening up and expanding already to this breath.
Breathe it in,
Pull it down into the center of your chest,
Maybe pause your breath and just feel that loving energy throughout your chest.
Let it start to permeate down into your abdomen and up into your chest and your throat.
Just breathe out anything that doesn't serve you.
Breathe out any heaviness,
Maybe there's some sadness.
If you feel different emotions in your heart space,
In your physical heart,
And you don't necessarily want to feel those emotions right now,
Just breathe them out.
In your mind's eye,
As you do this practice,
You see a door there in front of you,
And from beyond the door,
It must be very,
Very light,
Because there's light seeping in around the shape of the door,
Between the door and the door frame.
You can see this bright light trying to shine through.
You're not sure if the light is gold or silver or pink or green,
You can just see thin,
Very thin lines of light all around the door,
As if it's trying to come through.
Taking a couple of steps forward,
So that you're directly in front of the door,
Think about if there is light beyond this door,
Are you ready for it?
Are you ready for this much light to enter into your aura,
The space around you,
Who you are,
To enter into your life?
Are you ready for the light?
And this light contains high vibration,
Goodness,
Happiness,
Joy,
Vibrant energy.
It contains a lot of yummy emotions and feelings.
Take a moment to just decide whether you want that much goodness in your life.
It's a pretty simple answer,
Right?
But just give yourself a choice for a second.
Am I ready for this light?
Am I ready to move on?
Know that this light will probably change you,
Make you brighter,
Happier.
Are you ready for that?
And if you're listening and you're ready,
On one,
You're going to open the door.
On two,
You'll walk through into the light.
And on three,
You'll close the door behind you.
And as the closing of the door happens,
I'd like you to intentionally,
Metaphorically state in your mind that you're closing the door on that which was causing you suffering before.
You're literally closing your door on it and choosing to step into the light.
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
One,
Two,
Three.
Take long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Let the light tingle on your skin.
Open your palms,
Stand in the light.
Imagine a pose that says,
I'm strong,
Like a mountain pose.
Feet,
Hips distance apart.
Hands open,
Palms facing forward to the light.
Head up,
High,
Chin up.
As if you're staring into the light and allowing it to penetrate and absorb into every cell in your body.
Transformation.
Allow the transformation.
Breathe the light in.
Breathe it into your lungs,
Breathe it into your liver,
Your kidneys,
Your intestines.
Bring it into every part of your body.
Shining so bright,
It's not going to take very long.
Super,
Super powerful,
Bright,
Bright light.
Like you're being blasted with it.
You can feel it all the way from the top of your head down to your toes,
Completely surrounded with this light.
No escaping it.
It comes from below and above.
Comes from behind you.
Let your whole body illuminate with happiness and joy and openness to what comes next in your life.
Accepting it,
Receiving it,
Being the light.
Take more powerful breaths while you're in here.
Really like deep breaths.
Not calm,
Slow breaths.
Just take some deep breaths.
Bring it all the way in.
Let it be invigorating,
Energizing.
Pull yourself all the way up to the max.
And then closing it so that you can take it with you.
Imagine that you're just drawing a circle with your hand around your whole body.
Swirling a disc as if you're cutting out this disc of light that you're bringing with you,
That you're in the center of.
Opening the door from the other side.
Walking through the doorway.
Closing the door behind you.
Bringing all this light that's contained in your aura,
In your physical body.
Going to count to three and you can open your eyes and come back into your space.
Feeling very,
Very different.
One,
Two,
Three.
Three.
Opening your eyes.
Coming back into your reality.
Back into this place where shiny and bright.
And this will stay in your aura and your energy field.
