Welcome to Cultivate Your Wellness.

My name is Laura and I'm happy you're here.

Today's meditation is an opportunity to cultivate space in your heart.

It is an invitation to tap into all the love and goodness that resides there,

Giving it the space to grow,

Maybe so big that it expands to the surface and spills out of you.

Let's begin.

Beginning to settle in,

Bringing some stillness to your body,

Some gentleness.

Feeling the sensations of the breath.

Beginning to quiet the mind.

If this feels difficult,

Perhaps imagining you are sitting or lying in a great field,

Just watching the clouds go by.

Each time a thought pops up,

Gently place it on a cloud and let it continue on its journey.

Slowly fading away.

And bringing your attention deeper inward.

As the breath expands the chest,

Feeling it create space there.

Bringing some lightness to the spine,

Some softness to the shoulders,

The face,

The belly.

Feeling any tightness or tension just melt away.

And on your next inhale,

Imagining your heart space.

Seeing it as a warm and bright glow within you.

Glowing with all the goodness,

Hope and love that is within you.

That is within all of us.

Feeling this love growing so big that it's pressing out towards your ribs and your muscles.

With each inhale,

It's warmth and light growing.

Radiating to every corner of your body.

Every corner of your being.

Allowing the breath to create space.

To guide the light to every corner.

Every cell.

Your body is filled with so much of this warm,

Bright,

Loving light.

It begins to spill out of you.

Perhaps a soft smile appears on your face.

Some length to the spine.

Feeling this love connecting with each and every other being who is sharing this meditation with us now.

Perhaps sending some of it out to a loved one,

A friend,

Maybe even someone who's a little difficult to get along with.

Believing that this love is in abundance.

That the well will never run dry.

It's always there.

Always present in your heart.

The breath allows us to create this space.

Nurturing it.

Cultivating it.

Allowing it to grow.

Feeling the warmth.

Feeling the tenderness.

Feeling the love.

Being the love.

I'll give you a few more moments to explore this meditation on your own.

Bringing your awareness back to the sound of my voice.

Back to your body.

Back to the space around you.

Perhaps feeling a little bit lighter.

A little more confident that you can continue throughout your day.

Carrying the love you just cultivated.

Holding the space you just created.

Knowing you can return to this visualization whenever you're feeling heavy or discouraged.

Believing you have this peace and love within you whenever you need it.
