This embodiment practice invites you to find peace within the tender space of transformation, those moments when old identities dissolve and the new has not yet fully formed. Through gentle guidance, you’ll reconnect with your breath and body, anchoring into the core truth of who you are beneath all the change. This is not a practice of striving or fixing, but of softening...an invitation to trust the in-between, to release performance, and to return home to your essence. *There is feminine specific language used toward the end so if she/her language will disturb your practice than this is not the right practice for you.

Welcome to your little five-minute embodiment practice.

I'm going to start somewhere comfortable.

You can be seated or standing or lying down.

That's up to you.

Wherever you are,

Arrive fully in this moment.

So set aside any distractions.

Close the door.

Maybe light a candle.

Make this moment special.

And when you're ready,

Land,

Noticing the way that the floor feels below you.

Do a quick body scan,

Checking in with anywhere you're holding tension,

Anywhere that feels open,

And inviting your mind into the space of curiosity rather than judgment.

It's not always easy,

But just the invitation to focus in that direction of curiosity.

Let that be enough for now.

Coming towards your breath,

Begin to expand through your inhales,

Letting your belly fill and release.

And as you exhale,

Draw your belly button towards your spine.

Inhale,

Expand,

And exhale,

Hug it in.

Continuing with that depth of breath,

We'll begin.

Welcome to the sacred in-between.

You're not who you used to be,

And the new you has not fully landed yet.

That is not failure.

That is the void.

That is sacred.

That is where creativity,

Where newness flows from.

This is life force.

Place your hand on your heart and the other on your belly.

Close your eyes and breathe in deep,

Letting your belly expand.

As you exhale,

Release the pressure to figure it all out.

Inhale,

Fill your belly,

Feel the space,

Feel the openness.

Exhale,

Release the pressure for perfect clarity.

Inhale,

Fill your belly,

Feel yourself expanding.

And exhale,

Release the pressure for certainty.

Say to yourself out loud or in your mind,

I trust the spirit.

I am allowed to evolve.

And part of that evolution is the process of shedding,

Of becoming the goo of the caterpillar,

The goo in the cocoon.

I don't need to know what's happening in the cocoon.

I can trust that my body and my soul and my energy know what they're doing.

But in this moment,

Let's meet her,

The next version of you,

The butterfly.

She's not perfect.

She might not feel ready,

But she's real.

She's you.

She's doing the human thing.

In this case,

The butterfly thing.

And ask yourself in this moment right here,

In this cocoon goo,

What version of me is emerging?

What am I ready to stop pretending to be?

What am I afraid to become,

But deeply longing for?

Feel where the words land.

Let the answers be messy and unclear and surprising.

Let the answers take their time and land later if they need to.

Remember that you don't need to define her.

Your mind is not the one responsible for this change.

Your mind is responsible for listening,

For witnessing,

For listening.

And for loving you in this in-between moment.

Remember that you don't owe anyone perfect consistency of the exact same identity.

You owe yourself honesty,

Evolution.

This next version of you is not outside of you.

She is right here right now,

And you can let her unfold.

Bring a hand onto your heart and a hand onto your belly.

Breathing deep,

Feeling your physical presence,

Your groundedness right here in this moment.

If you feel calm,

Maybe expanding your arms out wide like wings,

And as slowly or quickly as you need,

Lifting and lowering them,

Feeling this new version of you physically emerging.

Without logic,

Without mental control,

Let it be a physical and energetic shift of allowing your body,

Your soul,

Your energy to lead the way.

When that feels complete,

You can bring your hands back onto your heart.

Offer yourself gratitude for showing up here in this in-between moment,

Taking the time to tune in.

Maybe even give yourself a big hug.

And know that no version of you is better or worse.

You are you in each moment,

And that is fucking perfect.

Come back to this as many times as you need and let it land in between.
