Begin by sitting or lying down comfortably,

Let your body settle into this moment.

Close your eyes,

Let the outside world fade.

This is a space just for you,

A space for truth,

A space for softness,

A space for healing.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Exhale through your mouth.

The tension,

The stories,

The anger.

Do it again,

Inhale,

I welcome peace.

Exhale,

I release what no longer serves me.

Now allow yourself to land fully in this moment.

You are not here to fix everything,

You are not here to carry what isn't yours,

You are here to honor what is real.

Bring your awareness to your heart,

The space that holds both pain and power.

Feel into the tender edges,

The parts that ache,

The places still wanting to be seen and to be held.

Breathe into that space,

Not to make the pain disappear,

But to offer gentleness,

To say,

I see you,

I love you,

I will not abandon you.

Now let these words rise within you.

I am allowed to feel it all.

I am allowed to grieve what wasn't.

I am allowed to be angry,

Confused,

And still loving.

I do not have to shrink in order to love.

I do not have to carry the unspoken pain and silence.

I am allowed to choose peace for me.

Let yourself breathe in that truth.

Now gently bring your mother to mind.

Not to analyze or argue or fix,

But simply to see her as she is,

Shaped by her own stories,

Her own pain,

Her own limitations.

You are not here to condone what hurts you.

You are here to release the power it has over your peace.

Say silently or aloud,

I see you and I release the need for you to be different in order for me to be whole.

I forgive what I can,

And I bless what I cannot yet understand.

I release you from the role you could not fulfill,

And I return that energy back to myself with love.

This is not about forgetting.

This is about freeing yourself.

This is about letting go.

This is about reclaiming your softness without losing your strength.

This is about choosing your peace over the pain of trying to change someone who may never see you the way you needed to be seen.

Breathe again.

Inhale,

I choose me.

Exhale,

I choose peace.

Now place a hand over your heart and one over your belly.

Feel your body,

Your sacred home,

The place where you are mothering yourself now.

I am my own sanctuary.

I am safe to feel.

I am safe to love with boundaries.

I am allowed to honor my needs.

Without guilt,

Without shame.

I am free.

I am healing.

I am whole.

Let these words become your truth,

Not just for today,

But for every time that wound feels raw.

And when you're ready,

Slowly bring yourself back to the room.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Open your eyes gently.

Know that nothing about your peace depends on someone else's understanding.

You are doing the sacred work.

You are breaking cycles with grace.

You are becoming whole,

And that is enough.
