We can run, we can hide, we can deny or look the other way, but ultimately, as the Universe can only reflect and mirror back into our experiences that which we are in vibrational alignment with, our lives, and the various areas within them, are beautiful mirrors letting us know where we are in consciousness with regards to any particular area. I invite you to join me as we continue to move deeper and deeper into the practice of self-observation, and, ultimately consciousness-expanding.

Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom podcast.

A weekly and practical podcast with the intention to inspire,

Empower and uplift us all to wake up to who and what we are.

So that we,

That is you and me,

May forever allow for greater and grander expressions of that who and what to emerge.

With ease and grace.

My name is Daniel Rocquio and I'm your host.

Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom podcast.

My name is Daniel Rocquio and as always I'm very,

Very grateful and I'm very,

Very honored and privileged that you're choosing to join me,

That you're choosing to tune in to this episode and this podcast,

Out of all the episodes and all the podcasts and all the possibilities and opportunities that are out there that you're choosing to tune in to this one.

It fills my heart with joy and love and it puts a smile on my face.

This week's episode is called,

As Our Life is Our Mirror,

What is it Showing Us?

As our life is our mirror,

What is it showing us?

And this of course has to do with the fact that there is only order in the cosmos,

That consciousness always precedes form,

That whatever we are in vibration and alignment with must and absolutely will come into our experience at one point or another.

And so a way to sort of gauge where we are in consciousness is to look at the various aspects and the various areas of our lives.

To use them as a sort of signpost or telltale sign as to where we are in consciousness.

Because whatever is going on in our lives is a direct reflection of our consciousness or what we think about the most and what we talk about the most and what we feel about the most,

Our predominant vibration.

And so we will be exploring this at a deep level during this episode.

But you know,

As always,

Before we move into that part of this episode,

Let's move into the knownness of this moment.

Let's have a moment of coming back to the peace that is here and the love that is here and the joy that is here,

The harmony and the wholeness that is here in this moment.

A moment of meditation and a moment of prayer.

And so in this moment I invite you to make yourself comfortable.

I invite you to close your eyes,

Put a smile on your face,

Letting your body know that all is well so that it can begin to produce these loving and healing chemicals.

I invite you to begin to gently tap between your eyebrows to activate that first eye,

That spiritual eye.

And as we smile and as we tap,

I invite us to set an intention for this particular episode or actually this particular meditation.

And my intentions are always to wake up to who and what I am and to allow for greater and greater expression so that who and what to emerge.

So you're welcome to join me in these intentions or you catch your own intentions.

Either way we can release the tapping.

I invite us to put our hands in our lap,

Palms facing upward,

Thumb and middle finger touching as a sign of receptivity.

And as we turn our attention to the breath,

We want to be aware that the body is fully able and capable of breathing by itself,

Which means that we do not need to participate in the breathing,

We do not need to make the breathing happen,

But we can simply observe and witness the breathing when an acid happens.

We also want to be aware that the breath has four stages to it.

The in-breath,

The out-breath,

The space between in and out-breath and the space between out and in-breath.

And as we become aware of this and seek to stay our attention on all these four stages and through these four stages,

It makes it so much easier for us to sustain our attention on the breath for longer and longer periods.

And as we in this moment take on the feeling tone that all is well,

Let's give the peace that follows permission to move us deep,

Deep,

Deep into the stillness and into the silence.

And should our attention drift away from the breath,

I invite us to gently and lovingly turn it back and begin again.

As we slowly rise up,

Itch at the seat.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

Come back to the breath and begin again.

I invite you to remain with your eyes closed,

Remain comfortable.

I invite you to keep your heart open and your mind open so that the prayer may move you into an even higher vibration and into an even more expanded consciousness.

And so from this moment,

How grateful,

How deeply grateful I am for all of the good that is here in this moment.

For the love that is here and the joy that is here and the wholeness that is here.

Peace that is here.

Harmony that is here.

The abundance that is here.

The beauty that is here.

The divine that is here in this moment,

In each and every single moment.

And how grateful I am for you and for your participation,

For your choosing to consciously awaken.

To consciously call forth ever greater and greater expressions of who and what you are.

I'm so grateful.

I'm grateful that you're joining me and I'm grateful for the technology that allows all of this to be.

The computer and the microphones and the software and the hardware and all of the stuff,

All of the technical stuff.

That I don't even know how it works and I don't even know half of it but I'm still grateful for all of it.

And from this space of being grateful,

I know and I feel that Spirit is good and I know and I feel that Spirit is all there is.

And know and I feel that Spirit has always been,

Always will be ever the same,

Unchangeable.

The Spirit is all of the love and all of the peace and all of the joy and all of that good.

All of these divine qualities.

And the Spirit cannot diminish itself or contradict itself or compromise itself.

It means that right where you are and right where I am,

All of these goodies are.

The peace and love and the joy and the harmony and the wholeness and the abundance and the beauty and intelligence and expansion and progression and creativity.

It is all right where we are.

In every single being,

In every single object,

In every single space and place,

In all of creation.

All of these are fully present.

And what all of this means is that right where you are,

Right where I am,

Everything,

Absolutely everything that we need to keep moving forward,

Everything,

Absolutely everything that we need to keep expanding and to keep growing.

We already have it.

We already have it and we already are it.

We are it.

Inherently within each and every single one of us.

As we are all holographic images of Spirit.

As we are all unique and perfect emanations of the Divine.

All of the good that God is,

We are.

We don't only have it,

But we are it.

Which means that in every single moment,

Resource-fueled and funded,

Sustained and maintained.

Truly all is well.

Where you are and where I am,

All is well.

Something wonderful is absolutely happening.

And everything is working for the highest good.

All of this I know and all of this I feel,

All of this I accept,

All of this I give deep,

Deep,

Deep and mighty thanks for.

I let it be,

I allow it to be.

So it is,

So be it and so shall it be.

Amen,

Amin,

Ashe,

Aho,

Hotep,

Shalom,

Salam and Hallelujah.

You may now open your eyes and let's get into the exploration of what it means that our life is our mirror.

So,

Just a brief background,

I guess.

We all live in a universe in the cosmos where there is only Divine and Perfect Order.

These sacred laws,

They respond and correspond to our predominant vibration,

What we think about the most,

What we feel about the most and what we talk about the most.

And whatever we are in vibrational alignment with,

Whatever we do,

Think about the most and talk about the most and feel about the most.

The substance and the essence of that will be reflected back into our experience,

Whatever our core beliefs are,

Our fears and our worries and our doubts.

All of this,

The sum of all of this make up for our predominant vibration and that predominant vibration sends a vibrational message to these sacred laws.

They pick those messages up and they reflect them back into our experience.

In other words,

If we step back from our lives,

If we take an honest look at our lives and the various areas,

We've got livelihood and we've got relationships and we've got finances and we've got self-love and we've got spirituality and we've got creative endeavors.

And there are probably many,

Many,

Many more.

But as we look at these different areas of our lives,

To the extent that we experience that they are working or not working,

To that extent we can draw the conclusion as everything is a reflection of our state of consciousness,

Our inner reality as I used to call it.

Right?

Our internal reality.

Yes,

Everything is a reflection of that.

It means that if we perceive an area not to be working in our lives,

It is not because outside and external circumstances are against us.

It is not life on our case or spirit on our case or we're not victimized by other individuals.

It is never their fault.

They are never to blame.

But we have responsibility for what we are in vibrational alignment with.

We have responsibility for what we call into our experience.

And I'm going to circle back to this because at the same time as we are fully responsible,

We are never to blame ourselves or place guilt trips upon ourselves for calling anything into our experience.

Much of that which comes into our experience,

We're not even aware of calling it into our experience,

So it is not a personal flaw or a personal fault or anything like that.

But we're going to circle back to that in a moment.

The reason this came up,

The reason I caught this topic was because I was talking to an individual a few days ago and we both have the same contract with the same large corporation.

I have my own business.

I depend on these contracts and I've had this contract for a number of years now and it's very,

Very,

It's very lucrative and it's very,

It allows for so many possibilities in my life.

I'm working quite short hours and I get paid.

I think it's ridiculous how much they pay me actually.

But once again,

It is all a reflection of where I am in my consciousness with regards to money and with regards to how much I need to work and what work is.

Anyway,

I was talking to this individual and we both have the same contract,

But he was experienced,

We have totally different experiences.

Whereas he shared that he experienced that the days were long and he had to struggle and he had to work hard and he ran into obstacles and things were not at all working for him.

Whereas I'm,

To me it's like I'm just sailing,

I'm just flying,

I'm just cruising through this contract.

And everybody's,

I'm totally satisfied with the way things are right now and everybody is totally happy with my performance and with what I deliver and the quality of my work.

And so no one ever questions how much money I get from doing this.

And he gets the same amount,

So it's not the amount of money that we get,

But our experiences were totally different.

And he got me thinking,

Or actually he got me looking at the other areas of my life.

And I just,

I couldn't help but smile and I'm still so grateful how my life has evolved.

I remember a time when I used to struggle and I used to work hard and I used to believe,

Not consciously necessarily,

But on some level I had the notion and the belief and the perception that I needed to work hard.

And so I did.

My God,

I worked hard,

I worked long days and I worked many days and I still didn't make a fraction of the money that I'm making now.

And my days are very short,

Very short,

And I'm not working hard at all,

But I'm having so much fun doing what I'm doing.

It's not what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life,

But for now this is what I am doing in this period of transition that I'm in.

And it works beautifully.

It provides for me,

It provides for my family in a beautiful and very abundant way.

And so I took a look at my life and there are so many areas that are working beautifully.

I'm enjoying absolutely divine and perfect health.

I have not been sick and I mean I've not even had the snivels for I don't remember how long.

It's been years.

I have not had one sick day in many,

Many,

Many years.

And my body is totally free from pain and aches.

And I'm enjoying the company of,

Actually to be honest I don't have that many friends.

Most of them have fallen away,

But the ones that are still here and some new relationships that have opened up during the last couple of years,

I'm enjoying them immensely.

We're having a great time together.

So my social life,

Although if someone were to observe it,

I hardly ever,

Or I can scratch that hardly,

I never actually go to parties or dinners or anything like that.

Because there's no need for me to do that.

That need to socialize in that way has sort of dissolved these last few years and I'm not judging anything.

I'm not judging myself or I'm not judging anyone else who perhaps goes to lots of parties and lots of dinners and have a rich social life in that sense.

This is not about comparison,

This is not about judgment,

This is about me sharing how I view my life and how I view the reflection that my life sends back to me.

And where's my family is concerned,

We've had our challenges,

We've had our difficulties,

But we are now on a very,

Very good path.

And this is the same with every,

I cannot find one area,

Which is not to say that there is not room for expansion.

In every single area of my life there is plenty of room for expansion,

But there is no area in my life where I feel that it's not working.

Where I feel it is as a liability,

Or where I feel that I'm being held down or that that part is holding me down or holding me back.

But my whole life supports,

I mean every structure in my life,

Every area in my life supports and empowers me in a beautiful,

Beautiful,

Beautiful way.

And as I hear myself speak,

I just want to clarify that this is not me bragging about how good my life is.

But this is me giving a testimony to how fulfilling and how rewarding this inner work that we're doing is.

All of these hours,

Many,

Many,

Many hours of prayer and meditation and studying and contemplation and visioning and setting intentions.

This is the result of this,

Because my life was nowhere near the quality that it is now and that it has now.

Only a short number of years ago.

It was very different.

But through the immense amount of inner work that I've done and that I keep doing and that I will always keep doing.

Because I never want to stop for my life to expand.

But I want it to continue to expand like one,

That's actually one of my supreme intentions for me to forever allow for greater and grander expressions of who and what I am to emerge.

And so I want to continuously allow for these greater and grander expressions to emerge.

But this is a way that we can use life,

Our life,

To get a sense of where do we need to do some work.

In what area do we need to do some work?

Perhaps we're enjoying perfect health.

And perhaps we're enjoying financial abundance.

But our relationships are not that good.

Or perhaps we're being paid a lot of money but we are not in a place of employment where we feel the freedom or the support or where we get to express ourselves in a beautiful way.

And what we want to realize,

Because it would be so easy to take an area of our life and just say that,

Well,

It's not working because of them.

Or it's not working because of this.

It is that individual's fault.

They are to blame.

Or it's because I experienced this.

I went through this in my childhood.

Or whatever the case may be,

It would be so easy to place blame,

To point fingers,

And put on the victim suit.

But this life that we've chosen,

This path of awakening,

Is about releasing and letting go.

Gradually,

Gradually,

Gradually,

Gradually,

Releasing,

Letting go,

All of these small and limited perceptions and stories and beliefs and opinions and judgments and all of that.

To set ourselves free.

To be healthy,

To be prosperous,

To be abundant,

To be love and to be loved and to be healthy and to soar in every single area.

Not because another individual allows us to soar.

And that is not through us believing that another individual has the power to allow us to soar.

Because no one has that power unless we give them that power.

But we want to take our power back.

So,

Self-observation,

Taking an honest and good look at ourselves,

At our lives,

And sort of gauging the reflection that our life is showing us.

And connecting that back to where we are in consciousness.

What am I believing about my worth with regards to this specific area?

What am I believing about what is possible with regards to this particular area?

Asking these kind of questions.

And whenever we find an area,

Whenever we catch or become aware of an area that we perhaps are not totally happy with,

Rather than placing blame or pointing fingers,

We want to fall back,

We want to lean into some empowering questions.

And we've talked about these before.

Whenever we come face to face with a challenge,

To ask,

What is my lesson here?

Or,

What good is here that I presently cannot see?

Or,

How can I grow?

If I want this area of my life to expand,

If I want it to shift,

If I want it to improve,

How can I grow?

What do I need to release and let go of?

Because ultimately,

Every shift,

Every expansion that we go through,

Is the direct result of us having released and let go of some small and limited thought pattern,

Or habit,

Or perception,

Or whatever the case may be.

All growth is the direct result of us releasing and letting go of something,

Like we talked about last week.

If we want to expand,

We gotta give something up.

If we want to grow,

We have to give something up.

So these are questions that we can use that will open up the growth potential,

That will reveal the gift and the blessing.

If we feel stuck,

It is never something outside of ourselves that has kept us stuck,

But it is something within ourselves that is keeping us stuck.

And so we want to ask,

What do I need to release and let go of?

How can I grow?

What is the blessing here?

What good is here that I presently cannot see?

Because as our consciousness expands,

As we raise our vibration,

The whole universe will and must rise up to meet us at that new level.

Life can only reflect and mirror our state of consciousness.

Unless we are in consciousness,

It cannot manifest or demonstrate itself into our experience.

Consciousness always precedes form.

Always,

Always,

Always.

Now,

Circling back to what I was saying about how we are not to judge ourselves or blame ourselves whenever we become aware of perhaps holding on to small and limited thought patterns as to what we're worthy of,

What we're able of,

Or what is possible to emerge in our life.

Because we want to always move through every shift,

Every change,

Every process,

Every transformation and transition with self-love.

We want to always be kind and gentle with ourselves.

If we have had and if we have held on to a small and limited thought pattern or belief,

It is not a personal flaw.

We're not to blame for that.

Somewhere along the line,

We caught that notion and for some reason,

We held on to it believing that it served us in that moment and in those moments.

But as we're now growing,

As we're now expanding our consciousness,

We become aware that it is not serving us.

That story,

That belief is not serving us,

But it is actually holding us back.

But us having held on to it has nothing to do with our worth and value.

It has nothing to do with our worth and value.

Self-blame,

Self-judgment,

It serves absolutely nothing where growth and expansion is concerned.

All it does is to keep us stuck where we are and it causes us to feel bad about ourself.

It causes us to move into self-loathing and self-hatred and all these destructive and negative states of consciousness and vibrations.

So we want to always be gentle and kind towards ourselves,

Realizing that whatever we did,

Whatever we believed or chose to believe or was told to believe,

We did the very best we knew how to do.

In that moment,

In those moments,

We did the very best we knew how to do.

Now we know more and we're able to make a higher choice,

A higher choice.

But in previous moments,

We have not been able to make that higher choice,

Even if we perhaps have been aware of holding on to this story or belief.

If we were not able to release and let it go,

It only meant that we didn't have the ability at that time to release and let it go.

We may have had thoughts and opinions as to what we should be able to release and let go of and what we should be able to do or not do,

But those judgments and those opinions,

They're merely fantasies.

If we're not able,

We are not able.

You see?

Not until the moment we actually are able to make that choice are we fully able.

So,

Blaming ourselves,

Rescinding ourselves,

Judging ourselves,

Criticizing ourselves,

Hating ourselves,

Beating ourselves up,

All of these,

They serve nothing.

They only make us feel bad and they create the environment for disease and illness and mental illness.

So we're wise to be compassionate,

To be kind toward ourselves,

To be loving toward ourselves.

And if we become aware of these internal dialogues,

The speaking of how we suck or how we're worthless or how we're not good enough or how we're not worthy enough,

We can either come back to the breath,

And this is how I have worked with the ego in the past.

The ego rarely has any power over me anymore,

But in the past it had a lot of power.

I gave it a lot of power with a lot of self-loathing and self-criticism and self-judgments and all these kinds of non-loving actions that we take.

I would come back to the breath and I would simply state and remind myself that I don't need to believe these stories.

I don't need to believe these judgments.

They are not true.

They are not true.

And today I'd come back to the breath and perhaps lean into all is well or lean into something wonderful is happening.

Coming back to the breath is a beautiful anchor into the nowness of this moment,

Not only in meditation but all throughout our days.

As we come back to the breath,

Being fully present with the breath,

We allow that space between us and our experiences,

Between us and our thoughts,

Between us and our emotions.

We allow that space to open up.

We're not creating that space.

That space is always there,

But we allow it to open up.

And as we allow it to open up,

We set ourselves free,

We create a separation between us and our attachment to whatever thought forms,

Whatever emotion,

Whatever reaction we're experiencing.

So we separate ourselves from it,

Realizing that we are not it,

But we are the consciousness and that is the content.

But however you do it,

I invite you to find a way to break free from these self-judgments,

Because they do not serve you.

Alright,

Enough about that.

So,

Let's have a little exercise,

Or experiential,

As someone once called it.

And so in this moment,

So what's gonna happen is that we're gonna move into a brief self-observation or life-observation exercise.

And so I'm gonna invite us to close our eyes in a moment,

And I'm gonna list a few of the different life structures or life areas that we have.

I will probably not be able to list them all.

I don't have an actual list,

But this is just what flows through me.

And then we're gonna move into a moment of stillness,

A moment of silence.

And my invitation for you is to choose these areas.

And if you come up with other areas,

You're more than welcome to use them as well,

To include them as well.

But I invite you to look at all these areas of your life,

All these structures,

And sort of grade them from one to ten,

Where one is perhaps not working at all,

And ten would be divine flow.

In other words,

Ten would be it is working beautifully.

I couldn't be more happy with how this area is unfolding and playing out in my life.

So one,

It is not working at all,

It totally sucks,

And ten,

It is awesome.

And this is just to sort of get an idea as to where we need to begin to do some work.

In order to create stability,

Increase stability,

In order to perhaps unlock stagnation in our lives.

Alright,

So in this moment I invite us to close our eyes.

And some of the structures that I invite us to take a look at are finances,

Relationships,

Career,

Housing,

Health,

Spirituality,

Creativity,

Actually let's divide health into physical health,

Emotional health,

And mental health.

Ultimately they're all connected,

But for the sake of this exercise let's set them apart.

And as I said,

If other areas emerge into your consciousness,

Feel free to include them into this exercise.

So gently,

Within yourself,

Begin to grade these different areas,

Which are working amazingly,

And which are not perhaps working at all.

So we're going to spend a few moments here.

And obviously this all depends on your ability to be honest with yourself.

Self-observation serves nothing unless we're honest,

Always to the best of our ability,

But if we're deceiving ourselves,

We will not get very far in expanding our lives and our experiences.

Alright,

So we've had a few moments.

Now I invite you to either on a piece of paper or in your mind,

Just choose one or two of the areas that you gave the lowest grade to.

Whatever that grade was,

Pick one or two of the areas which you gave the lowest grade.

And that area,

Whatever that area is,

Just know,

Without judgment,

Without opinion,

Without criticizing yourself or blaming yourself,

Just know that that area is unfolding,

Is playing out the way it is,

As a reflection of your beliefs and perceptions with regards to you and that area,

With regards to you in relationship to that area.

And so if you want it to improve,

If you want that area to change and shift,

The way to go about it is not stretching into the external world and trying to change that area.

But the way to go about it,

I mean,

You could do that and you could perhaps call forth a temporary change,

But as everything always emerges from within us,

As everything is always a reflection of our consciousness,

You would very soon find yourself right back where you are right now.

So the way to create a lasting change,

A permanent change,

Is to go to work within your consciousness.

And so the next step would be for you to begin to look at what are your beliefs with regards to this area.

Perhaps you have had experiences telling you that it is not possible for this area to be anything but what it is right now,

That it's not possible for it to be anything else.

Or perhaps you're bumping into perceptions that you're not worthy of more,

Or that you're not capable of more.

Or perhaps you're bumping into perceptions and beliefs about there not being enough for you to have more.

That there is not enough in the world,

That there is lack and scarcity in the world.

And as everybody else or most others have this particular,

Whatever the case may be,

That there is not enough left for you to also enjoy it.

So that would be step two,

To become aware of the limited thought patterns underneath this outplaying or outpicturing in this particular area.

And the third and final step would be to,

As you become aware,

As you embrace and allow,

You set the intention to shift this area.

So perhaps you begin to articulate a vision around this area or an intention around this area,

Describing and articulating what you want it to look like,

How you want it to be.

And then being willing to call that forth.

Giving it permission to guide and lead and move you into what kind of work you need to do around this particular area,

Always within yourself.

So this is a brief description of the transformation process,

Which I did not see coming in this episode.

But it flowed beautifully.

What needed to come up,

Came up.

What needed to be said,

Has been said.

And so in this moment I think we're gonna bless out.

And so in this moment I invite you to make yourself comfortable once again,

To close your eyes once again,

To bring that smile onto your face once again,

Regardless of whether you feel like smiling or not.

Perhaps this exercise or this episode has brought things to the surface that you're not too happy about,

Or whatever the case may be.

But nonetheless I invite you to smile.

Your body doesn't know the difference between a fake smile or a real smile,

So you might as well smile.

And oh my God,

I want.

.

.

Oh my God,

How grateful I am.

How grateful I am for you being here,

For the work that you're doing,

For your willingness,

For your courage to engage and participate in this expansion of who and what you are.

How grateful I am that you're choosing to do what most individuals are not choosing.

That you're breaking free from the herd,

That you're breaking free from conforming to humanity as a collective.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And as I know that God is everywhere,

Meaning that God is right where you are,

That you and God are one,

I know that whatever has transpired during this episode,

Whatever has come up,

It has come up simply because it was time for it to come up.

And as God never makes a meaningless act or never makes a mistake,

But as there is only divine and perfect timing,

And divine and perfect action,

I know that the process that has now begun,

That which has now been set in motion,

Will continue to move and guide and lead you into ever greater and greater expressions of who and what you are.

And it will happen with such ease and grace,

Which is not necessarily without gnashing of teeth,

But still with ease and grace.

Something truly wonderful is happening right now.

Something truly wonderful is happening right now.

Healing is happening right now.

I know it and I feel it,

I know it and I feel it.

Everything,

Everything,

Everything is working for the highest good,

Always and forever.

Always and forever.

And as I release the word,

I do so fully knowing and feeling that in the mind of God,

This is already done.

Whatever you're about to move through in the mind of God,

It's done.

You've moved through it.

You've emerged on the other side.

More glorious,

More luminous,

More excellent,

More beautiful,

More radiant,

More loving and kind,

More creative,

More abundant,

More prosperous than ever before.

I know it,

I feel it,

I accept it,

I give thanks for it,

I allow it to be.

So it is and so be it,

So shall it be.

Amen,

Amin,

Hashi,

Aho,

Hotep,

Shalom and Hallelujah.

Thank you so so much for joining me,

Thank you so so much for participating.

Until the next time,

I bless,

Bless,

Bless your day and I bless,

Bless,

Bless your way.

You beautiful,

Magnificent and radiant and wonderful.

Be.
