Let's go ahead and begin as we usually do by starting to get into a nice comfortable position.

And as we begin,

We're going to just kind of take note of how we're feeling this evening and bringing that person with us.

So acknowledging if we might be feeling off in any manner or even in a really great mood or tired or whatever you might feel,

Just acknowledging that,

Not even trying to push it away or get rid of it.

Just bring that person along and see where this meditation might take you.

We're going to begin with what is called a box breathing.

And so I'll say it first and then we can all begin to practice together.

We'll begin by inhaling for hold to exhale for hold to.

I do want to say at any point if you don't like the holding,

Then just skip the holding and then go ahead straight into the either next inhale or exhale.

Before we begin this breath pattern though,

Let's just go ahead and start to notice how we're breathing this evening.

Maybe getting a sense of how long your breath is,

Where you might physically feel it inside the body.

Any movement with the inhale.

And there's always the most obvious areas of the chest or perhaps the belly.

But also noticing that maybe even your shoulders rise or move a little with an inhale.

Noticing there's expansion with the ribs to the sides laterally and there's even a little bit of movement in the back.

When you breathe.

And maybe if you work with energy,

Even getting a sense of your breath moving to other parts of the body.

Maybe you get the sense that the breath travels down through the legs all the way to the soles of the feet.

So whatever you're sensing or feeling or visualizing is perfect for you.

There is no wrong way or no wrong visualization that you might be getting right now.

And we're going to go ahead and begin with that breath pattern.

So whenever you feel ready to inhale,

Inhale to a count of four and feel free if you don't like that number,

You can always speed up the count.

At the end of that exhale,

Or excuse me,

Inhale,

We hold for two.

Exhale four.

Hold two.

And then continue around in this box.

So going down the side,

Inhaling four.

The bottom,

You hold two.

Exhale four.

And then at the top,

Hold two.

And keep going around.

And like I said,

If you don't like the holding,

Just do the inhale four,

The exhale four.

Notice as you're breathing and continuing along if anything's changing.

Maybe the mind is starting to settle as you find your focal point in the rhythm.

Maybe physical parts of the body have shifted,

Your shoulders just dropped or your hands changed where they were located.

This is all about being present,

Just noticing what might happen.

So not trying to hold back anything or try to move in any manner.

Just see what your body does.

Just take an observation of what you need to do.

And then go ahead through one more round,

And then you can just release this breath pattern.

And noticing your breath after you finished,

If maybe it feels a little bit different in the physical body,

Or if it feels longer or more expansive.

And then I want you to imagine as if there is a purple flame in front of you.

So even just go ahead and place this purple flame right in front of wherever you're located.

If you're lying down,

You can also just place it right above you.

So we're going to do a little bit of releasing from the body.

And so I want to have this purple flame here so that when you release,

It'll go into the flame and be transmuted and it will not go into your home.

And even if you feel like you can't see it,

Just imagine like you're putting it there for yourself.

Our visualizations are actually very strong.

We're going to draw our awareness down to our root chakra.

We're going to do a little bit of cleansing of our chakras today.

The root chakra is located at the perineum.

The word chakra means wheel.

And so you can just imagine a wheel turning and the color associated with the root is red.

But before we do anything,

I want you to get a sense of your root chakra located in this area.

Can you get a sense of the color?

It might be red,

It might be darker,

It might feel that it's blocked or smoky,

Or maybe you can see it spinning.

And if you don't know,

That's perfectly fine as well.

Continuing to keep your awareness down here at the root chakra,

Visualizing now this red color,

And you get to choose your red.

And as you see this red color,

Imagining it starting to spin.

So we're beginning to awaken this area,

Starting to get it moving.

The root chakra is associated with security.

It is the foundation of all of the chakras above it.

So in order for the rest of them to work or be aligned,

This one has to begin and start the foundation.

This is where you feel stability.

This is where you're also connected to your ancestors and to your family members.

As you inhale,

I want you to imagine as if you're going to pull in safety,

Security,

Stability.

And from this space here,

I want you to release out anything that is holding you back from feeling stable.

And I want you to just push it into that purple flame in front of you.

So we're going to use our breath to awaken and our breath to release.

The inhale again,

We pull in stability,

That strength,

And we feel it.

We feel it in this area.

And as we exhale,

We release any anxiety or worry or fear,

Anything that keeps us from feeling safe.

So keep breathing,

Filling and clearing this chakra.

Maybe getting a sense if this area looks different internally.

Maybe you're getting a different visualization.

Maybe the color has shifted or it feels more alive or awakened.

Let's go ahead and move up to the next chakra.

This is a couple inches below your belly button in the center of the pelvis.

This is where your sacral chakra is located.

Getting a sense of what this might look like.

The color associated with it is orange.

This chakra is located or is in relation to our sexuality,

Our intuition,

Being fluid and free,

Thinking of the element of water.

As you inhale,

I want you to begin to imagine this fluidity,

This freedom,

Healing,

Cleansing.

And as you exhale,

Maybe perhaps releasing out any trauma or rigidness.

Anything that holds you back from being fluid and free.

And then continue to inhale and fill the space to clear it.

And then exhale,

Release.

And reminder,

Keep pushing it into that flame.

And then getting a sense of what it might look like.

The color orange,

Maybe the color changed,

Maybe it's brighter.

Maybe even just getting an intuitive message that maybe perhaps you need to do a little bit more work in this area.

And that's okay too.

You usually can connect and fill up certain chakras a little bit easier than others.

So this is just awareness of who you are or how you are in this moment.

Go ahead and move up to the next chakra.

It is located at the belly button.

This is your solar plexus.

Get a sense of this chakra.

The color associated with this chakra,

The solar plexus is yellow.

The element here is fire.

It's all about confidence,

Feeling that power of ourselves.

But not too much power.

That will be that we're misaligned.

So this humble power,

This confidence.

And if it's misaligned,

We're perhaps maybe doubting ourselves.

We're feeling a little less than.

Let's start to awaken this area.

Inhale,

Pull in confidence,

Strength.

And then go ahead and begin to exhale and release anything,

Any doubt.

Maybe even a little bit of that fire.

Maybe even as you inhale,

You just feel the yellow bright light.

Shining.

And then exhale out anything that holds you back from truly believing in yourself.

Getting a sense now of how this area might look or feel.

And again,

Reminding that any visualizations or intuitive thoughts or feelings are accurate.

Or even any messages you might hear too,

They're accurate.

Go ahead,

Draw your awareness up to your heart center.

This is where your heart chakra is located.

Right at the center of the chest,

Next to the physical heart.

Get a sense of this area.

Maybe even physically.

Noticing if you're rounding your shoulders and protecting this space.

Does this area feel open just physically?

Inside,

Energetically,

Can you get a sense of the color?

The color is green.

Is it a bright green?

Is it dull or muted?

Love.

This one's all about love.

Loving ourselves and loving others.

When we're in line,

We can send loving messages to ourselves.

Do the same for other people.

When we're misaligned,

There could be anger or resentment,

Jealousy.

Whenever you feel ready,

Beginning to inhale love.

That green,

Beautiful light of love.

Love towards yourself and all of humanity.

And release out those blockages of love right into that purple flame.

Getting a sense of this area.

Maybe you felt a little bit of a shift in an opening of the chest or a change of the color.

Or maybe it hurts a little or you feel tightness.

So just noticing that and maybe perhaps this area,

You need to work a little bit more on.

The next is our throat chakra.

Getting a sense of this area.

Does it feel like your throat is physically sore or scratchy?

Have you been coughing a lot lately?

Does it feel thick or blocked?

The color of this area is indigo.

So it's like a purpley blue mix.

Noticing energetically maybe your shade of this color.

When this chakra is aligned,

We speak freely.

We stand up for ourselves.

We're kind to others.

We don't over speak.

We don't interrupt.

We're not mean.

It's also about listening.

So even sometimes that idea of listening and not speaking.

I want you to inhale and feel this area open.

Your voice.

And in any manner that you might need right now.

And as you exhale,

Release any blockages.

Anything that might keep you from listening or speaking in a manner that is kind to yourself or others.

Getting a sense of this area,

The color,

The feeling even physically of your throat chakra.

Moving up to your third eye.

Right in between the eyebrows,

About two inches back.

So inside from the forehead.

Getting a sense of this area.

The color is purple.

In this area,

You see and know what your eyes don't.

This is where you can see visualizations.

Sometimes you see them inside.

Sometimes you see them outside.

Right,

Right a couple inches in front of the forehead.

This is where you get any intuitive feelings or thoughts.

Inhale,

Open up this area.

Exhale,

Clear it out.

Release anything that is keeping you from knowing.

Getting a sense now of this area.

Was the color like,

Did you have any visualizations or any intuitive messages that came in when you were clearing and cleansing?

And then I do want you to imagine as if there is a third eye.

Third eyeball here,

And it has an eyelid.

And then just go ahead and close the eyelid.

So we don't,

We want to clear this area,

But we don't want to always leave it open.

And then moving on to the last chakra,

The crown of the head.

I want you to visualize a light shining from the crown of your head all the way up to a source.

And this channel connecting up to a source is full of this beautiful light and free of debris or stagnation.

And you get to choose your source.

Maybe you use words like God or nature,

Or you can even just connect up to the sun or something bigger than you,

Buddha,

Anything.

And just breathing and opening and clearing this channel from the top of your head all the way up to that source.

And then even beginning to imagine that light streaming down through the top of the head,

Traveling down through each of the chakras,

Going down to the third eye,

The throat,

The heart,

The lungs,

The lungs,

The heart,

The sacral right at the belly button,

Or excuse me,

The solar plexus,

Then the sacral,

The pelvis,

And then the root.

So this light is doing any final clearing and cleansing.

I'm going to give you a moment to be here with this part and see where it takes you.

Taking a final moment of wherever you are,

Maybe finishing up anything or taking note,

Or if you feel like you need to re-ground yourself,

You can just open up that root chakra and then connect down into the center of the earth.

Maybe also taking note of any of the chakras that felt like they needed a little bit more awakening or opening.

Come back to your breath.

Come back to the space where you're located.

Feel the support behind you,

Below you.

If you're seated,

Feel your feet on the ground.

You're lying down,

Feel the heels and the back body lying on the ground.

And before we conclude,

We're going to connect to ourselves like we always do.

Whether you want to stack your hands on that heart center,

Whether you just want to bring your awareness there or bring your hands to prayer.

Connecting to your heart again.

Reminding yourself that we are always a work in progress.

We're not perfect.

We're not going to have all of these chakras aligned perfectly all the time.

Knowing that sometimes they are aligned,

Sometimes they need more work.

Being gentle on yourself.

And feeling yourself in the ways that you think are most important in each moment.

Taking care of yourself.

And sometimes it's not effort,

It's relaxing,

Slowing down,

Connecting to yourself.

Take this last moment to connect to yourself in any manner that's authentic.

Sending love or gratitude or a kind message.

And from my heart center to each of yours,

I'm deeply grateful that you joined me this evening.

Namaste.
