This is Marlanda DeKine,
Welcome to your meditation.
When the world around you feels uncertain,
Make time to breathe for yourself.
Make time to listen to yourself.
You are not doing life wrong.
You are not doing this wrong.
Make space.
Make space.
Allow yourself to stretch the parts of your body that you are able to stretch.
Fingers,
Toes,
Let your jaw drop,
Gentle roll of neck,
Side to side,
Forward and back.
Move your arms,
Gently move into the spaces that feel tight,
Constricted,
But only at the pace that your body desires.
Listen to your body.
You are not doing this wrong.
I'd like to move us into a space of breath.
Before we breathe,
Let's set an intention,
A statement,
Something that we are moving closer to.
Let's say that in this space between,
We are here.
In the space between,
You are here.
And that is enough.
You are letting go,
You are letting in,
You are releasing,
You are receiving.
In this space,
In the in-between,
You are here.
When I say breathe in,
I want you to breathe into your stomach,
Your diaphragm.
When I say breathe out,
I want you to part your lips and let the breath slowly leak out.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in.
Hold the breath.
Breathe out.
And if it feels safe to you,
I want you to repeat what I say.
I am enough.
Doing life right.
I am showing up.
I am participating in life.
When I am uncertain,
I am with my life.
When I am uncertain,
I am alive.
I enter the unknown with courage.
I enter the unknown with love.
Take a large breath into your stomach.
Breathe out.
Face your day.
