It is all too easy to get wrapped up in watching influencers on social media and think that influencing en masse is more important than influencing one person. This week we discuss how our thoughts, words, and actions can influence those around us, help others become spiritual, and build a healthier environment for all humanity. | Original airdate: 4/4/22

Good morning,

Everyone.

Good evening,

Good afternoon,

Wherever you are,

And welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost.

My name is Ellie Sheva,

And I am here this beautiful Monday morning with David.

And we are excited to share with you the secrets to becoming a spiritual influencer.

I would say that that's what you are,

David.

The secrets to becoming David Guillaume.

All joking aside,

The Weekly Energy Boost is a seven-day spiritual weather forecast,

And every week we prepare the most powerful and practical wisdom and tools to share with our listeners so that you can take advantage of the energetic broadcast coming through the ether this week.

And this week,

The emphasis,

The focus is really on the power that each individual has to affect their environment with their words,

With their actions.

I think this week more than ever,

We are going to be asked to be careful,

To be cautious,

To be judicious with what we say,

How we say it,

And really the energy that we bring with us even into the rooms that we walk into.

So what that means is that people may misunderstand you.

People may hear what you said backwards.

People may judge you because you sent a text that should have been spoken or vice versa.

And it's really because the universe wants,

Each one of us is allowing us,

Not even once,

Is creating the space for each one of us to go to the next level in our awareness of how impactful we really are,

Not to take that power lightly and to use it to make a difference in the world.

She's like,

What am I doing over here in the corner?

I like spilled something on myself.

I gave you time to clean it up.

Well,

Thank you for that introduction.

To go deeper about what you were talking about,

This week expounds upon the energy of evil speech and how often from a place of lack we say words,

We say things,

We talk out loud because we want energy.

So if it's complaining,

It's putting people down.

If it's putting ourselves down,

These words create angelic forces that are vessels for energy and if it comes from a place of lack,

They become destructive and they hurt us,

Actually impede our progress in everything that we're trying to do.

Often when something you're trying to bring to fruition gets stuck or is taking a long time or there's a lot of people getting in the way,

There's bureaucracy or red tape,

Something you've been working so hard on all of a sudden comes to a standstill.

The deal falls apart.

In a relationship someone gets upset with you for no reason at all and you're just like,

What's going on here?

Why are you so angry?

A lot of the time,

In fact 95% of the time,

This has to do with the negative forces we've created through our words in situations that could have been months or years ago even.

They come back and it says that these forces go and whisper in the ears of the people and inspire them to become our enemy for a moment.

Have you ever seen somebody oppose you in such a way where you're like,

What's going on here?

It's just for like an hour and then all of a sudden it goes back to normal.

Have you ever walked into the room?

Have you ever had a teenager?

I was about to go to the marriage point.

Have you ever had.

.

.

Just you wait.

That's right.

That's right.

It can be with teenagers.

It can be definitely with kids.

When there's opposition,

All of a sudden there's a lot of opposition.

Usually from these negative forces that we've created with our words,

They start to come and reveal themselves when we want to go to our next level.

When a person starts to aspire for another level of receiving energy,

Receiving pleasure,

Receiving greatness.

.

.

Expansion.

Expansion of the vessel,

A lot of the negative forces that we've created through our negative words are awakened.

We have to cleanse them in order to go to our next level.

Now,

If you didn't go to your next level,

Those negative forces would remain dormant.

That is why you wouldn't be challenged.

I've talked about this before,

Running for city council versus the mayor versus the Congress versus the Senate versus the governor versus the president,

Each level you go higher attracts a higher level of scrutiny and ire of the public.

People find more about you.

Why is it all of a sudden if you ran for president of the country,

People would find more dirt about you than if you ran for city council?

It's because there are more negative forces that we've created that become awakened at that higher level.

Those negative forces go whisper in the ears of the press and ears of the public and whatever.

That is why now.

.

.

What's the expression?

The chicken comes home to roost.

Is that the expression?

Something comes home to roost.

I forgot.

It's a great expression.

You should Google it.

I'll take your word for it.

Yes.

No.

I'm not sure I added to our repertoire of amazing sayings.

The point is that this is the week that we can cleanse or supercharge those forces in a big way.

That's why the title is that being an influencer,

It's the way we influence the world is through the creation or the negation of these forces that we create with our mouth.

I think that's one of the big challenges with the way society is these days is that not only is social media a thing,

Which didn't always exist,

Certainly didn't exist when the Kabbalists were writing this wisdom,

But also the far reaches that we're able to achieve,

The reach we're able to have,

Even if you are just a regular person minding their own business and you post something on social media,

You have no idea where it's going to land.

Maybe even 50 years ago,

If you wanted to make something public,

You printed it on a piece of paper and you posted it on a post,

A post in the local square and you hoped enough people passed it to gain awareness.

We're so much more impactful than we ever were as a species,

Not only as David was saying with our words,

But also with our actions.

The science is proven with the butterfly effect,

But the point is that it's almost like everything is magnified.

The focus seems to be for people on reaching the masses when sometimes it's more impactful to have a conversation with one person and what that one person does with it is so much more powerful than a million people glossing over whatever you shared in that one minute.

I think that that's one of the things that we need to ask ourselves this week as well is where am I investing my words?

Am I wasting my words on the wrong things?

Am I wasting my words on the wrong people?

Is the audience that I am maintaining the right audience for me?

And I don't even mean my followers on social media.

That's not even necessarily in your control or do you want to be busy with controlling it?

It's really more of,

Like David was saying,

To me it's like taking inventory.

And I've done workshops with people before where I've asked them,

Monitor yourself,

And maybe this is a good assignment for everyone this week,

Monitor yourself this week,

Not only what you express verbally outside of yourself,

But also your inner,

Your self-talk.

What are the words that you use most consistently?

What are the phrases?

How do you respond even internally?

Sometimes those words come out of your mouth,

But even the phrases,

The language that's on repeat in our minds is going to be either building us or destroying us.

Building around us or destroying those around us.

And that's really also another part of the universe's push this week is how are we using our ability to communicate?

One of the teachings that I think is most powerful around this is that even the physical objects in our midst absorb the energy from what we say.

So you may think,

Okay,

Well let's say I go out to dinner and I sit at a table and the couple who was there before me had a fight.

I might sit at that table and feel like bad vibes.

There's probably a lot of people out there that would agree or attest that they've had a similar experience where they were excited to go somewhere,

They got there and they got a bad vibe.

We're talking more even dramatic impact or influence on our physical environment.

There's a room in,

I don't know if everybody has an office anymore,

But there's a room in every office where people go to have tough conversations.

The conference room,

The whatever room where people go to get fired,

Where people go to have their performance reviews,

Where people go to whatever,

Everybody has that room.

Imagine the energy in that room where everybody's getting fired or imagine the energy in the room where everybody's being criticized or constructively of course,

But I'm sure that in some places it's not so constructive.

Or we've heard over the last few years so many incidences of abuse or misconduct.

What happens in a room where misconduct is happening over and over and over again?

The czar says that literally the walls are diseased and should be destroyed.

We wonder sometimes why we get locked into those habits or moods.

Why am I always in a bad mood when I come home?

I've heard people say that before.

I leave the house in a great mood.

I come home and I'm in a bad mood.

It may literally be the four walls that you sit in as your office all day long that have been for so many years absorbing that negativity.

Maybe what I'm sharing is not the most practical wisdom,

But the reality is first of all,

There are ways that you can cleanse that.

It's not that there isn't technology or methodology to remove negative energy from a physical space,

But the realization is,

Again,

This week's energy,

And it's not my words,

This is the wisdom of Kabbalah,

We have no idea how powerful,

How much we can influence and make a difference to our environment.

The universe wants us to ask ourselves this week,

What are we doing or not doing that we should be doing?

Poor David.

No,

That's okay.

That's good.

As you were talking,

I was thinking about the most powerful energy that we can give off is when we're not upset with other people and we're finding ways to go deep inside of ourselves and resolve that.

So a lot of times we carry this burden around of being upset with others,

Blaming others,

And we're not really going deep down inside and talking with the Creator and saying,

Well,

Why did you bring so and so into my movie?

What is this meant to teach me?

How can I elevate myself?

And it's that very conversation that actually creates this positive atomic energy inside you that shines around the people around you and the world.

And so most people,

Especially this week,

This is the energy that exists.

If we don't go deep inside of ourselves and talk with the Creator,

We will look outside of ourselves for energy and destruction with our words.

So usually when people are talking too much to other people,

It's because they're not talking to the Creator enough.

That's usually the balance that doesn't happen.

If I'm talking about you,

I'm talking with you,

If I'm complaining,

It's because I'm not taking the time to really sit by myself and talk out loud with the Creator and start to have a dialogue.

We've talked about this many a time.

The true solution to all of our problems is to take the time and ask the Creator for help out loud,

Not just in your head.

Kabbalists are clear about this.

Your words have to be audible because the audible words become the vessel to hold the energy of the light.

And you don't want to silo your problems.

If you silo them,

Your body will have a visceral reaction,

You will feel bitterness,

And you will be passive aggressive.

And then eventually that will manifest as negative speech and a whole host of other ways that we lash out at people.

So we have to take the time,

Especially since we're two weeks away from this awesome energy of the 15th of Aries,

The full moon of Aries,

Which is the energy that comes from the upper world that breaks us free from our addictions.

I think we've talked a lot about this.

We'll talk more about it next week.

This is the time where the energy comes in and rips apart from you,

That which is holding you back.

So if you're experiencing a shakeup,

If you're experiencing revelations of old negative belief systems that you want to let go of,

If you're seeing that you're getting separated from an old partner or relationship that's been mediocre or toxic,

This is actually a very positive thing.

This is the universe's way of supporting us,

Becoming the best version of ourselves.

So don't fight it.

Go through the pain.

Don't react to the pain.

Don't complain about the pain.

Don't speak bad about other people because you think they are the ones putting you through pain.

This is all divinely orchestrated to push you forward to your next level because it's what you've been praying for.

You bring up a really important point that I'm not sure I was thinking of when we first sat down this morning.

Sometimes people come to you.

I don't mean you,

David Guillaume.

I mean you,

Human being.

Sometimes people come to us and they want to complain.

Or they seem like they're asking for advice but they're not really.

They're just venting or they want to hear themselves talk,

As you said before.

How do you respond to that?

Or how do you know what to respond?

What's the process?

Respond to what exactly?

I'm coming to you and I'm venting.

Or I'm complaining.

Venting about what?

Something going on in your own life?

Something going on in my own life.

Not economics,

Not government,

Not some outside issue.

Something personal.

I come to you and I dump my stuff on you.

Are you supposed to give me advice?

Are you supposed to help me?

How do we.

.

.

The dumping means that there's a.

.

.

The dumping is because you're at an impasse where you wanted something.

You wanted a next level,

Whether you're conscious of it or not.

Then a corresponding challenge came to help you earn it.

I don't mean a challenge that has to do with that very thing you want.

It could be a challenge that is bringing up some negativity that you haven't dealt with.

Spiritually,

If you deal with that negativity,

You'll be granted access to this new pleasure.

You're at this impasse and instead of breaking through the impasse and letting go of the negativity,

There are forces that are causing you to fight to hold on to the negativity.

The venting is really just a way to get some relief before you push through and break through.

Hopefully you do break through.

Hopefully you decide to let go.

What's the role of the person being vented to?

The person that's listening?

The person that's listening is a couple of things.

One is not to be affected by it.

I think oftentimes we listen to people and then we get lost in it and we get affected by it.

Number two,

The goal in mind needs to be,

Well,

How do I be a channel for this person so that they never have to go through this problem again?

How do I give them the tools,

Whether I implicitly say that or maybe I say nothing,

But energetically they feel it so that they can become like the creator moving on?

That's the meditation that I was given,

We were given from our teachers because I want to nip it in the bud.

I don't want them to feel like they come vent about the same thing over and over again.

You bring up,

This is really powerful because I think a lot of people in their family circles,

In their social circles will have one friend coming to them and talking about another friend.

Even in work,

You may have somebody who's on your level coming to talk to you about someone else on the team and what do we do about it?

The concept of being a spiritual influencer is not just about social media and it's not just about I want my partner or my kids to have more consciousness.

It's really in every situation,

And I hope I understood you right,

We want to elevate and empower and add value in every situation,

Even if sometimes it means not saying a word and just meditating on it.

Just because somebody comes to you and says,

I have a problem,

What should I do about it?

It doesn't mean you're supposed to solve it or you need to strategize for them.

Sometimes if you don't feel like you're a channel and you feel like maybe you have an agenda or maybe you want to feel good about yourself talking,

Just say I don't know right now,

Think about it.

I can say nine out of 10 times when I do that,

Within a day they figure out what to do.

Something about also your restriction of not getting involved from your own agenda reveals the energy that solves the problem for them.

That also works personally,

By the way.

I should interject.

Sometimes I've given this advice and I've taken this advice before,

Sometimes you are presented with,

To me it happens a lot with email.

To me email is not an urgent thing.

When someone's standing in front of you and tells you to jump off a cliff,

That is an immediate thing you need to address.

But if somebody tells you by email,

You don't have to react right away.

The tendency often is to react right away regardless,

To hit reply and to respond with lightning speed fingers.

That's not always the best way to go about it.

What I have found is that,

As David said before,

Restricting,

Not responding immediately,

Allowing the system,

The situation to take care of itself or the person to,

It happens to me at least weekly where I say,

You know what,

I want to answer,

I'm not going to answer right now and we'll leave some space for the creator to take care of it.

Inevitably the response comes in a few minutes later or a day later or two days later,

I figured it out,

Never mind or oh my goodness,

It's on my end,

I'm sorry or I can't believe I said that,

I'm so embarrassed.

It does take care of itself.

I think that the level,

What David was saying,

Being a channel,

Sometimes being a channel means knowing it's not the right time or it doesn't need to be addressed or it's going to work itself out.

Channeling is not just intuiting the right words,

Sometimes it's intuiting the silence,

Knowing that it's best to stay quiet right now and realizing that sometimes my greatest strength or my greatest power is to send good thoughts.

I think it's also when you say being a channel,

People want to know practically,

What do I feel like when I'm a channel?

I want to know if this is working and I think whatever answer I give now will be expired in a couple of years anyway.

So let's just say I need to say what I know now.

I know that for me,

If I feel totally disconnected from what I'm saying and the campus actually write about this,

When it just rolls off your tongue but you don't feel connected to it,

That's when you're being a channel.

You don't think about it.

It's just coming out of your mouth almost like someone else is speaking but there's no emotional charge.

There's no attachment to what you're saying.

There's no overthinking about it and you don't even feel rushed to say it.

Have you ever seen in conversations,

People are so uncomfortable with the silence that they're rushing to say things or get things out of it?

It's like it doesn't matter what the words are,

The energy feels that it's not coming from the right place because everyone's.

.

.

If you're talking because you're afraid about what the other person is going to say,

Not going to say,

It's awkward or whatever,

Then you're not channeling.

So channeling you have to not.

.

.

That's I think the power of pausing.

That if you're rushing,

If you have to get in that last word,

If you're uncomfortable with the silence,

You're not pausing and the Kabbalists basically pause a million times a day because it's in that pausing that you create the opportunity to feel,

To be guided,

To receive the download of the right words or the right advice or the wisdom to keep your mouth shut.

But if you don't even pause,

You can't choose.

If you're not choosing by default,

You're being controlled by,

As David was saying,

Sometimes it's even just a force outside of yourself that's wreaking havoc.

So we want to be especially mindful.

It's also.

.

.

We didn't really talk about this too much,

But we're now in the month of Aries.

This is the today.

Monday is the third day of the month of Aries.

And Aries is special on the Kabbalistic calendar because it's the beginning of the zodiac.

It's the beginning of the energetic cycle of the signs.

And every day in these first 12 days of the month of Aries controls another day of the year.

So the first day of Aries controls the month of Aries,

As does every first day of every month.

The second day of Aries controls the month of Taurus.

The third day of Aries controls the month of Gemini and so on.

So the challenge,

It's so both ironic and beautiful at the same time,

The challenge in this period to be so mindful,

To be so cautious,

To be so intentional is that Aries are.

.

.

First of all,

They're the child of the zodiac.

So they're the most impulsive,

Impetuous,

Reactive,

Reactionary.

And it's also Aries is controlled by the.

.

.

The constellation of Aries is the ram.

And we know that rams tend to butt their heads,

Not only with others,

But with inanimate objects.

And at the same time,

The universe is asking us to be in this zen state for at least the first 12 days,

Being mindful,

Following the guidance of the Kabbalists.

It's just so.

.

.

That's why I said it's ironic and very powerful at the same time,

Because it's probably the hardest time of the year to inject that level of mindfulness and carefulness about what we say and how we say it and what we do.

At the same time,

If we're able to master that impulsivity,

That reactiveness,

Reactionaryism,

I don't know what it's called,

We ensure for ourselves a far better year than we were headed toward without that mindfulness.

So the Kabbalists really emphasize how important it is in these few days.

It ends nine days from now,

So I guess it would probably be Wednesday of next week.

But it's a very powerful time to rein it in and to take stock and to be aware that whatever's coming up for me is not only coming up for me,

It's also an opportunity for me to be the best version of me that I can be so that whatever thing I'm grappling with in this moment doesn't affect me the entire month of Gemini or the entire month of Virgo or what have you.

I love it.

I knew you would.

I love what you just said.

What's the wrap up takeaway for our audience?

I said a couple of things.

We said that this is the week to either supercharge or cleanse.

A lot of the negative words that we've said that have created dormant negative forces,

We learned that these negative forces will emerge gradually as we seek higher and higher levels of fulfillment,

Pleasure,

Expansion as you said,

Expansion of the vessel.

They start to come out and what they do is often whisper in the ears of people around us and whisper negative words about us and they're causing people to oppose us,

Create opposition.

So we can't blame the people.

Remember,

It's the negative forces that we created that are influencing the people.

This is the week that we can most cleanse it.

We can meditate on that and be superconscious of it.

So for every time you pause,

You talked about pause,

We both did,

Every time you pause when you want to say something that has reacted,

You're actually cleansing thousands,

Millions of these negative forces that we've created in the past,

This week especially.

This is also the next couple of weeks that are preparing us for the energy of what's called Passover that is a universal cosmic force that has already begun to enter our lives to help us disconnect from anything that is unhealthy.

So if we're experiencing loss,

If we're experiencing a breakup,

If we're experiencing a detangling of an energy that for a long time maybe deep down and say we knew we needed to get rid of and now it's happening or something's coming up to the surface which means we need to deal with it,

That's what the energy of Aries and Passover does a couple of weeks before it starts to cleanse us and it's supporting us,

It's not hurting us.

Sit in the pain.

Don't react to the pain,

Talk about it in many different ways.

It's important to feel the pain.

Feeling the pain is how you get rid of the pain.

I want to just share one quick story just so that you know you make a difference,

Not you David but our listeners.

I mean David you also make a difference obviously.

We wouldn't be sitting here week after week if it wasn't making a difference but it happened to me and this goes back to one of the first things we talked about where with social media you can say something and a million people can see it whether they like it or not is something else but we're so hyper exposed these days.

Years ago in the Kabbalah Center my job,

One of my jobs in the evenings was standing at the front door and welcoming people and directing them,

Oh this is the class you're going to,

Go to classroom three,

This is your class,

Go to this room and just giving a general warm feeling.

So I did that for a number of years and then I moved and things changed and whatever and about 12 years later if I'm not mistaken I was at an international event.

We used to have these ginormous international events and a guy came up to me and he said,

Elisha I have to thank you and I said what for and he said if you hadn't been so kind to me all those years ago,

If you hadn't remembered every week what was going on with me,

My mom was in the hospital once and you kept checking about it or you remembered what you know when I told you what I had going on at work,

You checked about it a couple weeks later,

You always remember,

You always thought about me,

You always listened and I wouldn't still be coming if not for you.

And I thought to myself like oh that's so sweet but then afterwards I realized I didn't think I was doing anything major by remembering his mom was in the hospital or asking him about the gig he was putting together.

Back then I was just trying to be nice and trying to uplift everybody who walked in the door and trying to help them leave behind,

You know they're coming to a spiritual class,

They are coming to connect and hopefully get a boost of energy like in our podcast and I wasn't really worried about is he going to still be here 12 years later coming to events and whatnot and I'm sharing that just as an example because we don't always realize how far a kind word will go or how much asking someone how they are and actually listening,

The American thing of you know not listening to the answer,

We can do away with that especially in this week but the idea that we can say things that are so tiny and seemingly inconsequential when in fact they're making all the difference and hopefully we'll all go into the coming week realizing how much of a difference our words can make both for good and for not so good.

Have a fabulous spiritually influential week and we'll see you next time on the Weekly Energy Boost.

This was the most impactful talk that I have listened to on Insight Timer. It came at the perfect time to help me make the decision to end a 25 year long relationship with a friend who spilled so much vitriol on me when I phoned her to give her the news that my husband had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Things that supposedly happened several years ago and up to the present time were thrown at me. It was completely unexpected and hurt so badly. So thank you and your husband for shedding light on my situation. 🙏❤️🙏
