Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.

My name is Ellie Shoja.

I am your host.

I am a positive mindset coach,

A personal transformation expert.

I am your peace trainer and a deliberate creator.

And Unleash Your Peace is kind of a peace training.

It is the podcast where every single week we dive into a different aspect of the internal world and we do that so that we can start shedding all of this extra weight,

All this excess unwanted pain we are carrying with us from year to year so that we can tap into a lasting internal peace and live our best lives yet.

That's exactly what happens when we live from a place of joy and peace and connectedness to that infinite potential part of ourselves.

We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives when we do that.

We exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane and that's how we level up.

We become our whole beautiful,

Powerful selves.

We live authentic lives and we live out our dreams in this lifetime on this planet with a lot of joy.

When you do this,

You become an uplifter.

You cannot help but to uplift and inspire those around you.

And that's essentially how we level up as a society by each person doing this private personal internal work and then them leveling up and everybody levels up and we all lift up together.

So this week we are talking about this connection between the mind and the body.

We've talked about spontaneous healing.

We've talked about making ourselves sick,

Making ourselves well again,

What it means to be in alignment with our inner being and what it means to be in misalignment with our inner being.

Today,

As we conclude this,

I want to talk a little bit about food.

Food is perhaps one of the things that we take for granted the most.

Our relationship with our food is so important.

It actually should be,

In my opinion,

One of the most important relationships we have because the food we eat directly goes into our body.

What relationship do you have that is more intimate than that?

This food enters your cells.

It interacts with you on a molecular cellular level.

It is very surprising to me when I see people mindlessly putting stuff into their mouth and into their bodies and not really paying attention to what they're eating.

This brings me to an interesting question.

Is there a perfect diet?

Is there an ideal diet?

Is there a diet that is right for this kind of living mindfully?

And I will tell you from my experience,

I'm not a dietitian and I'm not a doctor.

None of those things,

But I can tell you from my experience that I actually don't think there is a perfect diet.

I don't think that things are either good for you or bad for you.

I think that it is our relationship with food that determines whether or not that food is good or bad for us.

And I tell you this because from the moment I started listening to my body and yes,

Our bodies talk to us just like the universe speaks to us.

Our bodies speak to us.

They tell us exactly what it is.

We should be eating and we should not be eating.

And for me,

What I should be eating,

What my body tells me I need to eat and not eat are going to be different from what your body tells you you should eat and not eat.

So there isn't a one diet that is right for everybody.

I truly,

Truly,

Truly believe that this is a very subjective thing and it is a relationship.

It really is a relationship.

The same way that we don't tell people how to raise their kids or what religion to have.

By the way,

On those fronts,

I think there are many right ways to raise your children.

It is about the relationship you have with your child and with religion,

It's about the relationship you have with your faith.

So these things are relationship based and one of those things that is relationship based is your relationship to food.

Now I have always been doing weird things with my food.

There are multiple things I don't eat.

There are some things that I eat that other people don't eat and it's always a little bit difficult for me to try and explain why I do certain things with my diet other than it makes me feel better.

I actually feel like I vibrate at a higher frequency when I eat the way that I eat.

I have personally morally nothing against eating animals for example,

But I don't eat animals because I don't like the way my body feels when I am digesting meat,

When I'm digesting beef or chicken.

I do still eat fish because I don't feel the drop in my vibration when I eat seafood.

I don't like the way my body feels when I drink alcohol or when I eat sugar,

You know,

Simple sugars,

Added sugars to my food.

So those things mess with my vibration.

I don't do it.

I don't eat them and I'm totally perfectly fine with it.

I don't eat a lot of dairy for that same reason.

But this type of diet did not come out of reading it in a book or anything like that.

It just came out of me not feeling right and then saying to myself literally every time I sat down at a table,

I would say,

Let me crave and want the things that are going to make me feel better and let me not want the things that are not going to make me feel good.

Every single time I had food in front of me,

I would say this little prayer for myself and incredibly I would know exactly what I want and what I don't want.

And I remember when I started doing this a few years ago,

Within the span of two weeks eating,

I had already stopped eating sugar by then.

It had been four years since I'd stopped eating sugar.

But within the span of two weeks,

I stopped eating meat,

Dairy,

Alcohol and caffeine.

So essentially I became an alcohol and caffeine free vegan within two weeks and I felt incredibly wonderful.

I didn't feel like my body needed anything.

Now,

The most amazing thing is that as the months were going by,

I would feel kind of cravings for different types of foods that later I found out they have different nutritional qualities that supplemented my dairy free,

Meat free diet.

Even without knowing anything about nutrition,

I was able to consume a balanced diet because I was listening to my body.

Now,

I don't eat like that still.

I introduced certain things back.

For example,

I felt like I needed to eat seafood every once in a while and every once in a while I do.

I eat eggs.

Every once in a while I'll consume dairy.

Not very regularly and not a lot of it,

But I listen to my body and I notice that anytime I need something,

That my body needs something,

It tells me what it needs and I can provide that for it.

So I guess the takeaway here is don't be so hard on trying to figure out what the right diet is.

Again,

Just like everything else,

Just like anything else we've been talking about in this podcast,

Looking inward and listening to that internal wisdom that lives within you is the right answer here as well.

I remember I came to pour coffee for myself one morning and I was consuming three or four cups of coffee every single day.

I had a coffee pot in my hand and it was about to pour into that cup and I just knew that I needed to put that down and I said,

Crap,

Because I just knew,

I just knew I had to put that coffee pot down.

Coffee was another one of those things.

I had to give up and I knew it and I put it down.

I was shaking my head because I also knew I would have headaches and I did for about a week.

I had withdrawals,

But it felt wonderful to listen to my body and as you listen to it,

As you pay attention to the signals and the messages it's telling you,

It's giving you,

You will notice that it speaks with you very,

Very clearly.

It tells you exactly what you need to know,

What you need to do,

And there is no mistaking its voice.

It speaks in a whisper,

So you have to quiet your mind in order to hear it,

But once you hear it,

There's no mistaking it.

So I will leave you with this.

I hope you found this week's topic inspiring.

I hope you found it thought provoking and I hope it inspired you to dig a little bit more deeply even into yourself and next week we will come back with a brand new topic and that'll be another really exciting one because all of them so far have been quite exciting.
