Hello,
Hello.
Welcome to this meditation.
This is a anxiety meditation.
It's great for when you want to relax,
Gain some mastery over the moment,
Whatever you're dealing with.
And also just for having a deepening of your meditation practice.
It's especially good if you're dealing with anxiety.
During this meditation,
You'll have the opportunity to reset your nervous system,
Chill out,
And take on a wonderful feeling of gratitude in the body.
So when you're ready,
Settle into a cross-legged posture with the hands open facing upward.
And we want to maintain a straight back with its natural curves.
Gently close your eyes and mouth when ready.
When was the last time that you truly had a day of no responsibilities?
A day where everything is just about you and what you really want to do.
No bills,
No people,
No pressure of jobs.
Just you and your space and relaxing in the most peaceful way you know how.
When was the last time you did that?
There is so much to be grateful for,
While simultaneously so much to be responsible for.
Being a human being.
What this is to be alive.
It can be daunting at times,
And that is where the juice of life is waiting for us.
In between being grateful for everything and interacting with your responsibilities.
Whether you enjoy the process or not is entirely up to you.
When we take the time to be quiet and still,
We can better manage our minds.
We take the power back from our chaotic brain activity and we create responsibility.
Responsibility for this mind,
For this power,
For this opportunity to lead our lives.
My body is a structure of peace.
Your body is a structure of peace.
Our bodies are structures of peace.
My body is a structure of peace.
Your body is a structure of peace.
Our bodies are structures of peace.
My body is a structure of love and light.
Your body is a structure of love and light.
Our bodies are structures of love and light.
My body is a structure of love and light.
Your body is a structure of love and light.
Our bodies are structures of love and light.
The kind of breath you have shows a lot about your health and your experience of being alive.
Take the next few moments to focus on the breath and allow it to be complete and effortless.
Again,
Take the next few moments to focus on the breath and allow it to be complete and effortless.
As you find your rhythm,
Balance your focus upon the feeling of being still and silent.
Feeling the air gently come in through the nostrils,
Pass down through the chest and into the lower abdomen,
Expanding until full then gently releasing.
Feeling the abdomen shrink,
Effortlessly in and out,
Allow that gentle breath to massage the body.
With each exhale,
Gently give yourself permission to release anything,
Whatever it may be,
Let it be and then direct it out of the body,
Out of the human experience and feel it leave.
The more you breathe,
The more it leaves.
The more it leaves,
The more space you feel within you is clear,
Weightless,
Spacious.
Being responsible for the breath also means that you gain a taste of its ability to change the way you think,
Feel and act.
Your breath is an expression of your consciousness.
How graceful can your breath become?
Any thoughts are just clouds passing by your great blue sky mind.
Any sensations in the body are simply there,
Breathe through it.
Any emotions that show up can be acknowledged and then put back down.
Feel your breath flow from the top of your head down through your entire body to the tips of your toes.
Each breath is calming your nervous system and filling your body with a warm,
Soothing light.
There's nowhere I need to be but here.
I am safe and finding ways to cultivate a state of harmony.
My body is creating a chemistry of peace.
Serenity fills my experience of being.
I feel good.
I am here.
There's nowhere I need to be but here.
I am safe and finding ways to cultivate a state of harmony.
My body is creating a chemistry of peace.
Serenity fills my experience of being.
I feel good.
I am here.
There's nowhere I need to be but here.
I am safe and finding ways to cultivate a state of harmony.
My body is creating a chemistry of peace.
Serenity fills my experience of being.
I feel good.
I am here.
Getting ready to return in a moment allows something you're grateful for to come to mind.
Let the feeling of gratitude radiate throughout the body and feel what takes place in your heart.
Feel how your heart opens up even if it's just a little bit.
Let this power,
Let this charge of gratitude vitalize you as you choose how you'd like to go forward in your day.
Holding onto that feeling of gratitude.
Take a deep,
Slow breath as you bring your attention back into the room and ready to go forward into your day.
