Using a simple Neuro Linguistic Programming technique, you can bring even more confidence into your present moment experience. Blending positive memories, the visualisation process, and a simple physical action to create an "anchor", a physical stimulus that recalls the feeling of confidence into the present moment. The more times you do this, the stronger it becomes. Simple and effective.

We have a library of memories within our unconscious mind.

Sometimes the mind is focused on all the negative experiences,

Dwelling on the past,

All the mistakes that we think we made,

Forgetting that we have an abundance of wonderful memories too,

Even just the little big things in life.

Using this archive to our advantage can be a wonderful way to create change in our life,

To transform our emotional state in the present moment.

This is a closed eye process that you can do anytime,

Anywhere,

Provided you're undisturbed and you're not operating any machinery.

And be mindful to use this with intention.

This is not a technique to run to,

To quickly shift how you're feeling in the present moment,

Because you want to avoid or run away from whatever you're feeling currently.

This is a simple technique that's very powerful and effective that can help you connect to a wonderful confident state anytime you wish.

Though it's not a quick fix to ignore any important emotions that may be arising.

So if you are in a state where you're noticing sadness,

Fear,

Anger,

Pay attention to that.

Listen to those emotions,

Notice where they are in the body.

Listen and learn from them first and find a creative outlet that you can express those constructively.

And then after that,

You can use this technique if you wish to gain more confidence,

To step into your confidence and to really embrace the power within.

Close your eyes and think back to a time when you felt totally confident.

The time in the past where you felt so great about yourself and your capabilities.

This could be about something really small,

Or it could be a big achievement that you've achieved in your life.

Float back down into your body at that time.

See what you saw,

Hear what you heard,

And really feel that confidence becoming stronger and stronger with every breath.

Allowing that wave of confidence to flow through your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

And notice what color that confidence is.

Imagine that color flowing through your body,

That color of confidence with every breath becoming stronger and stronger.

And imagine that color flowing through your body all the way down your right arm now into your hand.

Capture hold of that color,

That color of confidence.

Gently clenching your right hand,

Forming a fist,

Capturing hold of that confidence,

That color of confidence,

Breathing in deeply,

Really feeling that.

Notice what you say to yourself when you feel confident.

And then relaxing your hand,

Opening your eyes,

Looking around the room,

And name three different things within your environment.

This is a quick break state to come back to the present moment.

Once you've done that,

Once again,

Close your eyes,

Gently form a fist shape with your right hand.

Imagine that color.

Notice what changes within your physiology.

How does your breath respond?

And then let that go.

This is a simple anchor that you can use anytime,

Anywhere to connect with confidence.

And even simply just imagining that color,

Not using the clenching of your fist,

Or even simply just connecting to that memory can be a wonderful way to access more confidence and to notice what those changes are.

Often coming back to a state of confidence means lifting the head up high,

Rolling the shoulders back,

Breathing in deeply,

And connecting to that inner power.

So give this a try and practice this.

The more times you practice,

It'll become easier.

And remember that you have a wonderful archive of beautiful memories that you can use to your advantage.

Memories that can bring that feeling,

That sensation into the present moment.
