Enjoy this relaxing meditation designed to help you release stress, reset and regulate your nervous system. This meditation is around 12 minutes long and can be used any time you wish to relax, ground in and come into balance with your body. You can expect to feel grounded, relaxed, and balanced after working with this meditation.

Transcript

Welcome to my nervous system regulation meditation.

I first of all just want you to make sure that you're comfortable in the seat that you're in and that you won't be disturbed throughout the duration of this meditation.

And when you're ready you can close your eyes and start to take gentle breaths in.

And on the exhale just releasing any stress or tension from your day so far.

Just letting it melt away in your body.

And we're going to do this in equal measure.

So breathing in for five seconds,

Holding for five seconds and releasing for five seconds.

If at any point this feels unmanageable then please reduce it to an amount of time that feels right to you.

You should now start to feel relaxed and I want you through your mind's eye with your eyes closed still.

So just focus on your breath and focus on your body.

Just taking gentle inhales in and bringing your focus to your body,

To your breath and to this moment.

And I want you now to breathe in through your feet.

So bringing that breath up through your feet.

And on your next inhale breathing in through the feet once more and feeling this breath go all the way up to your chest.

And finally breathing in now through the feet one last time and bringing this breath all the way up to your head.

And just bringing your breath back now to a gentle and steady inhale and exhale.

And I want you now to imagine a beautiful brown smoky quartz grounding cord coming out from your root chakra and going all the way through the building that you're in and the floors now.

Moving all the way down through the ceilings through the floors until it reaches the foundations of the building or house that you're in.

And this cord now breaks through and moves into the earth going further and further down now.

And this grounding smoky quartz root continues to go all the way down into the earth until it reaches the center of the earth.

And you notice in the center of the earth there's a crystal.

I just want you to notice what crystal you're choosing today.

And your beautiful brown smoky quartz roots now wrap around this crystal anchoring grounding and centering you in.

And just notice how your energy may have shifted even just by connecting to Mother Earth.

And I want you now to just send anything down this cord that is no longer serving you,

That feels heavy,

Dysregulating or stressful.

And with every exhale allowing this to flow down through your body and into this cord and flowing all the way down into Mother Earth to be cleared and transmuted for the highest good of all.

With every exhale just feeling this release from you and your body now.

And when you're ready I want you to place and when you're ready I want you to place a hand on your heart and a hand on your stomach on your physical body.

And just feeling the soft sensation and touch of your hands.

I just want you to breathe deeply into your hands feeling the rise and fall of your chest.

And just feel your nervous system relaxing,

Calming and expanding through the soft touch of your hands and your breath.

Just feeling that nervous system slowing down,

Calming down and feeling safe.

And with your hands on your body I want you to repeat these affirmations to yourself.

It is safe to be in my body.

It is safe to be in the present moment.

It is safe to release what is causing this dysregulation.

Just breathing into your hands,

Breathing into your body and breathing into that beautiful nervous system.

Feeling it expand,

Regulate and feel at peace.

And I want you now to bring your focus to your stomach.

And in your stomach you feel any stress,

Pressure or dysregulation in a ball of energy in your stomach.

And this energy feels scrunched up.

It feels constrictive.

You might see a color.

It might be dark colors,

Red angry colors.

Just notice how this scrunched up energy with all this anxiety and fear and dysregulation and stress and pressure and expectations.

Just see this scrunched up energy now almost vibrating,

Moving through your body.

And a white golden light of the most divine pure light is now going to flow through your crown chakra at the top of your head and is now pouring through like a liquid light,

Pouring through your crown chakra,

Your third eye chakra,

All the way through your head and your neck,

Moving into your throat chakra,

Moving down your chest and your arms to your heart chakra,

Moving down your torso to your solar plexus,

To your sacral chakra,

To your hips,

Your root chakra,

Down to your legs,

All the way to your toes.

And this white liquid golden light is releasing this scrunched up energy now and clearing and transmuting it from your system,

Your nervous system and your body.

And you feel the scrunched up energy just instantly exhaling,

Unfolding,

Unwrapping,

Expanding and transmuting.

It now flows like energy.

It's now white this energy like the light.

And the stress and tension has simply dissolved.

And just seeing this now continuing to melt into the white golden light,

It's melting and turning into liquid.

And this white liquid energy is now going to flow out the bottom of your feet,

Down your grounding cord and releasing the stuck and stagnant dysregulation energy into the earth.

So seeing this white liquid light pouring down now through this cord,

Moving all the way down to that crystal in the center of the earth.

And Mother Earth is clearing and transmuting this away from you now.

And as the white liquid energy leaves your body fully,

I just want you to notice how you feel.

And how your stomach feels where that scrunched up energy used to be.

Just noticing a quietness in your nervous system and the peace,

Calm and regulation.

I just want you to take a grounding cleansing breath in.

And on the exhale thinking the word release.

And I now want you to repeat these affirmations out loud after me.

My breath is my anchor,

Steady and gentle.

Every exhale releases what I no longer need to carry.

My nervous system softens with compassion and care.

It is safe for me to rest,

To slow down and to receive with ease.

And just breathing in all that goodness and the healing energy from this meditation.

And just feeling your body expand,

Exhale and relax.

And as you start to come back into your body you can just start to move your hands and just start to move your feet.

And just feel yourself effortlessly grounding back in.

I just want you to notice what's shifted since the beginning of this meditation.

And how you feel now.

Feeling lighter,

Feeling brighter,

Feeling at peace and at calm.

When you're ready you can open your eyes.

I really hope this meditation has served you and you're feeling nice and relaxed,

Grounded and regulated.

And of course you can come back and do this at any time you wish to ground and center in.
