Hello and welcome to this morning meditation.
I'd like you to begin to notice how good it can feel to just be.
No need to search for perfection,
Just this simple feeling of being alive.
Say to yourself gently,
Right now I am safe,
And right now I am allowed to feel good.
Notice even the tiniest sensation of lightness within you,
A glimmer of peace,
A moment of gratitude or maybe a subtle smile forming on your face.
Let these words float through you,
You don't need to try to believe them,
You just need to hear them and breathe.
I deserve to feel good.
Feeling good is natural to me.
I let go of the need to rush.
Today I choose ease,
Joy and flow.
I welcome the goodness life has to offer.
Breathe in calm and breathe out tension.
As you breathe out,
Imagine it as a massive sigh of relief where you are letting go any energy from yesterday or lingering from the week before.
You just release it into the air,
You let it go,
It no longer exists other than out there.
With that you can take another sigh of relief and recognize that today is a new day.
With that recognition you let yourself in your mind arrive in a new scene.
You are standing barefoot on a warm golden sandy beach,
The sun is shining,
Bright but not too hot and the ocean sparkles nearby with waves dancing gently,
Laughter echoes all around you.
You look around and see your friends,
Your family,
Your favorite people,
Even joyful strangers gathered together.
Someone is tossing a beach ball into the air,
Others are running,
Leaping,
Diving,
Laughing,
Carefree like children again.
No one is worried,
No one is comparing or judging,
Everyone is just playing,
Being and enjoying.
You feel your own smile widen,
Your body moves with ease across the sand,
You throw the ball,
You catch the laughter and you spin in the sunlight.
This,
This is life,
This is your recognition in this moment,
Simple,
Joyful and shared.
And you let this visualization of play remind you that life isn't only about doing,
It's about being,
It's about the joy and it's about the moments like this.
And with that you decide to take that mantra into the rest of your day,
A decision to make sure that the present moment is forever with you and joy stays with you.
You take a deep breath in and feel that freedom and you once again let your air out and you just release that need to please and embrace the joy of the now.
And as you choose to return to your day,
You carry this lightness with you and you have remembered that you are allowed to have fun because life is better that way.
