Hello and welcome to this guided sound meditation for nurses.

Our world as we know it this past year has left many of us with heaviness,

Burnout,

Uncertainty and overall fatigue.

As a nurse you have endured a heavy burden only we can understand as a collective.

We have witnessed suffering,

Pain,

Fear and even at times you may have sacrificed your own health for others.

What I ask of you for this next little while is to put that heaviness on your shoulders to the side.

Allow your body and mind to relax.

You are so worthy of this brief time of relaxation.

We can only control so much in our world and for now I ask that you release control and just be.

If you haven't already done so begin by getting yourself in a comfortable position.

Stretching any area that needs to loosen slightly.

When you are ready close your eyes and take a long deep inhale.

Inhaling through your nose,

Holding it for a moment and releasing through an open mouth.

Inhale and hold.

Let it go.

Once more holding in the oxygen to nourish your body and exhale,

Emptying your lungs fully.

As your body begins to relax take notice of how you are feeling physically,

Emotionally.

Don't try to analyze or overthink it,

Just notice.

If there is any area of uncertainty or discomfort,

Breathe into this area.

Know that you are doing the best you can and meditating looks different for everyone.

If you find your mind wandering,

Gently bring awareness back to your breath.

Allow the feelings of your body and mind to be present as the sounds progress and take you on an inner journey,

A journey to a place of deep inner stillness.

Enjoy.

You you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you begin to bring awareness back to your breath this moment this moment as you awaken notice the warmth notice the warmth inside you your cells buzzing from the vibrations of sound notice and appreciate this moment of peace and serenity you are refreshed and rejuvenated cleansed and cleared these challenging times are encouraging us to trust trust that we have the power to control what we can and the strength to release what we cannot we must continue to come together as a community help each other heal fill our empty cups so that we can continue helping others at this time I invite you to take a large deep breath in through your nose and out through an open mouth perhaps releasing what has shifted throughout you during this sound meditation when you are ready and only when you are ready I invite you to slowly open your eyes may you go about your day or evening with peace and relaxation thank you so much for tuning in and meditating with me I am so honored to be a nurse alongside you all if this sound meditation was helpful to you please share it with a friend in need Thank you for watching
