Welcome.

This short practice is here to help you gently let go of the day,

The effort,

The tension,

The mental noise you may still be carrying.

This is simply a space to soften and allow your body to settle.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Let your shoulders drop away from your ears.

And when you feel ready,

Gently closing down the eyes or softening your gaze.

Begin by noticing your breath,

Its natural rhythm,

The way it moves in and out of the body like a wave coming in and out of the shore.

No need to change anything,

Just noticing.

Feel the support beneath you,

The chair or the floor,

The ground holding your weight.

Allow yourself to arrive here.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine a little more of the day releasing.

Nothing dramatic,

Just a small softening.

The shoulders easing,

The jaw unclenching,

The belly relaxing.

You don't have to carry everything with you into this moment.

It's safe to let some of it down.

Let the breath be slow and easy,

In through the nose and out through the nose or mouth,

Whatever feels good for you.

Each exhale is an invitation to soften just a little more.

To come out of doing and into simply being.

If the mind wanders,

That's okay.

Gently return to the feeling of breathing,

The rise and the fall.

And now allowing the breath to move completely on its own.

Notice how your body feels compared to when you began.

Maybe a little quieter inside,

A little more grounded.

This moment of letting go doesn't erase your day.

It simply gives your system permission to rest.

Join me in taking one last slow breath in and a gentle breath out.

Carry this sense of ease with you as you move into your evening.

You can return to this pause whenever you need it.

Thank you.
