Together we are going to learn how you can put the outside world on mute, how you can press the pause button, checking in with yourself and listen to what is important to you, get clarity on what you need, so you are inspired to make the right decisions to navigate through your days, setting out your own path. By the end of this 10-day course, you’ll know how you can put the outside world on mute so you can create these rejuvenating moments of deep rest to relax, destress and refocus on what matters to you. As a result, your stress levels will be down, you’ll feel more rested, and your sleep quality will be improved. At the same time, you’ll be more in tune with yourself and have regained your sense of purpose, translated into clear intentions that will guide you throughout your day. And we will do this combining proven Non Sleep Deep Rest techniques like Yoga Nidra with other modern science-based techniques. Yoga Nidra is a profound and proven conscious relaxation technique, scientifically known as a Non Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) technique. It systematically relaxes the body and mind and guides you into deep awareness The beauty of it is that it’s a very accessible form of meditation, suitable for beginners and people with experience. During the next 10 days, I’ll introduce you to the different techniques, building up a practice step by step. Each day we’ll focus on 1 aspect, and I’ll teach you the relevant techniques and how you can apply it throughout your day. Each session will take 10 to 15 minutes.

Lesson 1

Motivation

Before we start to learn the techniques to put everything on mute and recharge, we‘ll focus on your mindset and your motivation. Because the techniques only will only get you so far. Your mindset and motivation are a crucial factor to get the most out of this course.

Lesson 2

Activate your senses

This session, you’ll learn with the first technique: sensory perception. We are going to use your senses to bring your focus from the outside world to your body.

Lesson 3

Breath Work

Today, you’ll learn the simplest yet most powerful Yoga Nidra technique: breath work. There are volumes of research out there that underline the benefits of calm and conscious breathing. And best of all, it’s something we all have, something that’s always at our disposal. Breathing is our next technique to turn from the outside in, let go of all those external stimuli and relax your mind and body.

Lesson 4

Setting your intention

In Session 1 we talked about motivation: why you want to put the outside world on mute. Today we are going to build further upon that motivation and translate it into a clear, simple intention that you can incorporate in your meditation practice and will guide you through your day: your Sankalpa.

Lesson 5

Rotation of Consciousness

Today I will teach you a fourth Yoga Nidra technique: the rotation of consciousness. To reach a deeper level of physical relaxation and mental awareness, we will take a journey through our bodies. The rotation of consciousness, a guided systematic body scan. This will take you to a pure fertile state where you can deeply anchor in your Sankalpa.

Lesson 6

Opposite Emotions

Now we know how we can reach a deep state of relaxation, we are going to work around emotions. And, we ‘ll play with opposites. This is one of the most intense but also most valuable techniques of Yoga Nidra.

Visualizations

Last session was an intense one because we were evoking opposing emotions. Today it is going to be lighter, and we are going to play with our imagination. The Yoga Nidra technique we are going to learn today is visualization.

3 MUTE strategies

We’ve been focusing on how you can put everything on mute, as a reactive strategy. Now I want to shift the focus to how you can use these techniques, pro-actively. How can we make sure that we don't have to constantly go on mute? For that, I want to give you 3 strategies you can use in everyday life.

A good start is half the battle

Now you learned all the Yoga Nidra techniques, let’s see how you can apply it in your day. Today, I’ll guide you through a morning meditation because the way you start your day sets the tone for the rest of the day. This morning meditation will give you everything you need to start your day refreshed, content and focused on what matters to you.
