Good morning.
As we begin today's meditation,
I invite you to come into a comfortable seat,
Perhaps laying down on your back.
Whichever posture feels most inviting and comfortable for you today.
Gently allow yourself to settle into your chosen space.
If it feels comfortable here,
Softening the gaze,
Perhaps closing the eyes.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale,
Sigh it out through the mouth.
Let's do this one more time.
Deep inhale through the nose,
And exhale,
Sigh out and release.
Letting your body relax,
Noticing where your body meets the spaces that hold you,
Support you.
Know that in this space this morning you are safe,
You are supported.
Allow the breath to flow in and out through the nose,
A gentle rhythm.
Each inhale fills the body from the belly rising up into the chest,
And each exhale softens you a little bit more,
Releasing the air from within.
Gently guide the mind to focus on the breath here.
Notice how it fills each tiny space within you,
Swirling up and gathering any thoughts and feelings.
Envision here this morning with each exhale the release of any sensations that may not be serving you.
Each exhale clearing the space within a little bit more,
Wiping the slate clean,
Leaving a blank canvas within.
Begin to envision this inner canvas.
Notice the potential it holds to be filled with wonderful thoughts and ideas for the day ahead.
With the rhythm of your breath,
Imagine with each inhale a picture begins to form on your canvas.
Anything you wish to bring into your day,
Perhaps a thought,
A feeling,
An emotion.
Each exhale still releasing any worries and concerns,
Releasing any tensions.
Filling on the breath and the beautiful canvas you are filling within.
Notice the colors,
The shapes,
The texture.
Notice the feeling that begins to arise when we see our inner canvas filling up with joy,
Opportunity,
And love.
Continue to breathe here,
Filling up each and every space on this beautiful canvas you are creating.
Allow yourself to take a step back from the canvas,
Seeing it as a whole,
Absorbing all the images and creations upon it.
As you gaze inward at the unique beauty you have created for the day ahead,
Begin to repeat with each inhale,
I am ready.
And with each exhale,
Begin to repeat,
I am whole.
Inhaling I am ready and exhale,
I am whole.
Following this internal chant,
I am ready.
I am whole.
And gently begin to release these words,
Begin to move mindfully away from your internal canvas,
Gently back into the space that surrounds you.
And as you release from our meditation,
Know that your canvas lays within,
Ready and filled with all that is unique to you as you move throughout your day.
Taking a deep breath in,
Exhale,
Sigh out.
You are ready.
You are whole.
Geralrel,
I don't want to sleep.
You are full.
