Hello beautiful soul,

My name is Jess,

Also known as Galactic Gangsters and welcome to this healing meditation for anxiety and panic attacks.

Since you may be experiencing anxiety right now,

Let's take some very deep breaths together before proceeding in and out.

Good.

In and out.

Breathing helps us to calm our overstimulated nervous system.

So keep breathing deeply throughout this meditation.

Please keep in mind that this meditation should never be used in place of professional medical help but rather as an aid to help ease your anxiety.

Know that you are safe right now.

Anxiety will not kill you,

It can just feel very uncomfortable.

I'd like you to say out loud or in your mind right now,

Anxiety,

I allow you to be with me.

I do not resist you.

I know you have a message for me and I allow you to be with me until you need to release.

All that you have to show me.

Let's keep breathing now.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe out.

Saying these words to your anxiety can ease the tension but even if it doesn't,

You are letting it know that it is okay that it is here and you are not condemning your feelings for occurring.

In my experience,

One thing that makes anxiety ten times worse is thinking that we shouldn't be feeling it and trying so hard to resist the feelings out of fear.

Anxiety is something that I have a lot of experience with and this particular meditation has come about due to an intense anxiety attack that I had just the other night.

The way I dealt with the anxiety attack allowed me to completely move through it and I feel as if the universe is urging me to share with others exactly what I did in order to calm my anxiety.

Even though I frequently have in the past,

I have not experienced an anxiety attack in a few years and I believe I did so the other night,

Partly just so I could make this meditation for you today.

The main solution to my anxiety attack was self-love and compassion for my anxiety.

Love is the great transmuter as there is no force more powerful in the whole universe than love.

The convenient thing about love is that it is a resource that you can access at any moment since it is what resides in all of your cells and within all the atoms that make up reality.

So perhaps you are experiencing extreme anxiety right now.

The best thing to do is to find a place where you can be undisturbed in order to calm your system.

It should also be noted that you do not need to listen to this meditation in order to do this practice.

Once you have listened to this once,

You can do this for yourself over and over.

This is especially important in case you are somewhere where you cannot access this meditation such as if you are at work,

You can simply remember this practice and find a space where you can do it.

Even the bathroom at work can be a safe sanctuary to excuse yourself to if you feel anxiety coming on strong.

I know that I myself have had to hide in the bathroom while having anxiety attacks in the past and it was just enough time and space to give myself to move through those anxiety attacks.

So the other night when my anxiety hit,

I decided to take a bath with lavender essential oil because water has very healing properties and naturally calms us.

Plus the lavender oil is also very calming.

So you could do this in the bath or shower but even in a chair or lying on a bed is completely fine.

So let's take another few deep breaths together.

In and out.

Good.

You are safe.

Know that you are safe now.

Take one hand and place it over your heart.

This signals to your body and feelings that you are here for yourself.

You are not running away from this anxiety.

You are here to unconditionally love whatever is arising for you right now.

If it aligns with your beliefs,

It can be very helpful to call in Archangel Raphael,

The angel of healing,

To come and assist you now with this healing.

This is what I did.

And if you do it,

The energy of love can be amplified.

Okay so next,

This may seem counterproductive at first but I want you to focus on the feeling of anxiety in your body.

Just feel into your body and notice what the sensation of anxiety is like.

You see sometimes actually allowing ourselves to feel an emotion fully makes it a lot less frightening because we focus our attention on the feelings in our body and take our attention away from the fearful,

Incorrect stories that the mind makes about our anxiety.

And boy does it like to make up some pretty crazy stories right?

Instead feeling fully this anxiety in our body allows us to become present in the body and present to the feeling even if it is uncomfortable.

Next we speak to our anxiety either in our mind or out loud like it is a scared child who just desperately needs some love and attention.

We reassure the anxiety with loving phrases such as,

I know you are scared but it's okay because I am here for you.

I will not run from you.

I love you anxiety.

I know how much pain you have been through.

I will not abandon you.

You can stay here for as long as you need to.

We will get through this.

Breathing deeply.

Know that at times doing this process you may find that your mind tries to distract you with fearful thoughts.

Just observe those thoughts.

Know that you are not your thoughts.

You are the conscious,

Aware presence that is watching them go by now.

It is okay that they are here.

Just let those fearful thoughts arise.

Don't try to stop them as this usually just makes it worse.

Just observe and allow.

Surrender to all that is happening in this moment and know that none of it is wrong.

You are allowing healing to take place.

You are purging.

I see our difficult emotions as past pain that is coming up now to be processed and transformed.

Perhaps it did not get the chance to do so in the past and now we have an opportunity to heal that pain permanently so long as we do not try to run from it or prevent the feeling from arising.

We say to ourselves,

It is okay to feel this fully.

And I am not afraid of my feelings.

I allow them to be with me so that they can completely process.

Now with your hand on your heart,

I want you to imagine bright green healing love energy flowing from your hand into your heart and calming your whole body.

It can also be helpful to place your other hand on your stomach area where the solar plexus is and imagine love running into that area as well.

We often hold a lot of fear and worthlessness here so sending it love can help calm the anxiety as well.

Keep pumping this love energy into your body and saying either out loud or in your head,

I love you.

I am here.

I love you.

It will be okay.

I feel you.

I understand your pain.

You have been through so much.

Thank you for letting me know how much love you need right now.

And allowing me to give it to you.

I will stay here for as long as you need me to in order for you to process.

Keep repeating phrases like these to yourself.

You know what it is that your anxiety needs to hear.

What are those words that it so desperately wants to hear from you?

As you do this,

Continue to flow the green,

Loving,

Healing energy into your body.

Breathing deeply.

In and out.

You should notice that after some time,

Your body begins to feel the energy.

Your body begins to relax more and more.

Don't feel disheartened if it's taking your body some time to fully release the feelings it is feeling.

It can take some time.

Just keep doing this process for as long as your anxiety needs your attention in this moment.

For me,

It took a whole hour before my anxiety was ready to release.

And I just stayed with it.

I just allowed it to be what it is.

I allowed my whole entire being and every cell in my body to feel anxiety fully.

No running.

No hiding.

No covering up.

Nothing.

Just complete and utter presence with anxiety.

And what I found is that the more I faced my anxiety head on,

The less afraid I was of the feeling of anxiety.

It no longer had the same power and control over me as it once did.

I treated it with respect.

I treated it with compassion.

And I treated it with love.

We cannot rush our feelings and we should never feel ashamed of feeling any type of feeling.

You have been through a lot in your life and our feelings are just the remnants of hard times we have faced.

They need their time in the spotlight.

They deserve our attention because they have often been neglected.

We now have the opportunity to show them the respect and the love that they deserve.

This brings us to the end of this healing meditation for anxiety and panic attacks.

I sincerely hope that this process serves you well on your path.

And remember,

You can take it with you anywhere you go.

You just have to excuse yourself for a moment to a quiet space.

You don't even need this meditation to do this process.

You just need to know how to speak to your anxiety whether in your mind or out loud.

And remember to have so much compassion for who you are and what you've been through.

It's immense.

Remember how strong you are to deal with what you've dealt with and to feel all of these tricky emotions.

You deserve so much love.

You are love.

And love will transform you.

Love is the way.
