Welcome to this relaxing meditation.
Today we will be focusing on connecting to the energy of peace and healing and we'll be grounding ourselves in the space of love.
Find a comfortable position in a space where you won't be disturbed.
Make sure your spine is straight and your heart is open with lots of space in your lungs to breathe deeply.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth.
Allow your breath to become deeper and slower with each inhale and exhale.
Breath is one of the most powerful tools to release all the accumulated stress in the body which is also connected with the tension from the mind.
When we constantly engage in negative thoughts it's possible for the physical pain to manifest in the body.
With conscious breath we are making more and more space for peace,
For ease and relaxation which helps to repair inner cells and makes it easier for our bodies to come back to balance.
Keep breathing deeply and gently from the space of your belly through your ribs and up to your chest.
And then exhale through your chest,
Ribs and belly.
Allow this breath to nourish you from within.
Bring your attention now to the top of your head and imagine a warm,
Soothing light spreading down your body.
As the light moves down to your forehead release any tension or stress you may be holding there.
Release any tension from your mind.
Slowly letting go of any negative and fearful thoughts.
Making more space for peace and awareness.
Moving down to your eyes now.
Release any tension around your eyes.
And imagine your eyes sinking deep into their sockets,
Relaxing completely.
Notice your jaw muscles.
And allow your jaw to release any tension it may be holding.
Imagine your jaw gently softening and relaxing more and more.
Now bring your attention to your neck and shoulders.
Notice any tension that you may be holding there and allow your breath to soften and help you naturally release that tension.
Breathe in relaxation and breathe out any discomfort or pain.
Your neck and shoulders area is often connected to worry.
Consciously release any worry and fear from your system.
Knowing that you are safe here and there's no point in worrying about anything as long as you keep connecting to the present moment.
Moving down your arms.
Imagine your breath flowing down to your fingertips.
Relaxing and releasing any tension that you may be holding around there.
Feel the weight of your arms sinking deeper into relaxation.
Allow the warm and soothing energy to flow through your arms and fingers.
Now bring your attention to your chest and your heart space.
As you inhale imagine your breath filling your chest with love and light energy.
With freedom and motivation.
As you exhale allow your chest space to soften,
Your belly to drop down and release any tension from there.
Open your heart up to receive the healing that comes from love.
Knowing that love is one of the most powerful energies in the universe and it is and always will be so much stronger than any fear.
Let go of any stress or worry that you may be carrying in your heart now and surrender to the safe and relaxing space within.
As you continue to scan your body bring your attention to your back now.
Notice if you are holding any discomfort or pain around your upper,
Middle and lower back space.
And with the next exhale totally release any tension.
Open your back now and allow the healing energy of love to flow alongside your spine up and down.
Notice now the bottom of your spine and imagine it as being a part of your roots,
Your foundation.
Making your foundation of love and peace instead of fear and lack.
Allow your roots to be grounded in the present moment,
Connected to the earth and taking the nourishment and the healing energy from the earth now.
And for the next few breaths just stay in the space of connection.
Release any tension from your hips now.
Breathe into any discomfort or pain in that area.
Imagining the tension releasing with each exhale.
Your hips area is often connected to heavy emotions from the past.
So at this moment totally release your past.
Any pain from the past and come back to stillness in the here and now.
Knowing that is the only real moment that exists.
Slowly coming down your legs,
Imagine your breath followed by the warm and healing energy of love.
Flowing down through your thighs,
Calves,
Feet to your toes.
Inhaling and releasing any pain from your legs now.
Feel the weight of your legs sinking deeper into the space of pure relaxation.
Express gratitude for your legs for holding you and making you move from one place to another.
Take a moment now to acknowledge your body for everything it does for you.
Give appreciation to every little part of your body.
To all the bones,
Muscles and cells.
To your skin.
To all your inner organs.
Thank your legs for carrying you around.
Your arms for embracing loved ones.
And your eyes for allowing you to see the world around you.
Thank your heart for beating and your breath for keeping you alive.
Expressing gratitude for your whole beautiful body.
Your home.
Now bring your attention again back to the warm,
Soothing light spreading throughout your body.
If you want you can place one or both of your hands on your heart and repeat these affirmations silently or out loud to yourself.
I am releasing any pain or discomfort in my body here and now.
I am healing on the physical,
Mental and emotional level.
My body is relaxed and at ease.
I am strong and healthy.
I am grateful for my body and for all it does for me.
I have the power to heal myself from within.
All my cells are naturally repairing.
I am peace.
I am light.
I am love.
Take a few more deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Allowing yourself to fully absorb the feelings of relaxation,
Peace and gratitude.
Know that you can always come back to the safe space of inner love and peace and power.
And trust that your body has the ability to heal itself at any time.
Whenever you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and return to your day.
Carrying the sense of relaxation,
Gratitude and deep love within you.
