However you are today,
Whatever you're coming from,
Or maybe going to later,
Let's come together in stillness for the next few minutes.
Find your seat,
Your posture,
Where you feel here,
Awake and restful,
Coming in with the intention and the attitude to receive,
And to let go,
And most of all,
To let be,
To be loved,
Allow your face to soften,
Opening your jaws,
Allowing for a little space between the teeth,
Opening at the back of the throat,
The throat widens into the neck,
And we can feel our shoulders,
The tops,
The sides,
Front,
The back,
From the inside,
Any micro-tensions,
Any sensations feeling from the inside out,
Letting the shoulders melt down the arms.
Rest your attention for a few moments in the hands,
Allow them to be soft,
See what it's like to notice the tingling sensations in the hands,
Sense that there's an energy that you can hold in the palms of your hands,
Let that be love,
Let yourself feel what it's like to hold love in the palms of your hands,
Notice the weight of your body being supported,
Feeling the pressure underneath your seat,
And gathering your attention in the soles of your feet,
Knowing that the earth is solid,
Steady,
Holding you,
Feeling your body as one,
In loving awareness,
Anchored right here and now,
Let ourselves relax,
Open up to the soundscape,
It's all around,
It may be very quiet,
Or maybe there's plenty in it,
Listen in,
There's a sort of spacious quiet,
Become aware of the air touching your skin,
Maybe there's a breeze caressing cheeks,
Perhaps you can feel the temperature of your hands,
Chest,
In the same air that touches you,
We breathe in,
Be breathed,
Let yourself be loved by your breath,
Become aware of the belly gently expanding and relaxing with the breath,
Like waves lapping up and out in your chest,
Naturally lifting and lowering with each new wave,
See what it's like to be with the middle of your chest,
Feeling what it is to feel loved by this breath that breathes you naturally,
Living you,
Might sense a little sprinkling of gratitude for this,
Breath has its own way of soothing us,
Can you feel what it's like to feel the vastness sitting here,
Just the stirring of the breath,
It's more than enough,
You are more than enough,
Our whole experience can become all like one cloud of sensation,
Alive and at peace with itself,
Let peace do its work on you,
Let it do what it knows it needs to do for you,
And we just sit still,
Our stillness allows the peace to feel and be felt,
Beloved,
Continue sitting here with your breath,
Loved,
If it's time,
This or whatever is next.
