Every verse explains in detail.

The English translation of this verse is,

Any suffering,

Fear,

Sorrow,

Pain,

Duality,

No conflict,

Arise from the duality.

Duality is what?

The perception of duality.

And there is no medicine to cure,

Except understanding that this duality is unreal,

This duality is delusive.

I have left eye and the right eye duality.

You are different from me duality.

You are more beautiful than me,

Brandy duality.

You see that?

Your eyes are different than me,

Duality.

Your attitude is different than me,

Duality.

But question comes,

First thing to understand that we do not go for the ultimate cause.

We are a non-thinker.

We claim we are a non-thinker.

We are a thinker.

But we are a non-thinker.

Take one example.

Enough is enough.

27 years.

We live together.

Do you know what I'm talking about?

Bill and Millie Nuggies.

Why the hell you did not realize in the first year?

Non-thinker.

We have to understand this,

And after 27 years,

You realized enough is enough.

Thank God you realized after 27.

So your 27 years of life was living as a non-thinker.

I am hungry.

So hunger is an effect.

What is the cause?

The cause is loss of energy.

We are the loss of energy.

So because when we do not think,

We do not find the ultimate cause and because we do not find the ultimate cause,

This dual perception causes the delusion and the delusion causes the suffering.

Delusion causes the ignorance and ignorance is the cause of suffering.

Now start thinking because of a non-thinking causes the duality.

Duality causes the delusion.

Deletion causes the ignorance and ignorance is the cause of all the suffering involved.

And there your body is not me.

How it is possible one body is I am,

Other body is I am not.

How can I say that you are different than me?

Ask yourself.

When you accept that you are the body,

First cause.

I am the body,

But the body is constantly subjected to suffering.

If you find the ultimate cause,

You live in meditation,

You don't practice meditation.

You live into that permanent peace and happiness.

That is the beauty.

So now because I have lot of accumulated impressions in the body and those impressions,

Some of the impressions are pre-programmed.

Hunger,

Today,

Morning,

Look at John taking tea or coffee.

So after some time,

Again I need coffee or tea.

Again I need a repetitive process.

It happens because of the impressions.

So these impressions are present in the body.

Based on these impressions,

The body is working.

So the cause of this body is all these impressions.

But what is the cause of these impressions?

Third cause.

Once you find the ultimate cause,

Here and now you start living in meditation.

So what is the cause of these impressions?

You hate me,

You leave the place.

It means you do some action.

So these impressions triggers action.

That is the cause.

So what is the cause of my action?

Cause of action is attachment and detachment.

What is the cause of attachment and detachment?

Likes and dislikes.

Now come to this point.

Do you agree?

Cause of attachment and detachment is likes and dislikes.

Right?

Now ask yourself,

What is dislikes and dislikes?

So master says here,

We like and dislike because we do not think.

There is no thinking at all.

Tell me,

Is gray beard is better than black?

Like and dislike.

Like and dislike.

One person's like,

Pizza,

The other,

Second person like,

Pasta,

Third person like,

Chicken.

What is this like and dislike?

We never pay attention.

We do not think.

So after 27 years,

Our great friend found,

Now I don't like you.

For 27 years,

I like you.

I think 27 years or 26,

You know,

Something like this.

Yeah.

Do you know what I'm talking about?

Likes and dislikes.

So what happens because of the likes and dislikes,

We continue to live in this duality.

In this duality.

Like,

Dislike,

Duality.

And duality is the cause of delusion.

And delusion causes the ignorance,

Ignorance causes the suffering.

You all are seekers,

So it will go very deep inside you.

And you see duality.

Now pick up the sixth cause.

Like and dislike.

Do you like hot or cold?

Can I say 100 degree boiling water is less cold,

Zero degree is less hot,

Then duality disappears.

Men and women go a little deeper.

Both are made up of the same material,

The duality disappears because I do not think.

Then there is a great movement,

Women liberation.

I think we should start men's liberation now.

That may be good for social activists,

You know,

Professionals,

Not for the seekers.

Seekers eyes goes deeper.

Seeker minds goes deeper.

It wants to know the ultimate cause of my suffering.

So once I live into that awareness,

Which is beyond duality,

I'm already in meditation.

This is what J.

Krishnamurti says,

Choice less awareness.

You live in choice less awareness.

Now see,

Look from the reverse point of view.

You can see the descending order.

I hate you or I like you.

Duality?

From where does duality come?

Why I like you or why I hate you?

Ask yourself.

I'm hollow inside.

I'm empty inside.

I don't know who am I?

I don't know who am I?

Am I born to like and dislike and this and even if I hate you,

You continue to exist.

Our existence has a common point.

Do you see that whether I exist or you exist?

We exist in the same space,

Same planet.

We don't want to see it.

Why?

Because I don't think.

I don't want to find the ultimate cause.

So when I do not think,

Then I continue to live in likes and dislikes.

So when I have continuous likes and dislikes,

Mind is subjected,

Hammered by the likes and dislikes,

It causes attachment and detachment.

So attachment and detachment leads to karma,

Action,

And action accumulates all these impressions in your mind and all these impressions ultimately strengthen your identification with the body.

For everything,

I am the body.

As long as we have identification with this body,

Suffering cannot come to an end.

My Master used to say the world does not have suffering.

The world itself is suffering the same way the body does not become sick or healthy.

The body is the home of suffering.

It does not mean,

What does that mean?

That means that I am the body.

I am aware for all practical purposes.

I am the body.

That identification begins the journey of the suffering.

Meditation.

That is why we say meditation is transcending the body and the mind.

Last time I told you I am unemployed,

So I am suffering.

Tell me how many employed people are happy?

Simple.

Stop thinking.

Look at that person.

He has a luxury car.

I don't have,

That is why I am suffering.

How many people who have a luxury car are not suffering,

Are happy?

How many people who claim they are beautiful are happy?

And look at our dear friends,

Belinda and Melinda.

We do not think.

Ultimately,

I'm stressing one point.

Why we do not think?

I am very busy.

I have no time to think.

Am I asking you to think about me?

We don't have time.

I am fully busy.

So why you are fully busy?

Pick up.

Pick up out of the seven causes.

But why am I running?

The moment you become aware,

One thought comes.

Coffee is there but the tea is not there.

You have already created a duality and see the hesitation in your mind.

Pick up any thought at any moment.

Are you understanding that?

I told you that it takes time.

The teacher explains you.

You listen to it.

You become aware of it and in that awareness you are already in the state of meditation.

I don't have money.

That's why I am suffering.

How many people who have the money are really happy?

You are separating yourself because you are not happy.

So when I become a non-thinker,

What I think?

If I get a million dollars,

I'll be happy.

Then I will rest and relax.

You see the non-thinking aspect.

We make ourselves crazy and that is why we are suffering.

Otherwise,

There is no point,

No cause of suffering in this world.

The world is beautiful.

Pick up any point.

Again,

I'm stressing.

We are a non-thinker.

Look at my boss.

He doesn't know anything and he is bossing on me.

First,

I separated him,

That he is different from me.

Then what I did?

Attachment and detachment,

Likes and dislikes.

I dislike him.

Even if he is boss,

He does not know anything.

Another duality.

Look at these thought patterns.

The moment we create these opposing dual thoughts,

We stop thinking and when you are a non-thinker,

Then you create reasons to be unhappy in your life.

You create reasons.

Do you find any reason?

I don't find any reason.

Think of it.

We lived happily for 27 years,

But now enough is enough.

We accept the thought as it is.

Do you understand what I'm saying?

We simply accept the thought as it is.

We don't start thinking,

Come on,

27 years?

Why the hell you did not start with you in the very first year?

Are you mad,

Insane?

It took you 27 years to realize?

And what is the realization?

Now see what is the realization.

I will go my way.

I will find my honey.

You will find your honey.

So I'm falling into the same problem.

I'm falling into the same problem.

Are you understanding that?

This is one example.

Apply the same example in everyday life.

Become a thinker.

Let me find out the ultimate cause.

And when you find the ultimate cause,

It amounts to non-thinker.

Non-thinker keeps the duality intact.

The duality leads to delusion and delusion leads to ignorance.

Ignorance is the cause of suffering.

What is ignorance?

Not knowing my nature.

So the Master says my nature is non-dual.

I'm in non-dual consciousness,

Self-existent,

Self-luminous.

That is what is the real self.

It is pure consciousness.

Now I'm not the body,

I'm pure consciousness.

Can you divide consciousness?

Can you have.

Do you have a different consciousness than me?

Now see that.

Do you have a different consciousness than me?

The answer is no.

There is only one consciousness.

There is only one space.

There is only one water,

Whether you go to Atlantic or Antarctica or in your ocean.

So when we understand that we are not a non-thinker,

We find we are into oneness,

Oneness,

One reality that is pure consciousness.

This is what the Master is saying.

The root cause of this suffering is my perception of the duality at every state.

For transactional reality,

It does not mean when you say that I'm a non-dual,

Pure consciousness,

So I'm working in this office so I can go to any office.

So you are distorting these principles.

So when there is no duality,

Then I can enter into any house.

I am talking with reference to the real self.

I'm not talking with reference to the body.

Understand this.

Again,

Coming back,

Physical body has a sorrow.

Why?

It continues to suffer.

The body is subjected to suffer.

You give little more cold suffering,

Little more hard suffering.

You see,

The body is by nature.

Now if I say I am the body,

Then accept the suffering.

Don't complain.

Then you are good.

But if you are not the body,

Then find out how to transcend.

Simple understanding.

I'm not teaching any curl dogma,

Religion,

And I say let me bless you,

Close your eyes,

And everything will happen.

We are understanding.

Understanding is the knowledge.

Knowledge liberates us from the suffering.

So the body,

Physical body has a sorrow.

Can I realize this body is not going to listen to me?

Do whatever you want to do.

Every day put it on the sleeve of the body.

Every day put it on the sleeve batter.

I think sleeve batter or sleeve number or something.

Next day it will complain.

You cannot eat gold or diamond if you are very rich.

You have to eat the same stuff.

Can I start thinking?

So what our teachers are doing,

Teacher changes our perception.

My Guruji used to say,

Only thing is required that can I change my perception.

Drop the perception which is causing the duality and enter into the non-dual consciousness.

You live into that state of peace and happiness.

When?

Here and now.

Okay when I'm with you then I live in peace and happiness.

No you're not living with me.

Come with me.

You'll have more problems.

Why?

Because your mind has divided me and you.

That need to think.

Think.

Think.

Think.

Think.

Think.

But now he says there is no medicine to cure this duality.

It is a wrong perception.

It is a misunderstanding.

There is no cure.

So I have to change my perception.

The dual perception is unreal.

Oneness is real.

That is self-existent.

Self-evident.

Self.

But it is a non-practice.

So eyes are closed.

Body is sitting in any position.

Make the body easy and comfortable.

Are you doing anything?

No.

You see we already created a duality.

From the duality we will move to the non-dual perception.

What is that duality?

I'm saying look inside the forehead and the body is steady.

So two things are there.

So for some time I am my mind.

For other time I am the body.

And that is another duality.

So we will continue to live into that state of we just perceive.

Perceive the problem of.

Perceive the problem.

Perceive the duality.

Remain aware.

That is all.

I'm simply saying remain aware.

Do nothing.

So now see that again we have to move from the duality to the non-dual perception.

There is no cure.

The master declares.

Means what?

You are doing meditation for 15 years and keeping the duality because you don't understand.

You don't want to acquire the knowledge.

You say practice is better than theory.

There is no theory in practice.

Theory and practice here in the self-discovery.

Theory is practice.

Practice is theory.

Don't bring the concept of science here.

Become aware of the steadiness of the body.

The mind is looking deep inside the forehead.

Very good.

So when I say being comfortable we will translate that into a non-dual perception.

Begin with the dual.

Look at the neck joint.

So I'm looking at the neck joint.

You see it gives you millions of thoughts of duality.

Neck joint is different from the rest of the body.

It is only the first joint you see.

The duality.

And then the mind creates a thought that your neck is better than mine.

Etc.

So can the mind be free from it?

Keep looking at the neck joint.

Then another duality comes.

Your experience of sensation,

Comfort and steadiness.

Then another duality.

You enter into the space.

The space is non-dual.

Can we move the mind like this?

Look at the shoulder joints.

Look simply.

So when you look the mind will give you an experience.

These are impressions.

I did talk about the second reason,

Second cause.

So these impressions,

If your mind is here with me,

Heard me,

You will say yes.

Say yes to sensation,

Comfort and steadiness.

What is that after that?

It is all the space.

Let us give this mind a taste of non-duality by being aware of the space again and again and again and again.

Why?

So that it will start thinking,

It will start understanding.

Hip joint,

Feeling,

Sensation,

Comfort and steadiness.

And after that,

The space.

The entire body.

Move the mind on the entire body.

So there are many aspects,

You know.

So there are diverse schools of meditation or the expression of the teachers defines the different practices of meditation.

Otherwise,

Meditation is only one.

So awareness of the entire body,

All the joints.

You see the mind still confirms why you are asking me to move the mind on all the joints.

It means duality is already there,

Multiplicity is there.

That is the reality.

That is the reality.

Because if that is the reality,

Then your mind is wandering.

And when you experience this sensation,

Cannot be divided.

Steadiness cannot be divided.

Comfort cannot be.

And that gives you a glimpse of space inside.

We understood meditation is not a practice.

The entire journey.

Did you understand the second chapter where the seeker is narrating its own experiences?

So he has this experience.

He has this revelation.

Can you think now?

Think you are also a seeker and he is also a seeker.

He reveals the knowledge.

These are the beautiful experiences we should reach out.

Red color,

Yellow color,

Blue color.

It has no meaning.

Just being aware.

One thought,

Interval or gap.

Second thought,

Interval and gap.

Third thought,

Interval and gap.

Five thoughts,

Confusion.

Don't worry,

Simply become aware the mind is confused.

You are not.

Then again,

Gap.

Two thoughts,

Not very clear,

No problem whether you are clear or not.

Are you aware?

Are you listening to me?

That is enough.

Now because we do not think,

We say there is a gap between the two thoughts.

That gap is always present.

That gap is nothing but the space.

The space has thoughts.

If there is no space,

There cannot be any thought.

Look at it,

Because we do not think.

Seeker in this verse says there is no medicine to cure.

There's duality.

Why?

Because you force your mind to see the duality.

It's a problem with your wrong perception,

Misconception,

Wrong notion.

Look at it.

There is nothing to be done.

Again look at it.

Just become aware.

One thought,

Mind says yes.

How do I recognize the second thought?

Because there is a gap.

How do I recognize the third one?

Gap.

Because there is some kind of a separation.

Do you see that?

See it clearly.

What do you mean by seeing?

It's a perception.

There is no cure for a wrong perception.

And I gave you an idea that that gap is nothing but the space that is eternal,

That is all-pervading,

That never changes.

My mind has been heavily conditioned to see the duality.

And forget the cause behind the appearance and disappearance of the thoughts.

That is the one space.

This is when you discover,

You become aware of the duality.

Where you need awareness,

Who has that awareness seeker,

Who is a seeker,

Who is committed,

Sincere.

We work from the Patanjali shadha,

Virya,

Smriti,

Samadhi,

Prajna.

So the moment the mind perceives the duality,

We want to know the secondary cause,

The final cause,

The ultimate cause behind it.

So you are walking with me.

Look at the breath.

What the mind sees?

Mind says this breath is going in.

That breath is coming out.

So be a thinker.

First thing,

Ask yourself where it is going in.

Is it going inside you or inside the body?

Is it coming out from you or it is coming out from your body?

My master never gave any practice or for the sake of the practice we used to sit with eyes closed.

We used to sing and recite these verses.

He lived into that highest state of awakening.

Go back.

So the mind says breath is going in and coming out.

You see the duality.

It is effect.

Is it really effect?

When I am not the body,

Is the breath going in or out?

Just keep looking.

With the awareness that I am not the body,

Is the breath going in or out or is the breath,

There is a movement.

You see that?

The mosquito sits at a place and they start vibrating.

Something like that.

That is the way the breath is pulsating,

If I use the word.

Breath is pulsating.

Is it horizontal movement?

It is going back and forth.

Is it going back and forth?

So the master is clear that if it is moving back and forth,

That prana,

That life force is always moving back and forth.

Whether there is a body or there is nobody.

I will not say we are doing something but for the sake of understanding,

If we are doing,

We are removing,

We are removing the misconception of duality.

That is all.

Look at this breath in a different way.

One breath moves even in the mind,

In the background,

Says breath is going in,

Come on,

Accept this.

It wants us to accept this wrong misconception,

Wrong notion.

Second breath out we say duality but breath is one.

Who causes the duality?

The mind.

So there is another way to take your mind to oneness.

I means you just become aware of the room.

I in the room.

I in the objects in the room.

I in your mat.

I in your couch.

So my master used to say remove the common factor and become aware of what is common factor.

Common factor is I.

So keep looking.

When I say be aware of the room,

Okay,

But at the same time become aware of that I who is aware of the room,

Become aware of the I who is aware of the body.

Who is aware of the body?

Yes.

Now that I is one,

Are you not aware that I is not aware of the room and the articles present in the room and the body?

Yes.

So this master says here also look at this I.

First look at I.

Where is the secret?

When the mind comes before the I,

It says the world is divided.

When the mind is not there in the field of awareness,

That I reveals the oneness.

I'm just giving you a,

You have to map.

The moment there is the duality,

Experience that confirms the duality,

It is mind.

That mind is not there only I is there.

That is the real I.

Self-existent,

Self-evident,

Self-luminous.

Is I,

That I,

Aware of listening,

Aware of the room,

Aware of the body,

Aware of the thought,

Common factor is the I.

Perception through the mind of these things are different and we are caught in that duality and we forget.

So maintain your awareness on the I.

I in the body,

I in the room,

I in the breath,

I in the thoughts.

So mind has given the name thoughts,

Room,

Body,

Objects.

The real self does not need to give any name.

That real I.

Real I is separate.

Now did you understand why the master says duality is the cause of the suffering and there is no cure except knowledge.

Knowledge is perception.

Knowledge is perception.

Let anything comes to your mind.

Thought,

Experience,

Objects.

Who recognizes I?

Now there are two I.

One the mind claims I am the real,

Then it perceives the unity.

Mind is not there.

That I is already one.

It is real self.

It is self-existent.

Am I making it little at once?

Noor.

Noor remains the same.

Noor does not change.

So how to recognize?

If the noor changes,

Be sure it is the mind that will cause the duality and if the noor is not changing,

You are already there.

You are here and now.

See that.

Are you your mind?

No.

That is 100% clear.

So maintain awareness.

The mind causes the duality and when you claim you are the mind,

So you live in the duality and the duality causes the suffering due to ignorance,

Not knowing who am I.

Then the mind says here my love mate and here is my hate mate.

Duality.

You see that?

So the entire journey is to transcend that duality.

When you transcend that duality,

You are already you are already there.

So don't force your mind not to think but to think rightly the way this master is thinking.

What?

The duality is the cause of suffering.

So when you perceive the duality,

Become aware,

Go behind it,

Stay there.

You did nothing.

Doing nothing is the state of meditation.

Doing nothing.

Yes.

Why?

We already have a real self.

We have to simply know it,

Remove the misconception of this duality.

Then what is left is the real self.

What is left means only the non-dual consciousness remains.

So I refer the master explaining the words of this master,

Body,

Impressions,

You are aware karma,

Attachment and detachment,

Lights and dislikes,

Non-thinking,

Ignorance,

Suffering.

So when this mind knows that it is living in ignorance,

The mind drops the duality instantly.

Similarly,

If the hot pan,

We know that hot pan will burn me,

I will not touch.

Similarly,

The mind maintains that awareness.

It is not going to touch the duality.

That mind merces into the real self and you are into the meditation.
