Guru-Brahma,
Guru-Bhishnu,
Guru-Devo Maheshwara,
Guru-Satchat Param Brahma,
Gita is the most practical book.
Provided we understand it clearly and then we apply these principles in our daily life.
And the best part is that you,
We should have that intense aspiration to change.
And you start working on yourself,
The rest will fall into the place.
Whether you are talking of problems and the challenges in your family,
Personal,
Professional life or in the world outside.
That is why this Gita book,
More than,
Perhaps more than 300 million copies were sold in more than 40 different languages in the world.
So we are studying what exactly is the role of intellect in the journey of self-discovery and also end of suffering.
The wealth of the sense organs is the colorful,
Beautiful world outside.
You see that all the sense organs,
They are one-sided windows.
They open to the world outside,
They do not open inside.
They do not open inside.
You close your eyes and you want to see what is going on inside,
You cannot.
You cannot hear anything inside.
You cannot touch inside.
When you say,
Do you touch yourself?
No,
I cannot touch myself.
I can touch my body.
So the wealth of the mind is sato guna.
Now understand this sato guna.
And the wealth of the intellect is the steady wisdom.
No religion,
No spiritual discipline,
No dogma incurred have laid down so much of stress,
So much of emphasis on the intellect than Gita.
You see sometimes people refer Gita as a religious text.
We don't talk about hell and heaven.
Gita never talks that we will go to hell or heaven.
It talks straight.
It says understand the problem,
The cause of the problem and move ahead.
That is the beauty of this text.
Why this text with 700 verses,
Perhaps 700,
Yes 700 verses in 18 chapters is a summary of more than 3000 text of Eastern wisdom including yoga.
Every chapter is known as one facet of yoga.
Second chapter once we understand it clearly,
It addresses,
If I say it addresses the problems in our daily life.
This is in daily life and it helps you to find the solution in the daily life.
That is the beauty of the Gita.
Every time I study,
Every time I teach,
I get something new,
Something new,
Something new.
So we were studying and we were understanding.
I'm again putting that on the screen so that you understand.
So when we are talking of this steady wisdom,
So we have four questions in mind by the seeker.
Seeker says,
Describe me my master,
How the guy of the steady wisdom is merged into the highest state of meditation even without practice.
How the guy with the steady wisdom or you can say not only the seeker but now he has perfected yoga.
How that guy speaks,
Sit,
Walk.
Last time that is what we were doing it.
So first thing,
First answer,
I think first answer that you are settled in your real self.
That is what we studied.
I just briefly I go through it so that you will have a context to that is Stetapragnya.
Stetapragnya means steady wisdom.
The first is,
First lesson,
I am satisfied with myself.
Just a brief,
I am satisfied with myself means what?
I am satisfied with the pasta that I find in a particular restaurant.
So my intellect says,
Do you have money to buy pasta?
Where is the restaurant?
So my intellect is sitting in the restaurant on the pasta in relationship to the money and the distance that I need to travel to be happy myself.
Did you understand?
So where my intellect is sitting that defines whether I have a steady wisdom or not.
That is the way the master says.
Ask yourself where you are.
No I am sitting with my honey who cheated me.
So cheater and honey go together.
How can you make your intellect steady?
A person who,
My master used to say,
The person who sings on the flute,
One character.
Second character of the same guy that he is a thief.
Which one you take?
Is he a thief?
For some.
Is he a singer?
Yes.
Beautiful singer?
Yes.
My intellect is sitting in two places.
That is what happens in our,
Cheater,
Honey,
I can give you hundreds of them.
So what the pointer is that where my intellect is sitting,
Steady wisdom,
Do I have it?
No.
So he says that is your first point.
Now if you change your,
What?
If you change your behavior and attitude at the mental and emotional level then you can get another Stata Pragnya,
Steady wisdom.
That is we explained in Sutra No.
56.
In the verse No.
57 we understand,
It's a life lesson,
57.
How to live in the world day by day,
The equanimity of the mind leads to a settered intellect.
Settered intellect living in the higher consciousness or steady wisdom.
This is another verse.
In other words,
No.
248 because that gives a context to the next sutra.
So in the 58,
Settered by the senses are purified or withdrawn.
You withdraw the sense organ.
Means what?
Example the moment I see John,
Example.
Please understand these are examples and parallels.
So my mind has a hatred for or disliking for John.
My eyes are open.
John comes in front and then likes,
Dislike takes over the mind and then the mind starts following the sense organ.
I am disturbed and the intellect is hijacked.
So you are taking care at the level of the sense organ.
Likes and dislikes come on,
Get out of it.
Finished.
So this is what?
This is what is this?
Another way to gain the steady wisdom.
You'll be surprised that if you start working on these verses in your life,
You need not to do practice of lot of asanas,
Ten pranayama,
Everyday meditation.
No.
You start living in meditation.
That is the beauty of this Gita.
Who is the seeker in Gita?
Arjuna.
Who is the master?
Krishna.
All the 18 chapters,
700 verses.
Not a single practice is guided in the Gita.
It says understand.
Allow the intellect to settle in the wisdom of the real self.
Getting the steady wisdom done.
Can it happen in a day?
I've been telling you the seed does not become a tree overnight.
The knowledge is not realized in a day.
But how it can be realized by studying again and again and again and again daily and then applying that in life once the seed becomes the tree.
My honey was telling me it will take another two years to have a lemon tree.
She is growing that.
So what I do during the two years?
I continue to take care.
Take care of the intellect.
Means continue to study,
Understand,
Water.
You see that?
Now and we have already understood why I said so.
So verse number 60 says that you are doing it and your mind says I have understood it.
And the ego in the intellect takes birth.
It destroys everything.
No,
No,
I know it.
Why don't you understand?
I know it.
So you see my expression I did not understand.
So ego that is hiding inside takes over.
Takes over.
So you see,
Even the mind of the wise man who labors for perfection is carried away by the vehement insistence of the sense organs.
I have carried the impression of dislikes against the john for example.
It may return.
So means what?
I have to continue to check.
I remain vigilant and aware in my life.
That is the meaning of living in the present moment.
Now we say be mindful.
That is the meaning of being mindful.
It is not that I have understood and john comes and my mind and intellect is already hijacked.
See how subtle the process has been explained.
Rehymant insistence of the sense organs.
They are so much insisting.
I have control over my diet and food diet.
I don't overeat.
So in front of you I don't eat but my mind is still craving for it inside.
Insistent.
Do you see that?
It happens to us.
The mind doesn't want to leave because of the sense organ.
Do you see it happen?
Does it not happen sometimes?
In our life.
Look at this.
So that is pointing by the.
.
.
So here see the word what he says.
Purushasya vipaschitta indriyani haranti prasabham.
The senses and the mind are compared with the turtle.
The way the turtle withdraws its limbs including the head inside.
So we should learn how to withdraw the sense organs which is running after a particular object or a person or a thing that creates a delusion in my mind.
I simply become aware of it and I see that all you are doing I awaken to the wisdom in the intellect and by some practice every day you do it in different situations and then what happens?
Sense organs now we know how to withdraw itself.
What will happen?
The stress will drop there and then.
The pleasure seeking mind will stop.
How come?
Because of the intellect.
Intellect removes the wrong notions.
What we are talking about do you remember?
Steady wisdom,
The wealth of the intellect is the wisdom that comes by discernment and dispassion or what we have studied today the state of the cheerfulness.
My intellect should never be hijacked in any situation in my life.
Whether the condition is favorable or unfavorable.
And when that happens your mind is calm.
But question comes in this verse you said vehement insistence of the sense organs from where that earth comes.
That is the root cause.
What is that?
Did I explain to you one reason say an example I like pasta,
Pasta now I have because I like pasta I overeat.
So when I overeat there is a problem.
I overdo anything which I like.
Did you understand the message that overdoing,
Overeating,
Overexertion and that is how I say you see I have been always busy.
How long you'll be busy and continue suffering understand what is the root cause.
So here the root cause is the terrorist attack.
Who is the terrorist it is hidden inside.
Have you seen that no terrorist ever says that you know I have a back pain that's why I missed killing people.
Have you heard about this?
Terrorists are always healthy John,
They are perhaps much healthier than us.
Do you see that?
Who is this terrorist?
This terrorist is Vasana.
Whether you say Vasana the seed of impression or the second level of manifestation of sanskara they are also known as sanskara.
The seed impression manifest impression.
They trigger in the mind passed on to the sense organ and that is why I like pasta.
You like pasta eat it.
Balance no I will overeat.
So then you have a problem.
So who triggers this terrorist?
They come from nowhere.
Do you know that?
Terrorists appear from nowhere.
So then I repent later next day you know I have lot of problem with my belly what should I do?
Because of I overeat pasta.
No the root cause is the terrorist hidden inside.
Now compare this terrorist.
You are stressed because of this terrorist.
You cry because of terrorist.
You suffer because of terrorists.
How can you say that?
This is one of the deeper understanding that Gita Krishna offers to us.
If I have the impression stored in the reservoir of karma according to Patanjali that impression will attract and trigger when I find the same condition outside.
Did you get it?
No.
I suffer.
I find in outer conditions my honey caused me the suffering.
So what impressions that I have in my mind at a deeper level which I don't recognize it is those triggering impression to be with someone that gives me happiness.
Unfortunately that may be honey unfortunately that may be someone else.
Are you understanding?
That is a silent attack.
I am invoking in your mind what is happening in your daily life.
Steady intellect helps you make you free come on.
No terrorist attack is there.
Many of you don't tell me the story I come to know.
So anyhow because of these verses.
Yes,
Yathaha purushasya vipashyata.
There are three words is there.
Striving person.
Who is the striving person?
I am.
What I am striving?
How to get rid of my hatred and dislike and the suffering that I have been experiencing for the last couple of weeks.
How making this intellect steady.
Ask your intellect where are you sitting?
I am my intellect is sitting in the honey.
How can I be in peace?
It is immaterial whether the honey is good or bad.
Inserted me or appreciated me.
Same thing that's why I gave an example of pasta.
Pasta is very good.
I like it.
I eat it.
I want to eat little more,
Little more,
Little more and the problem.
See how beautiful the verse is.
Yathaha.
Yathaha means striving.
I'm working,
Working.
Why I want to live in peace.
Honey why don't you understand?
Question is why don't your intellect understands?
Are you getting it?
When I look myself my own intellect which is hijacked by the mind due to obsession.
Right due to craving.
Let my intellect should understand first.
Before I plead and request my honey to understand.
That honey may be pasta,
May be a person,
Whatever it is.
That you take it you accept in your life.
You might have been undergoing those challenges so think,
Start thinking of that.
I like T-shirt of John,
Very reddish.
I will also buy one.
Ask the intellect is it necessary?
Is it right?
I have appreciated the T-shirt.
That is good.
That much is good.
Now ask the intellect.
Is it necessary?
Is it right?
Is it necessary?
No.
Is it right?
No.
Can I drop it?
Yes.
Intellect is steady.
Not only belongs to the T-shirt but also to people,
To things,
To events,
In life.
Your mind is intellect is settled in peace,
Happiness.
Because behind that terrorist there is a hidden element,
The ego.
How dare you cheated me?
No.
Thank you honey,
You have taught me a good lesson.
First I should take care.
Ya taha effort,
I'm striving in a wrong direction.
Purushasya person,
Vipashchita.
The moment I introduce wise,
Even the wise and the learned people cannot understand this part.
This is what the verse says.
The very wise and learned people,
They forget it.
So let us go to another verse,
That is verse number 61.
That is also another verse worth contemplating.
Did I tell you before?
I'm always repeating.
You listen.
How you study?
You study.
You listen to the talk and then you start thinking the way the masters are thinking.
Repeat that.
Repeat in your intellect.
Repeat in your mind again and again and again.
What will happen one day?
The intellect will click.
It will say yes I got it and the moment your intellect says I got it you are free from stress and anxiety.
There is a total freedom.
So now he is giving.
So you know how he sits?
Do you remember the question how he sits?
How he walks?
How he speaks?
What it means?
Don't go to the hatha yoga,
How he sits,
Which posture he sits.
No.
How he lives his daily life.
That is the meaning how he sits in the life.
Did you understand that?
That is the meaning.
Now if you say how he sits literally,
Literally how he sits,
Oh he is not sitting in lotus pose then he is not awakened.
No,
No that is not the cause.
That is not the case.
Here the case is different.
So what a beautiful verse.
So we are still in the question number three.
How does this master sit?
How does he spend his time when he is alone and nobody is watching?
That is another question.
So he simply briefed it.
How does the master sit?
Having brought all the senses under control he must sit firm in yoga.
So here yoga means meditation.
Yoga has multiple meanings in Gita.
Holy given up to me.
So here me is the real self for whose senses are mastered of him,
The intelligence,
The formally established.
You see again steady wisdom.
So there he uses,
Aurobindo uses the word intelligence.
So I am saying wisdom is where my intellect is sitting.
Now since organs are withdrawn inside,
Does it mean that I don't see you guys?
Yes I see you guys and guys and girls.
Not only one guy,
Four girls.
So I see you four girls and one guy does not mean that even after withdrawing the sense organs means what?
There is no like and dislike.
There is a sense of friendliness.
There is a sense of care and the love while teaching to one and all.
So that means that sense organs are monster of him,
Of him,
Of that seeker,
The intelligence or you can say intelligence or wisdom is formally established.
Where it is established?
In the intellect.
Dhaanisaravani sayamah yuktaha seetha matparaha.
How the master sits,
How that awakened master sits,
How does he spend his time when he is alone and nobody is watching?
Now think,
Just see,
Imagine you have already withdrawn your sense organ.
Withdrawn your sense organ does not mean that your eyes are closed,
It is not seeing anything,
The ears are closed,
You plug off the ears and you are not listening anything.
No,
Everything is clear.
So you are fully aware where your sense organs is.
They are looking inside in that field of awareness and when it is looking inside that is the first step of being mindful in life and then the second,
Now because now mind has nothing to follow outside,
Mind is not craving how intellect is holding.
So where your intellect is sitting,
It is sitting with the real self,
It is sitting in the peace,
It is sitting in the happiness.
So when you are alone you are happy,
When you are with the people you are happy.
Have you seen the moment you enter into this virtual room,
Recognize your mind becomes little bit conscious.
It is not casual,
It is not normal.
So there is some problem,
There is some problem.
I have not combed my hair,
I need not to comb my hair,
I simply move my hair and I comb.
You see you are not carefree completely.
Look at this.
Vashihi yasya indriyani tasyap prajna pratisthita.
Seeker,
You are a seeker who has withdrawn the mind and who has withdrawn the mind.
Secret ingredient is here,
Who lives in that steady wisdom and the guy who lives in the steady wisdom.
Do you need to practice meditation?
You are already in meditation.
If you are inside your home and I ask you how long it will take you to reach to your home,
Come on I am already at my home.
That is what happens.
Your distractions and the wandering mind stops you when you recognize the wealth in the intellect.
That is what the master is saying.
Vashihi yasya indriyani tasyap prajna pratisthita.
That steady wisdom is established.
So now see,
Should I,
Yes,
Yes,
I will take up one.
I will take up one.
And because it belongs to,
Now it belongs to,
Let me take up,
It belongs to the series.
Can I say it is a psychology of desires,
Delusion and suffering?
Three verses,
Psychology of desire,
Delusion and suffering.
It is the most beautiful verses that is coming up.
Our existence,
This existence outside.
Does the space sends you the bill?
Why the hell you are moving your body in my space?
Earth,
Air,
Water,
Nobody sends.
That is what the existence is.
This existence protects us by blessing to the intellect.
We are talking of the steady intellect,
Steady wisdom.
Yeah,
I have a lot of problem,
Problem,
Problem,
Suffering.
And suddenly it clicks.
Oh,
Let me listen to the beard guy and you listen to it and you are in peace.
So who got you that spark?
Existence.
It clicked in your head.
It clicked in your intellect.
That is blessing and that is the grace.
Did you understand that?
So to discover the real self,
Intellect is intermediate,
Medium between grace by the existence and awakening.
Are you understanding?
To discover the real self,
Our intellect is the intermediate,
Medium,
Agency,
Instrument between receiving the grace by existence and awakening.
You heard a lottery,
One million dollar,
But then it takes time that how you spend that million dollar is realized.
So you got already a spark of the grace and that is why you start listening.
This Eastern wisdom,
So it will take some time and ultimately the awakening will take place.
You got it?
Now question comes,
That steady wisdom reveals the grace and also reveals my real nature.
So what should I do to keep intellect steady,
Shining with the wisdom?
Right?
Next question.
I'm laying a foundation,
John,
With a 61 verses.
Simple answer,
Then you will understand those verses.
Desire management is first,
Living with inner happiness second or satisfaction and freedom from likes and dislikes.
Let's use three factors.
There are many other factors.
Desire management,
Have you heard about stress management,
Anxiety management,
Personal management,
Self-management?
Have you ever thought of desire management?
Start thinking,
Desire management.
I will buy five pairs of cloths from coal.
How many pairs of cloth I have,
Around 40.
Do I need it?
Is it necessary?
First option is the beginning,
Desire management for anything and everything.
Living with inner happiness means inner satisfaction so that the intellect returns again and again that I am happy with myself.
If you are not happy with yourself,
How can you be happy with others?
Do we think in that line?
We don't think.
So when you non-thinker always suffers,
That is what the second chapter is.
Third is,
I have to get rid of from likes and dislikes.
Now all the three are related.
You get freedom from the likes and dislikes,
Then your mind,
Intellect will instantly click.
Do I need five pairs of cloths more?
I saw Brandy is wearing this so I should have it.
Likes and dislikes.
Intellect comes in between,
Is it necessary?
Do I need it?
So it gives a break to the craziness and the craving of the mind.
Likes and dislikes,
They are all interrelated.
Likes and dislikes,
Satisfaction with myself,
Desire management.
Now see how it is applied in daily life before we go to that verse.
Do we have control over our own tongue?
Tongue has two roles.
One leads to overeating,
Other leads to blaming,
Complaining and reacting.
Two roles.
One is sense organ,
Other is motor organ.
Do you know that?
Tongue,
Speech,
Motor organ.
Tongue,
Taste,
Sense organ.
Do you see that?
So do I have control over my tongue in both the cases as a sense organ and as a motor organ?
Do you understand?
Both.
Do I have control over the tongue,
Thought,
Speech and action in my daily life?
I save myself from a lot of problems.
How can we expect to control the outer situations and problems in life if I do not have control over my tongue,
Thought,
Speech and action?
Let me remain there if you start asking questions.
So now my eyes sees you all,
Then my tongue as a motor organ is ready to speak out.
My eyes see so that the tongue takes the action.
Do you see that?
My eyes see is the road ahead and then the feet takes another in.
Right?
Do you understand that?
My eyes see that now there is a virtual session,
Everyone is in the right place,
Everyone is muted.
I see and tell the path to my tongue to speak.
Clear?
Right?
There are two things here.
One is the decision and second is the steady intellect.
Who took the decision?
The intellect.
Who will keep that intellect into the same place?
Please,
My intellect should keep me focused in the entire session.
Did you get it?
Decision and steady intellect.
You are already in the state of meditation.
First thing,
Decision.
How you took the right decision?
The senses have left the likes and dislikes.
The mind does not follow that likes and dislikes.
The intellect is not hijacked.
Right?
Did you understand that?
Decision is one thing and maintaining that decision in the intellect is different.
Are you getting it?
You are excited to listen to me but after a few minutes the intellect says,
Hell with you,
I don't understand,
I don't want to understand.
Still you maintain,
Ah,
It is disrespect to leave the session.
You can leave the session if you are not interested.
So what happened?
The season and the steady intellect.
You see that?
Understand that.
Understand that.
What the heck my master was teaching,
You know,
Almost 40,
I say,
I know my master.
I know what you are teaching.
Did you change your life?
No,
I said no.
I was,
So I was very,
I said no.
Then he patted on my shoulder and he said,
I teach what is not written in the text.
Are you ready to listen?
And that was the day I never spoke against him.
Rather,
I had a love for him,
A total offering surrendered to him.
What is that surrender did?
Did you,
Did you,
Do you still remember the grace and the awakening in between the grace and awakening?
There was a steady intellect.
It is not that my master attracted me.
I kept the steady intellect.
I learned.
And the grace and blessing was there.
Don't ever think I will close my eyes and I will get all the blessings.
Who knows?
I have closed my eyes and I have no chance to open the eyes next.
Grace and blessing is always there.
That is what we are understanding.
We are coming to that point.
Now comes,
What is that?
62 words.
Did I put it 62 words?
On the,
No,
I did not put it.
So there are eight factors that cause the intellect to become unsteady.
I gave you the right perspective.
You see that?
So you have understood now I am giving you.
And we will pick up only one of this and that is the meaning.
Jaya to vishayanapan saha sangahte shupjaya te sangata sanjaya te kamah kamah krodho abhijaya te.
There are many verses out of those eight hundred verses in Gita.
But these verses,
Maybe five or six verses are the most important if you are really a seeker and want to get out of the suffering forever.
Jaya to vishayanapan saha sangahte shupjaya te,
In whom,
In him,
Whose mind,
Now he is saying why my intellect remains unsteady,
Unstable,
Causes suffering in my life.
So we will pick up only one verse.
So now understand the Sri Aurobindo translation,
In whom,
In him,
In a seeker whose mind,
Means the mind inside,
Mind is inside dwelling on the object of the sense of organs with absorbing interest,
Attachment to them is formed,
From attachment arises desire,
From desire anger comes forth.
That anger means anxiety,
Hesitation,
Duality,
Conflict.
So in this verse he explained four things,
Object in the world,
Second absorbing interest means likes and dislikes.
Vishayan dhyayato vishayanapan saha sangahte shupjaya te.
Then what happens attachment,
Absorbing interest with the object,
Object is first,
Attachment is second,
Desire is the third,
Anger is the fourth.
Do you see the how deeper,
That's why I left modern psychology,
I said who will go to the counseling.
By counseling in modern psychology ultimately you start suffering.
Here you keep that compression all the time,
The steady intellect doesn't allow you to enter into any kind of stress.
You remain objective.
In psychiatry,
I'm not criticizing Kate but this is a fact,
Meaning of the vishaya,
So the word,
Understand the word vishaya,
The first word is vishaya.
You see I told you Sanskrit language is the language of yoga,
Every word has its deeper meaning.
So I want to go a little deeper into these verses,
Meaning of the vishaya,
Literally translated as object,
That object may be any person,
Anything,
Any event,
Etc.
,
Etc.
That meaning in the Sanskrit is that which binds man,
That which causes the poison,
Wish means poison,
Vishaya means object,
That which we remember again and again and then we start chasing and following that object.
That is the meaning of the object.
Did you understand that?
First is object.
Now I see the red,
I see that t-shirt of John,
Mind goes back again and again to that t-shirt.
Apply that,
That goes to your soulmate.
I have yet to understand the exact meaning of soulmate.
So you all are wise,
Explain me later,
What exactly is the soulmate?
We have two bodies,
One soul,
You know we have lot of phrases.
So this is what master is explaining,
That which we remember again and again,
Vishaya,
Object is poison.
So you see that what he says,
Dhyaya yato vishaya apamsah,
Now see that vishaya dhyan,
Where I am meditating,
I am meditating on that object.
Why because I like it,
Because I think about it,
Because I like it,
How I like it,
I think about it.
How many times you remember me just out of joke and how many times you remember where you are attracted to those objects in your life?
Tell me.
How many times you remember this verse?
I have studied one hour,
Now I feel bored,
Let me relax and in that relaxation the mind goes there.
When the mind meditates on any object of the world what happens?
Attachment,
Right?
Attachment.
Then it becomes very easy,
Understand that in your daily life.
Then comes the attachment.
Attachment is bondage,
Why bondage?
Because I depend on others.
I depend on others.
Now what happens when I depend on others?
Tell me.
One is the most wonderful person among you five people.
Kate will say,
Okay,
I will stop all the sessions from today.
I am the master.
So you see what happens when I'm attached.
When I am attached,
You know what happens?
Again I'm repeating,
When I am attached what happens?
I don't have any respect for other people because I'm attached to that person.
Are you getting it?
Even if that person is bad I'm still attached.
Then I have a different perception for Kate,
I have a different perception for John.
So now four people are left because I like John most.
The brandy says,
I am okay if you like it.
So now see another trigger comes to my mind.
I'm not thinking from the intellect.
Okay brandy is on my side.
Three people are left.
This is how my mind becomes crazy.
You can explain even to the kids by citing different examples.
It is equally applicable to the adults.
Did you understand?
When I am attached to what problem it causes,
My mind has a total disregard for the rule of the law.
Now I'm coming the way we Americans talk about it.
We have a total disregard for the rule of the law in the family,
For the rule of the law in the society,
For the rule of the law in the nation.
Are you getting it?
I'm attached.
So whatever John does,
Good or bad,
I'm attached,
Finished.
I have a disregard for all the laws.
Understand that point?
Intellect attachment and that attachment causes the desire.
What happens to the intellect?
For the sake of the John,
I disregarded all of you where the intellect has gone.
Intellect is hijacked.
How it is hijacked by the object,
By the attachment.
What we are learning?
How the unstable intellect,
The stable intellect remains unstable that cause suffering in my daily life.
You know,
When we are attached to any object or a person,
The mind sticks to that object in a person like a gum,
Glue.
How like a glue?
Because it is constantly thinking.
Now everything is all right,
Everything is all right,
I say to the kid,
But John.
And Kate says,
No,
Understand John.
I have understood gum.
This sense of freedom is gone.
Object will not remain forever in my life.
One day John says,
Hell with you,
I don't like you.
Go to your home.
Object can never,
Any object outside cannot remain with me forever.
See the opposite argument?
Do you understand that?
In attachment,
I lose that control.
So that object attachment desire.
And now if the Kate says,
How dare you say that John is better than me.
So I get angry.
I have hesitation.
I see enemy in Kate.
What happens to the intellect?
Again ask again.
Again ask again and again.
What happened to the intellect?
What happened to the intellect?
So normally we see eight factors that causes the mind,
That causes the intellect to become unstable,
Unstable.
And there are other four factors more.
That we will understand in the next verse next week.
So to summarize what we have understood,
First is the steady intellect,
Steady wisdom is the way to live,
Work and think in yoga.
And then we gradually moved,
Gradually moved to how my intellect does not remain steady.
What are the eight factors causes intellect to be unstable,
Suffering?
This is what we have.
We have come to it now.
Ask me if you have any questions.
We will also understand another four factors.
And then you see those who live with these four factors first,
Eight factors first.
And you are practicing meditation without understanding these eight factors.
And you have been doing meditation for 10 years.
Nothing will happen.
Nothing will happen.
That is why people fail,
Frustrate,
Have still continues with the fear.
And master pointed out,
Even if you are a genius,
You don't listen to these principles.
Even the genius used to suffer.
I interact with a lot of my private lessons.
You know,
I'm very intelligent and why the hell you come to me?
Use your intelligence to manage yourself.
So after three or four lessons,
They have stopped saying,
No,
No,
No,
I'm not intelligent.
I didn't say that.
I get the same.
So I tease them in order to help them.
I have all respect for them.
It doesn't mean that,
You know,
I have all respect for them.
I trigger in their mind.
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
Sir,
I'm not intelligent.
They start saying,
Sir,
Then I see the change.
It's not,
You know,
I want respect.
I'm okay with myself.
So,
But I see the change in them.
So my way of counseling in the guiding in the Eastern wisdom is different.
So let me know any question that you have.
