I invite you to bring to mind something that needs processing, something that you need to really feel your way through. We get stuck in our heads so often and it is important that we go into the body, noticing how feelings come up. I will guide you through the process of truly feeling, rather than thinking.

Welcome back to another meditation with me.

My name is Gabriela and for today,

I am here to support you feel your feelings,

To get out of your head and into your body.

A lot of the times we think about our feelings,

We process them in a logical way through the power of our mind,

And of course that is so helpful in its own way,

But today,

I am here to help you truly feel your feelings,

Rather than think about your feelings.

So,

I invite you to gently close your eyes and settle into this space,

Into this moment.

Take a big,

Deep breath in,

Inhaling in,

Holding your breath at the top,

And exhale out,

Let it go.

One more grounding breath,

Inhale in,

Exhale all the way out,

Good job.

Take a moment to notice,

Energetically,

What's going on in your body.

Are you feeling maybe a little tense,

Rigid,

Maybe free and open?

Use this as a baseline to navigate your emotions.

Now I invite you to bring to mind something that has been weighing on you,

Something that you've really been thinking about,

But haven't truly been able to feel your way through.

And once you have brought that to mind,

Notice the shift that happened.

How did your body react to the thought that you brought to your mind?

Did your face tense up a bit,

Or did it soften?

How did your breath change,

And how is it changing as you continue to think?

How does your breath feel in this moment?

Just be with it.

Notice your chest.

How does it feel?

Noticing your belly and its rise and fall as it moves with the breath.

Does it feel natural and flowing?

Is it tight and contracted?

Approach this without any judgment,

Only with an open mind and an open heart.

We're here right now just to navigate the feelings in a true feeling manner,

Rather than a thought manner.

You're doing great.

Keep breathing,

And keep curiously going on this journey through your body.

Do you feel yourself elevated,

Maybe more grounded,

Heavy,

Or light?

Simply observe from a third-party perspective,

Maybe,

About what's going on.

Where these feelings hide,

Where they go.

Are your feelings stagnant,

Or are they moving?

It's kind of cool to navigate where the feelings go.

Sometimes we anticipate them to be a bit stronger,

Maybe in the chest.

But we find a reaction in our hips,

Maybe our feet.

You never know where your feelings are going to end up when they flow through your body.

I invite you to give your feelings space as you continue to step back and observe.

I'm proud of you for choosing to feel your feelings,

To step out of the mind and into the body.

It's so important that we go into the body to feel.

It's important to remember the true essence of feeling,

That it is a feeling.

You don't need to get caught up in your mind anymore.

You are safe in your body,

And you are safe to feel.

You can slowly begin to come back,

Closing up this session with your feelings,

If that feels right.

Sometimes we need a little bit of space after going deep into our feelings,

And that is more than okay.

Take whatever steps necessary that you need in order to come back to this moment.

Back to yourself.

Back to the space around you.

Slowly return to your breath,

Taking another inhale in,

Cleansing as you exhale out.

You may be called to journal to help process,

Maybe just taking note of where the feelings are.

You can always come back to this at a later date,

Maybe even compare notes if the feeling has changed.

Just know that you are safe here,

Safe with me,

Yourself,

And your feelings.

I am so proud of you.

Thank you so much,

And have a great day.
