Welcome to this guided meditation.

Take a moment to settle in comfortably.

Find a position where you can remain still and at ease.

Whether you are sitting or lying down,

Ensure that your body feels supported and balanced.

Close your eyes gently and bring your attention inward.

Notice how your body feels today.

Scan from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Acknowledge any areas of tightness or discomfort without trying to change them.

Simply be aware.

Now shift your focus to your thoughts.

Observe them as they come and go.

Allow them to settle naturally,

Like leaves gently floating down from a tree.

There is no need to hold on to any particular thought.

Just watch them drift by.

Take this time to recognize the sensations in your body and the flow of your thoughts.

You are creating a space of calm and stillness within.

Allow this moment to be peaceful and grounding.

Notice your breath as it flows in and out.

Feel the natural rhythm and ease of your breathing.

With each inhale,

Welcome a sense of tranquility.

With each exhale,

Release any tension or stress you may be holding on to.

Continue to focus on your breath,

Feeling the rise and fall of your chest or abdomen.

As you settle into this space,

Remind yourself that this time is for you.

There is nothing else you need to do and nowhere else you need to be.

Allow yourself to fully embrace this opportunity to relax and find peace.

You are now ready to journey into a deeper state of mind.

Relaxation and calm.

Feel the support of the ground beneath you,

The gentle embrace of the present moment.

This is your time to let go and find peace within.

Begin to deepen your breath,

Allowing each inhale to fill your lungs completely and each exhale to empty them fully.

Notice how your body responds to this deeper breathing.

Feel the cool air entering your nostrils,

Traveling down into your lungs,

And the warmth as it leaves your body.

Inhale slowly and fully,

Allowing your chest and abdomen to expand.

Hold your breath for a brief moment,

Feeling the fullness of your lungs.

Then exhale completely,

Releasing the breath slowly and steadily.

With each breath,

Imagine a wave of calm washing over you,

Easing any tension or stress.

Now,

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest or abdomen as you breathe.

This natural,

Easy rhythm is soothing and grounding.

Let yourself be fully present with each breath.

Bring your attention to your shoulders.

As you inhale,

Imagine drawing in relaxation and ease.

As you exhale,

Allow your shoulders to soften and drop away from your ears,

Releasing any tension.

Move your focus to your jaw.

On your next exhale,

Allow your jaw to loosen,

Letting go of any tightness.

Feel the muscles in your face soften,

Shift your attention to your hands.

Let them rest gently in your lap or by your sides.

As you breathe out,

Allow your fingers to uncurl and your palms to soften,

Moving from one area to the next.

Feel your back and spine loosen,

Your legs and feet soften.

Imagine yourself in a serene,

Peaceful place where you feel safe and at ease.

This could be a quiet forest,

A calm beach,

Or a cozy room.

Picture every detail,

Allowing this image to fill your mind and bring a sense of calm.

Visualize a gentle,

Warm light surrounding you.

This light is soothing and comforting,

Enveloping you in a sense of safety and peace.

With each breath you take,

Imagine this light growing brighter and warmer,

Gently melting away any tension or stress.

As you breathe in,

Imagine drawing in peace and calm.

As you breathe out,

Visualize your worries leaving your body like a cloud of smoke,

Dissipating into the air and disappearing.

Each exhale carries away a bit more of your stress,

Leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.

Now,

Focus on your thoughts.

Picture your worries as leaves floating on a stream.

Each worry,

No matter how big or small,

Is placed gently on the surface of the water,

And as the current carries these leaves away,

They drift further and further downstream until they are out of sight.

Allow yourself to feel the weight of these worries,

Lifting from your shoulders as they drift away.

Now,

Imagine any lingering tension in your body being drawn out by the warm,

Soothing light surrounding you.

With each breath,

This light travels through your body,

Gathering up any remaining stress and gently dissolving it.

Feel the warmth and calm spreading throughout your entire being,

From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

If any particular worry or concern comes to mind,

Acknowledge it without judgment.

Place it gently on the stream with the other leaves and watch it drift away.

Trust that you can release these worries and that they do not need to hold power over you.

You are in control of your inner peace.

Allow yourself to fully experience this sense of release.

Notice how your body feels lighter and your mind clearer.

The warm light and the soothing stream are helping you let go of anything that no longer serves you.

This is your time to embrace tranquility and find inner peace.

Remember that this state of calm and release is always within your reach.

Take a moment to appreciate the peace and calm you have created.

Allow this sense of tranquility to fill you completely,

We will now repeat some positive affirmations together.

I allow peace to fill my mind and body.

I release all worries and embrace tranquility.

I am surrounded by calm and serenity.

I am in control of my thoughts and emotions.

I am at peace with the present moment.

I am free from stress and tension.

As we come to the close of this meditation,

Begin to gently shift your awareness back to the present moment.

Take a few slow,

Deep breaths,

Feeling the air move in and out of your lungs,

Grounding you in your body.

Allow yourself to become aware of your surroundings.

Feel the surface beneath you,

The support it provides.

Notice the temperature of the air on your skin,

The sounds around you,

And any smells or tastes in the air.

Slowly bring your awareness to these sensations without rushing.

Start to introduce small movements to your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes gently,

Feeling each tiny motion as it awakens your muscles.

Roll your shoulders slowly,

Releasing any remaining tension and bringing a sense of ease to your upper body.

Now,

If you are lying down,

Gently roll to one side,

Taking a moment to pause there.

If you are sitting,

Straighten your spine a little more,

Feeling the length and strength of your back.

Allow your movements to be slow and mindful,

Savoring the transition from stillness to gentle activity.

When you are ready,

Begin to open your eyes slowly.

Take a moment to stretch your body in a way that feels good to you.

Reach your arms overhead,

Stretch your legs out,

Or gently twist your torso.

As you fully awaken and prepare to resume your day,

Take one more deep breath.

Inhaling peace and exhaling any lingering stress,

Feel the energy and calm flow through your body,

Readying you for whatever lies ahead.

With a final gentle breath,

Know that you are ready to move back into your day with a sense of calm and centeredness.

You are refreshed,

Rejuvenated,

And filled with tranquility.

Open your eyes fully now.

Take one last stretch and feel the calm energy within you.
